Arc five. First Shinobi World War. Chapter 22. Dramatic changes in life.

What an unpleasant feeling... My whole body aches with pain... and my eyes... they burn... as if someone poured kerosene into them... but even so I didn’t cry out from the emotions that overwhelmed me, I just bit my lips to calm down... my eyes were hard to control, so I tried to scan my surroundings using sensory waves, but even then I failed... my chakra... it didn’t listen to me... really? I got a really bad feeling in my heart. I tried to move my hands, but something was restricting my movements... something cold and solid... when I moved, it gave off an unpleasant clang, which, according to my feelings, spread throughout the world... I'm in prison... it's obvious, but I don't understand, Why didn’t I get medical help? I can't use even a drop of my chakra.
- Morgana, are you there? – I tried to mentally turn to my roommate, but in response I heard only oppressive silence. Things take a very bad turn. Think... think... why were you imprisoned? Why are you being treated so badly? What have I done? The last thing I remember was Yumiko running towards me. There were tears of joy and disbelief on her face. What happened before this? Black substance on my hands... and... mom... mom... but it was a demon who pretended to be her to take control of my body. What else do I remember? That's right, the interrogation of the ANBU of the Mist, thanks to which I learned that there would be a meeting of the five kage in Uzushio... So this demon attacked the meeting of the five kage? This explains a lot... Now I am one of the most dangerous ninja in the world... I hope Tobirama will help me. It is obvious that none of the five kage have such strong seals as to block my chakra flow. I can free myself, but to do this I will have to open the storage seal, or the Yin seal, as Ashina likes to call it. This will break the seal that binds me, but a small mistake will lead to an explosion... Until I can make sure that there are no close people nearby, I will not do this. This may be wrong, but I cannot put the lives of my loved ones in danger. To be honest, I don’t have a desire to die either... I still haven’t had time to do a lot in this world... A few minutes later, unhurried steps were heard in the corridor, however, given the rhythm and tact, this person was not familiar to me... The steps gradually approached me. When they were close enough, the unknown person stopped for a few seconds, starting to ring something iron. It was not difficult to guess that these were the keys to the cameras. A little more time passed before the unknown person managed to open the door to my cell. He walked around me from all sides. I literally felt his searching gaze on me, after which he poured a bucket of ice water on me... My body was already hardened by Rico, but it still reacted to it. It can be seen that without chakra in the body, it reacted much worse to such things...
- Awoke? – the guard asked a rhetorical question. Even without eyes, I realized that he was grinning. Bastard…. I didn’t answer him, because that would only provoke him. - You are a true battle legend, Blue-haired Devil... - he continued to mock. - However, now you are so weak and frail. How ironic, because it was you who killed my brother... I hope Ashina dono comes to her senses and you die in a ditch. – he finished his monologue, taking hold of the end of the chains. He led me along the corridor, then along the steps, and then I could breathe in fresh air... We moved on the ground for several minutes, after which I felt the tiles under my feet. We entered a building, moving through which we had to stop periodically. There was a stop in front of every door. After some time, my escort stopped. I thought it was just another door, however, when I heard a click, fixing the chains that bound me, I realized that we had arrived. Then I decided to open my eyes, to the pain of which I had already become accustomed. The light hit my face unpleasantly, so I opened my eyes gradually. This took a few seconds. I looked around lazily, finding myself standing in the center of a round table. Five kage sat on opposite sides. Tobirama looked at me with an appraising look. It was as if he was already sizing up my danger in his head. Ashina looked at me with a sympathetic look. I already understood everything from him. They couldn't protect me. A big man with a Raikage hat looked at me as if I was already his prey. Gengetsu smiled slyly in my face. He had already begun to enjoy his victory. Does he think I'm powerless? Does he think there's nothing I can do now? A bald man with an ornate green dragon tattoo around the top of his head looked at me with indifference, as if I were already dead. Muu gave me a look that made me realize that he wouldn't mind fighting me again.
- Michiko Yuki, you are accused of killing the entire team of merchants of the country of water, of killing three dozen Uzumaki, as well as of attacking the meeting of the five kage. Do you have anything to say? – Gengetsu spoke. He didn't hide the joyful grin on his face. I was about to answer, but I met her gaze... Yumi looked at me with a pleading look, saying... nooo... screaming at the top of her voice, tearing her vocal cords... all this was expressed by my bride with just a look... no words were needed... I realized that Now I should remain silent and put up with everything that I am accused of.
- So you have something to say to the five kage? – the Raikage clarified after a minute of silence. With his gaze he was already throwing lightning bolts at me. It was obvious that he was the only kage who was eager to start a war right now. I silently looked at the head of the Cloud village, who was losing his temper. It is obvious that with my actions I ruined the plans of him and Gengetsu. The Kazekage and the Tsuchikage did not care about the outcome of everything that happened.
- The suspect is not going to defend himself, which means he has nothing to answer us. – Shamon spoke. I finally remembered the name of this kage. I have heard little about his exploits on the battlefield. Master of puppetry. A fighter equal in strength to So, which already deserved respect.
– Then tomorrow at dawn he will be executed. – the Raikage added in a rude tone. Nobody opposed his decision. This has all already been agreed upon, which means I can only rely on Tobirama, Ashina and Yumiko. I was taken back to my cell. More kages didn't want to waste their time on me. Several hours passed. I did not doubt my comrades, but I decided not to sit still. Having taken a comfortable position, I began to accumulate natural energy. Obviously this was a very risky move. My sensei's chakra blocking seal was only working until now because his chakra was still more powerful than mine, however, that was because my body had wasted too much sen chakra on the last fight. Accumulating natural chakra and mixing it with one’s own was the basis for entering hermit mode. Sage Mode required very high chakra control, as well as high concentration. It’s unlikely that a month ago I could have decided to take such a step, because I believed that Morgana was helping me with this, but now she was not in my body. The chance of becoming a pebble was very great, if not for one thing... I realized that my body was so accustomed to the Sen-chakra that it was ready to combine natural energy with my chakra without my help. Even so, it was a very risky move. To be honest, natural energy passed through Ashina’s seal very reluctantly, so it took me much longer to enter Hermit mode. A pleasant wave of energy passed through my body. With an easy, relaxed movement, I removed the shackles from my arms and legs, after which, trying not to make too much noise, I opened the door, using only brute force. The seal was still not broken. My sensei did his best. We need to hurry up. Moving along the corridor, I realized that in the entire prison I was far from the only prisoner. There were dozens of ninja here, some of whom were approaching the doors of their cells. Few of them could speak, but their looks spoke volumes. Then I got an idea. Why not release these people to create a stir? While everyone is looking for them, I can hide. It is unlikely that I will be able to leave Uzushio's territory unnoticed. I was about to open a few doors when I heard footsteps around the corner. I leaned against the corner, ready to disarm the guard. As soon as the steps were close enough, I suddenly appeared from the corner, not giving the guard the opportunity to take any action. Having grabbed the ninja, I was ready to wring his neck when I heard the guard’s voice.
- Is this how you meet your daughter-in-law? – the guard said with resentment in his voice, turning into Yumiko. Transformation technique. - Okay, it doesn’t matter anymore. Follow me. We need to leave Uzushio within ten minutes, then it will be more difficult, because the Uzumaki will raise the protective barrier. – she added, taking my hand. I was so surprised that I could not answer. We walked through the back streets of the village without being noticed. Within seven minutes we were on the beach, where Tobirama was waiting for us.
– I don’t know what happened to you Michiko, but from today the path to any of the hidden villages is closed to you. Now you will be a renegade. Be careful. Yumiko can sometimes visit Konoha, but it is advisable not to do this through the main entrance. Be careful. – the albino spoke, looking at us with a bitter smile. He pulled out a scroll from behind his back, handing it to me.
– What is this? – I asked with interest, about to unroll the scroll.
- Something that will allow you to escape from anyone in this world. Consider this my parting gift to you. - Hashirama's brother answered. Unexpectedly even for me, Tobirama came up and hugged me. – I was glad to meet you. I hope you find your path in life. - he said, releasing me and moving out of the way. Behind him was a small boat.
– Yumi, don’t you… – I was about to ask my daughter-in-law for something, but she interrupted me.
- This is not even discussed. I am going with you. It is my choice. – she answered me with a smile, getting into the boat first. I could only smile helplessly.
When we boarded the boat, a siren sounded in the village, indicating that my disappearance had been discovered.
- Element of water, wave strike. - Tobirama said the name of the technique, after which a huge wave of water caught us, throwing us several hundred meters from the shore. When we sailed a few kilometers from Uzushio, Yumiko spoke.
- Mi-kun, what was that? – she nevertheless decided to ask.
- What are you talking about? – Not understanding what she was talking about, I decided to clarify.
- About what you did. What was it? – she said uncertainly. Now it became clear to me that she was frightened by my behavior that day.
- To stop the war, I used one dangerous technique. She allowed me to kill a thousand ninja single-handedly, but this is far from divine power. - I began to explain, but hesitated, not knowing how to clarify everything to her.
- What kind of power was this? – my fiancée still asked. In her gaze I saw only concern for me.
- Devilish... so dark that its mere existence violates all the laws of our world. – I answered the question without going into details. – Don’t be afraid, this force will no longer be able to take control of me. – I added with a smile, seeing Yumi’s frightened face.
- Do you promise? – she clarified in a squeaky voice. I noticed how tears began to well up in her eyes, so I decided to act decisively. - I promise. – I answered confidently, hugging her.
- Where are we sailing? – I decided to ask after a few minutes, because we began to move away from the Country of Fire and Uzushio. We didn’t even sail towards the Land of Water, but somewhere to the north.
- Tobirama herself told us to sail to the land of Demons. The local priestess was looking for a meeting with you after the appearance of this country. – Yumiko answered my question, after which she pierced me with a murderous look. I got all tense. – Don’t even think about getting her into bed. Otherwise it will hurt you a lot. – Continuing to press with her aura, the blonde girl added.
- What are you talking about? How can I exchange you for someone there? I still love you. – I answered her with a smile on my face, although somewhere in my soul I was already ready to jump into the sea.
- I love you too. – said my bride, removing her lust for murder.
The rest of the way to the country of Demons passed in a fairly pleasant atmosphere. We talked about different things.
We walked onto the pebble beach. We took some provisions with us, so we decided to hurry and find some village to replenish our supplies. After several hours of running, we came across a strange temple. We decided to visit it, thinking that there might be bandits or marauders there from whom we could take provisions. To our surprise, there was no one in the temple. I was about to leave, but they called out to me.
- Look! – Yumiko accidentally leaned against the wall, on which there was an inconspicuous lever in the shape of a button. The old mechanisms started working and the entire wall turned ninety degrees, opening up further passage for us. I was quite surprised by this phenomenon. As much as I wanted to find food, my curiosity got the better of me. I entered the darkness of the passage. Yumiko caught up with me, passing me one of the two burning torches. I just nodded to her in gratitude. A few seconds later, a dark corridor led us to a round staircase. It stretched so deep underground that there was no end in sight. There was a lot of dust and cobwebs here. We decided to go down. Our descent down the stairs took quite a long time. The reason for this was the traps with which the stairs were stuffed. The traps were completely different from each other. At one moment a poisonous arrow could fly at you, and at another a thin fishing line, invisible to the ordinary eye, could immobilize you, after which multi-ton stone boulders were ready to fall on your head. Even if all these traps were not so dangerous for me, for Yumiko they were a serious obstacle, so I had to discharge them all so that my bride did not die. A huge, not even that huge, hall awaited us below. I think that the completed Susano could easily fit in it. There were a huge number of sketches in this room. Moreover, it is worth noting that the sketches were not made in one day or even in a year. It was as if history had been written in this place for centuries.
- Is this the whole history of our world? – Yumiko blurted out in surprise, looking from one picture to another.
- Apparently yes. – I answered her, moving towards the most ancient writings. In the oldest drawing, a strange coat of arms was drawn, from which several names were drawn. First on the list was Kaguya Ōtsutsuki. Two branches stretched from it. The first branch had a great name written on it... Hagoromo Ootsutsuki, and the second branch had Hamura Ootsutsuki written on it. Not a single branch stretched from Hamura, but from Hagoromo there were two branches: Indra Ōtsutsuki and Ashura Ōtsutsuki. One long branch extended from Indra. On the left side it was signed: Uchiha clan. Two branches stretched from Ashura. They were also signed as the Uzumaki clan and the Senju clan. From each of these clans there were branches, which over time turned into a whole clan. I didn’t even notice the inscription next to the first three names at first. Next to Kaguya Ōtsutsuki there was a signature: Kekkei Mora. Hamura had the signature: Guardian of the Moon. Hagorom had a different signature: Sage of the Six Paths. How strange it is. What does Kekkei Mora mean? Is this a title or the name of her powers? I walked closer to the writings. While clearing away the cobwebs with my hand, I accidentally touched Ootsutski Kaguya's name, after which I already opened my eyes in a pure white space.
- Where I am? – I cried out in confusion, looking around. I was just in the temple, and now I’m in God knows where...
- Don't scream, boy. – the girl’s cold voice was heard. At first I thought it was Yumiko, but the voice was completely different, and my thoughts were confirmed almost immediately. The owner of the voice appeared in front of me. It was a pale-skinned woman. She had extremely delicate features, and she also had long and wide white hair. She had clear white eyes, her eyebrows were cut short - a symbol of noble birth - and her lips were painted in dark lipstick. There were two brown horns on her head, which gave me strange thoughts, because they grew from her head. She reminded me very much of the real devil. In addition, she had a third eye in her forehead. The girl wore a transitional hime kimono with a high collar and tomoe on the sleeves and center, as well as gold and purple line decorations.
- Who are you? – I asked, taking a fighting stance, preparing for battle. I perfectly felt her volumes of chakra, which simply frightened me. She had at least ten times more chakra than me.
- You are a guest in my cage, so be so kind as to introduce yourself first. – the white-skinned woman said coldly. She didn’t even change her face from my actions.
- I'm Michiko Yuki. I don't know how I got here, so introduce yourself. – I answered as politely as possible. I really didn't want to fight this stranger.
- I am Kaguya Ōtsutsuki. Power and chakra flow within you, but I see that this power only partly belongs to me. Where do you get your strength from, eh, Michiko? – she asked, approaching me point-blank. Only now I realized that she has the Byakugan.
– I...I... – I mumbled, starting to blush, because she came too close to me, entering my personal space. - Move away, please. – I said rather uncertainly.
– Oh, I see her... – Kaguya drawled as her Bykugan activated. – Morgana... She is not from this world, just like you... It’s amazing that you were able to survive the transmigration of souls. – declared the white-skinned Goddess, looking at me thoughtfully.
- How can you be alive?! You should have died a long time ago. – I asked, not understanding what was happening.
- I can’t die, because I took on more of the burden... Tell me, is this world dear to you? Do you want to save this world from destruction? – Ootsutsuki started asking me. Now I realized that my fate will depend on my answers.
- I want to save this world, because there are still people close to my heart in it. – I said without hesitation. I answered confidently and without hesitation.
– Then free me from my shackles, because a terrible disaster is coming to this planet. This will not happen tomorrow, not the day after tomorrow, but soon enough. There is no creature on this planet that can stop your death. Only I can try to do this, because I have Kekkei Mora. – she said in an authoritative voice, raising her head up.
- What is Kekkei Mora? – I decided to clarify this question. It was very interesting, so while there is an opportunity to communicate with a creature beyond my understanding, why not find out more information.
- This is the power from which all your clans emerged. These are techniques based on all eight elements. Their power is beyond your understanding. – said the Goddess, enjoying her greatness.
- Eight elements? I only know five. What are the other three elements of chakra? - I asked in surprise. Honestly, I couldn’t even imagine what elements of chakra she was talking about.
- You use senjutsu like my eldest son, so why are you so uneducated? – Kaguya blurted out with anger in her voice. – Yin Release, Yang Release and Yin-Yang Release. The Yin element is a technique based on spiritual energy that controls the imagination and can be used to create a form from nothingness. Yang Release is a technique based on physical energy that governs vitality and can be used to breathe life into a form. The Yin-Yang Release is a technique that is performed by simultaneously using the Yin Release and the Yang Release. Yin is associated with a person's spiritual energy, and Yang is associated with physical energy, and both of them must be used to knead the chakra for your ninjutsu. – the Goddess gave a short lecture.
- So, in order to develop the highest techniques of your world, I need to master the eight elements of natural chakra? – I clarified, already beginning to understand approximately what power means in this world.
- To put it roughly, yes, but in reality it is very difficult to fit so much power into one body. For example, your body now cannot withstand even one use of Kekkei Mora. – Ōtsutsuki answered the question.
- Then how does your body fit so much power? – I asked a completely reasonable question.
- The body of a member of the Ōtsutsuki clan adapts very well to any force. The more chakra we absorb, the stronger we become. This growth is almost endless. I am a fairly young representative of my clan, if you take away the years of imprisonment, but I managed to absorb the Divine Tree Chakra Fruit. For a thousand years I waited for him to mature, only after that I became strong enough to stop all wars. – Kaguya clarified to me, smiling sadly.
- And then Hagoromo and Hamura were born, who did not understand your intentions and overthrew you, but I thought you were dead. – I added, thoughtfully.
- My story has even reached your time. Marvelous. My children considered me a dictator who only wanted to take over this world, and I just wanted to protect them, but their strength was not enough to kill me. I could kill them a thousand times, but I couldn’t... I couldn’t kill my children... Our battle lasted for several months until they managed to come up with a seal that could seal me. This is how the Moon appeared, which became my prison. – the Goddess said with tears in her eyes. Oh, what a Goddess, what a girl... They are all the same, although she has been alone for a very long time, so it is not surprising that she reacted to me this way. I tried to calm her down, going to hug her, but Ootsutsuki abruptly moved away... flew away from me...
- Don’t come near me... Divine power flows in my blood, so you are no longer worthy of my attention. – she said coldly, quickly wiping tears from her eyes.
- But how can you free yourself? Do I need to destroy the moon? Won't this wreak havoc on our planetary orbit? - I bombarded her with questions, starting to feel that something was pulling my soul back... into the real world...
- Hmm... you can do that too, but it’s much safer to collect all the tailed creatures in the Gedo Maza statue, and then resurrect the ten-tailed one. Find a strong victim who can become a vessel for this monster, and then everything will be done. – she finished, seeing me begin to disappear from her space.
- Just one life is not enough for something like this, but I’ll think of something. – I finally shouted. The goddess just smiled gently at me, after which I opened my eyes to the real world.
- Michiko?! Michiko?! Hey, what's wrong with you? – Yumiko said with fear in her voice, tugging at my hand.
- It's surprising that you met her. – said someone’s painfully familiar voice from the darkness.
