In the realm where Friendship's princess dwells, What time of day does her heart compel? Does she favor the day, with sunlight so bright, Or the night, with a celestial light? She adores the eve and the dawn's sweet embrace, When moon and sun meet, if only for a trace. A gaze into the distance, where the moon takes its cue, Passing the torch to the sun, a radiant view. Brightness surrounds, warmth in the air, Yet Twilight feels no warmth, an emptiness to bear. No warmth compares to his loving hold, No deep lake rivals the stories his eyes unfold. The way he looked at her, unmatched and true, As a girl of great worth, enchanting and new. Twilight knew he sought her in another's grace, Her hands on the railing, tears on her face. "He's not the one you think, not the same," Turned around, another princess came. "Princess Luna?" Twilight inquired, eyes wet, "You miss him, and it's causing regret." "Feelings are eternal, they never depart, No magic, however potent, can change the heart. Forget, you may try, but feelings persist, Even the strongest mage can't resist."
