April Showers 2024. A 3-day-long event!

Everything is blooming and growing in spring! We hope that the same applies to your creativity and inspiration. Let’s make it interesting, shall we? Our spring event will be as quick as spring showers: 3 days only!

🌷1st, 2nd, 3rd of April🌷

The authors who want to boost their creativity will need to write up to 3 works with the keywords provided for this challenge. Participation in each day of the challenge will be rewarded with 100 coins. Those authors who submit all 3 works for every day of the challenge will receive 300 coins!

Keywords differ for every day of the challenge. Pick the ones that you like!

• 01.04 Monday: jokes/a prank that got out of hand/April Fool’s Day
• 02.04 Tuesday: spring showers/changeable weather/sudden change of plans that worked out for the best
• 03.04 Wednesday: flowers and their meanings/sending, getting or presenting flowers to someone/gardening

Choose any of the keywords for each day or all of them at once and get to writing! All the authors participating in the event should publish their works by April 3rd with a special event tag. The coins will be distributed over the period of the 6th and 7th of April.

Fill in the CONFIRMATION FORM by the 5th of April and you will receive a reward!

Rules of the challenge:

✅ The works you submit must be marked with the special event tag April Showers 2024;

✅ The work you submit must be a new one (i.e., not published on FicFan previously). You may transfer your works from other websites if you are the author and these works match the keywords;

✅ All works can be either separate or the plot interconnected at the choice of the author;

✅ Each work should contain at least 700 words, including prepositions and articles, as well as have at least one completed semantic block by the end of the challenge (chapter, part);

✅ You may publish a translation on condition you have original author’s permission for that and the original text matches the tag of the day;

✅ You can work with co-authors, betas and gammas, but only the main author who submits the confirmation form will get the coins;

✅ Сollaborative writing teams are welcome to participate (but in this case only one author will get the reward).

🚫 It is prohibited to:

🚫 Assign a special challenge tag to the works that were published before the challenge week;

🚫 Assign a special challenge tag to the works that will be published after the challenge week;

🚫 Assign a special challenge tag to the works that don't comply with the rules of the challenge;

🚫 Publish works that violate the Rules of our website (otherwise, you will be banned).
