Notes:
Gregory meets the tutor.
Light and darkness. The moon and the sun. Who is a friend and who is an enemy.
Tears flowed from Gregory: he could not completely calm down.
Literally, he had just said goodbye to Freddy, when three evil animatronics attacked him.
Gregory ran as fast as they could from them and ran down the corridors, and the evil robots rushed after him.
The boy barely managed to escape from them, but unfortunately, a huge alligator managed to scratch his hand, and to the horror of Gregory, tore off his watch, depriving him of his connection with the bear.
Gregory tried to get to the main doors, but before he could reach them, the security gates were lowered and a mechanical voice said that the security system had been activated and the gates would not open until morning.
Gregory was trapped.
In order not to remain in the open and not be caught by the animatronics, the boy began to hide in the rooms available to him in front of the main entrance.
Gregory roamed the corners looking for anything that would help him escape.
Fortunately, Gregory found a sports bag with things: there was nothing serious inside, except for a pass to kindergarten.
Gregory remembered that he had already seen the gate near the elevators that led to the children's area.
This could be a salvation for Gregory.
Making his way through the corridors, slowly overcoming the escalators, and trying not to catch the eye of the evil animatronics, Gregory slipped into the children's area.
The boy carefully walked towards the kindergarten, clutching his aching hand: blood oozed from large scratches, leaving small drops on the floor.
Finally Gregory crossed the gates of the kindergarten. Inside, he was greeted by two golden statues and a huge children's area. But the boy had no time to admire the views: he had to hide from the evil robots.
Quickly looking around and making sure that there was no one around, the boy ran to the kindergarten hill and rolled down.
At the bottom he was met by a huge pool of balls.
Not having time to take a couple of steps, as a cheerful laughter was heard from above from the balcony, and someone enthusiastically dived into the pool.
Gregory was frightened: he had not yet recovered from the shock after meeting with the evil alligator, chicken and she-wolf.
The boy is jerked out of the colorful balls. He is held at outstretched arms by a very thin, but very strange animatronic: he was different from those that Gregory had met earlier. His head was a mixture of the sun and the crescent moon, a wide smile on his face, and he himself looked more like a jester and behind the bells located on the arms and legs of the animatronic.
The robot was broadcasting something about spending the night, and other entertainments, but when he saw the blood on his hands and tears on the face of the child, he abruptly stopped. Sun, that was the name of the animatronic, was horrified: a new friend who happened to be in his kindergarten after hours was injured.
He, as a teacher, was used to dealing with various injuries in children, and even knew how to provide first aid if necessary. But now even he was confused.
There were deep scratches on the child’s hand, clearly left by sharp claws, and tears flowed down the boy’s face, and fear was read in his eyes.
The kid was scared.
Sun, as a responsible educator, is obliged to help the baby at all costs.
Sundrop began to calm the child: he promised that he would not offend the boy, and that he would definitely help him heal his hand.
The teacher immediately rushed to the guard post for a first aid kit.
Normally, this zone was not allowed, unless in extreme cases, and an injured child was more than ever an extreme case.
Grabbing the first aid kit, Sun began to work on the boy's hand. Luckily, although the wounds looked pretty deep, they weren't as bad as Sun had feared, meaning he wouldn't have to stitch them up, just dressing and bandaging them well would suffice.
During the treatment, Sun managed to find out from the boy who he was and who did this to him.
Gregory told him how he snuck into the pizzeria looking for food and shelter, because he was homeless, how he hid inside Freddy, how the bear helped him get to the exit, but before he could, his charge ran out, and how after the boy was attacked by three other animatronics, who both wounded him and prevented him from reaching the exit of the pizzeria in time.
Sundrop was horrified: who could offend the child, how the child was alone, how the child did not have a home and parents.
There was no home and no parents.
Sundrop was replaying the last part of his thoughts in his mind when he noticed that his new friend was slowly sinking to the ground.
It seems from the horror experienced, the boy lost consciousness and passed out.
Sun gently laid him down on the soft floor, pushing him a little into the shade so that the light from the lamps would not interfere with his sleep.
He quickly went for a blanket and pillow to make the boy comfortable, and then sat down across from him.
Sun watched the sleeping child intently: he was so adorable, so small, so helpless.
This child was exactly what Sun and OH had dreamed of.
He could keep him and take care of him, and finally, he would not be so lonely.
But no.
He couldn't do that.
He shouldn't hold the boy - that's wrong.
And he doesn't care what he wants.
Sundrop would never do that.
It's dangerous for Gregory to stay in kindergarten.
If the lights suddenly go out and HE comes out, then Gregory will no longer be able to leave.
Sun has to send the boy away from the kindergarten.
But how?
There is a huge complex around, and evil animatronics roam.
The child should not be released without proper assistance.
And since Sundrop cannot go with him, he will give him something that will help him in his difficult test.
The teacher went straight to the security post: his protocols screamed about the ban, but he did not listen to them - he has a child, and he needs him, and this is more important than any rules there.
He has to help the little rule breaker.
Sun was able to get a flashlight, and most importantly, a security pass to open the doors.
Sun thought what to give Gregory personally, which would help him along the way, and looking at the exhausted sleeping child, he guessed.
From his chest compartment, where HIS night cap was kept, Sundrop took out a small bag of sweets: these sunny sweets gave children the energy to frolic and play all day long.
Just what you need for a tired baby.
Sun put all his things together and began to wake Gregory.
No matter how much he wanted him to rest further, but he needed to wake him up, and send him as soon as possible, while the light was on, and until HE woke up.
When Gregory woke up, he did not understand what Sun wanted from him, but when he understood, he asked not to drive him away.
The boy asked for forgiveness if he offended the sun, he did not want to be driven away, he did not want to be left alone.
But Sun reassured him: he was not angry at anything, and that he himself did not want to drive him away, but he understood that next to him the boy would be in no less danger than from other animatronics, that for the sake of his safety, he must leave.
Gregory, sobbing, accepted the things presented to him, and was about to leave, but at the very door he asked San how he should be with the other animatronics.
To get to the exit, or at least to his friend Freddy, he needs to overcome such a distance, and aggressive robots are roaming around, and that he needs to somehow overcome them.
He needed some kind of weapon.
Sun thought about the weapon, and it dawned on him.
He quickly ran to the ball pool and dived into it again.
Strange sounds came from there for a couple of minutes, and then a contented San jumped out of there, holding something in his palms.
He ran up to Gregory with a mischievous gait and handed him his find.
Sun offered him his weapon: a small mini camera with a strap.
Sundrop said it was a novelty: the famous Miniature Phase Camera, especially for the little ones, because conventional cameras are too big and heavy for small children to hold.
Sundrop explained to Gregory about the peculiarity of the camera, and the eyes of the animatronics, that from a bright flash, they temporarily fail.
If the boy is chased, then he can always run away from his pursuers, blinding them with a flash.
But he needs to use the camera wisely: this mini camera runs out of battery quickly and takes time to recharge.
Sundrop apologized that this was all he could help the boy, but Gregory hugged him warmly, saying that this was the best he could get, that he could not count on more.
Saying goodbye, Gregory leaves the kindergarten.
He climbs the stairs and goes to the entrance where he came from.
Before leaving, he turns to the kindergarten.
Sundrop is sitting there on the balcony: he waves goodbye to him and wishes the boy good luck.
Gregory waves back at him, then leaves, the doors closing behind him.
Sundrop remains alone.
