ㅤㅤIn honor of the 30th anniversary of the "Tales of" game series, I would like to express my respect and love for the series by starting a personal year-long fan fiction marathon for the series on December 15, 2025. One day — one story. I can't guarantee I'll actually last the entire year… Anything can happen. But I'll fight to the bitter end! I've tried annual marathons a couple of times and always finished them.
ㅤㅤRules:
ㅤㅤ1. Once a day I will post a story related to the "Tales of" series.
ㅤㅤ2. If it's something multi-chapter (which is unlikely, but I wouldn't say never), then one chapter counts as completing the plan for one day.
ㅤㅤ3. Crossovers count. So don't be surprised if you'll see some"Tales of"paired with, say, "Devil May Cry" or something else…
ㅤㅤ4. If I don't have the technical ability to post work on time for a certain amount of time, I will make up for the gaps by posting several stories a day.
ㅤㅤ5. The stories can be very short (and often will be), as writing every day for a year is difficult.
ㅤㅤ6. I reserve the right to quit early if things get really bad. For me, this is an extremely undesirable scenario, but I prefer not to make any promises that there's even the slightest chance I'll break. And I've been experiencing so much negativity lately that I can't guarantee anything. So this rule is more of a safety net.
ㅤㅤIf you've long dreamed of seeing a story featuring characters you're interested in from a particular game in the series, or a combination of them, or even an entirely unusual combination of fandoms from different universes, let me know in the comments — I'll consider it/ But remember, the stories will be very short, so I'll ignore ideas for midi-maxi. If the fandom is unknown or uninteresting to me, then, alas, it's also out of the question. If the stars align, then you may well inspire me to write a specific story and become part of the marathon by mentioning it in the description of the story born thanks to you.
