We’re excited to share a new update that will make participating in our events easier and more enjoyable than ever. Starting this month, we’ll be sending out a dedicated mailing with early announcements about all upcoming challenges, themed months, contests, and community activities. We want to make sure every writer and reader in our community has the chance to join in comfortably, and this new early-update system is a big step toward that.
No more last-minute rush! Just everything you need delivered right to your inbox. If you’re not subscribed yet, now is the perfect moment. You won’t want to miss what’s coming next!
Our Requests section is a special place where anyone can share ideas with authors.
Each month, we’ll select the most popular request and reward its creator with a unique gift and some coins! We’ll be looking at the number of likes, bookmarks, and works inspired by it.
Even if you don’t feel like writing something yourself, you can still encourage others and spark their creativity. Go on — become someone’s Muse!
Twice a month, all authors and readers can ask for and give feedback. This is a community-based activity, so it relies on everyone’s participation to keep things fair. Share a link to the work you’d like reviewed and don’t forget to return the favor!
It’s a wonderful way to discover hidden gems you might never have found otherwise, and to make someone’s day just by spreading a little kindness.

🎄 Monthly Prompts are back! As the year winds down and the world wraps itself in blankets, lights, and warm drinks, we invite you to slow down, breathe deeply, and write something comforting. Whether you're writing about a snowy evening, a shared cup of cocoa, a long-awaited reunion, or the glow of candles in the dark, there's a prompt waiting to wrap you in a little warmth.
🎄 The rules are the same: 300 words minimum, work must be a new one (not published on FicFan before), use tag Monthly prompts.
🎄 At the end of the challenge we will randomly pick 3 lucky authors who will get prizes!
