Henry 38 is a Shepherd in Haven, a desert settlement on the outskirts of a ruined city abandoned centuries ago. As a Shepherd, his main job is to enforce the laws of their God, whom they all worship absolutely. But a series of strange events soon reveal that not all is as Henry was led to believe in Haven. It all begins when a catastrophic earthquake has him crossing paths with a mysterious young woman named Evelyn.
