Chapter 1
July 22, 2026 at 6:00 PM
"What's up, Joy?" Ready to have some fun?
Mark boomed, smiling maliciously.
Just the other day. Wayne, a half-wit, suggested that the company go to a "wonderful" place for the weekend. A place where there are no police. The place where the grass itself grows. A place where lovers are not shy of each other.
And Kiri wouldn't have gone there but.. But Emily readily agreed. And the blonde couldn't refuse.
Joey mumbled something like "yes." Of course, the mood was not from the word at all. Since the very morning, Carla, clearly already in a drunken state, stopped going to the blonde like:"My mom will kill me if she sees me like this" or "And I'm still a student, aren't you?" and so on.
And Mark, when he saw Joy, laughed and said, like, "evil nerdy macaque." Which really pissed Kiri off.
— Why are you sitting with a sour face, Kiwi?
Said Wayne, who was sitting to the right of the blond man. The bespectacled man smiled. I was imagining how to smoke grass already.
— I got up on the wrong foot.
Joy said. Carla's head fell onto Kiri's left shoulder. This asshole fell asleep right on his shoulder! The blond man barely suppressed his disgust and annoyance, for the sake of decency.
Emily, hearing Joey's exasperated sigh, turned around and giggled. Her red hair literally shone in the sun. The green eyes narrowed with a soft but gentle laugh. And the smile.. Kiri was literally attracted to his charming and beautiful smile.
The blond even forgot about his annoyance. Joey forgot about everything. The sight of the red-haired girl captivated him. He was drunk. It was as if he was begging her to take her in his arms. Kiss him. Gently, gently. Hug and cuddle like a little kitten. To keep warm. To be happy...
The blonde didn't even notice how his lips stretched into a gentle smile. And my thoughts were filled with fantasies about Emily, about her pure and sincere love.
But Mark's voice pulled him out of his fantasies.
— Hey, nerd, what are you dreaming about? How are you going to fuck Carla?
The redhead laughed harder at the dark-skinned man's words. And the fantastic, barely perceptible haze disappeared before Joy's eyes.
— I would love to try out your effective banana.
Carla purred, rubbing her cheek against the blonde's shoulder.
To which Kiri gasped with indignation. From the age of thirteen, Joy realized that the topic of sex had never attracted him and did not attract him. He didn't understand why he would fuck someone without permission. Without love. Without feelings. Just for fun and enjoyment.
Because of this, by the way, he was called a real angel. Especially Mark. That's how this king wants to call Kiri an "angel."
— Although.. You're an angel, Kiwi. — the dark—skinned man said with a caustic smile - I don't think you're attracted to anyone at all.

Having reached the right place, the company began to set up tents. Mark and Joy did most of it. Wayne ran off to find some weed. And the girls started drinking cocktails.
— I heard there's a damn camp nearby, angel.
Mark said, setting up the carriage of the future tent. Kiri is taking out pillows and sleeping bags.
"What kind of camp?"
Joey asked thoughtfully, handing the dark-skinned man his things. Seeing the blond man's interest, the basketball player continued with a grin.
—Crystal Lake." One day, a boy named Jason drowned there. His mom went crazy after that and killed all the counselors. Mark moved closer to Joy, but one of the surviving counselors cut off the woman's head. There are rumors that Jason is actually alive and avenging his mother. That's it, angel.
— Ugh! Markusha, I'm eating!
Emily exclaimed as she tasted the kebab that Carla had made. Kiri raised an eyebrow in surprise.
"Have you built a fire yet?"
The blond man came closer, examining the first kebabs. Carly lifted her head proudly.
- yes. Will you?
Joey grimaced.
— No, thanks. I'm not hungry.
Mark, who came up from behind, laughed.
— Do you feel sorry for the animals, angel?
- no. I just don't have an appetite.

After finding time, Kiri took Emily for a walk.
Forest, birds. Joy closed it with pleasure. The redhead walked beside her, smiling her most beautiful smile.
— That's it.. You wanted to tell me something.
Emily said timidly. They reached a beautiful waterfall. Joy looked at the falling water and said with pure bright love.
- yes.. Wanted.
Kiri came closer, standing in front of Emily.
"I've been wanting to tell you this for so long, Emily. You are the most beautiful girl. The most beautiful. Your hair is the epitome of summer itself. Your eyes are like green grass after the rain. — the blonde's heart was beating so loudly that it was ready to jump out. "I love you, Emily." I've loved you all my life. And I can't stop loving you.
Joey fell silent, feeling everything turn upside down. How everything boils with the brightness of their feelings and spoken words.
Emily stood stunned. But after thinking about Kiri's words, the redhead smiled, and actually laughed.
"You're a fool, Joy! You're a stupid and pathetic nerd! Do you really think that I would love a nobody like you? Emily spat at the blond man's feet. —Go fuck Carla." You don't deserve me.
With that, the redhead left.
The blonde's heart broke into small pieces. All the colors of nature immediately went out. The world has stopped being so bright and joyful.
Turning to the waterfall, Joey screamed. Pain and fierce resentment burst out in the scream. Kiri didn't even notice the tears running down his cheeks.
***
When you stopped by the lake, Joy sat down on an old log and looked out into the lake.
Many said that Kiri's appearance was not the most ordinary. Blond with bright blue eyes and freckles on his cheeks. The face is round, the chin is sharp.
The physique is thin. Physically, Joey was not strong. Well, compared to Mark, he was a jerk.
Kiri put on his headphones and started the player. In particular, music was the blonde's only companion in difficult moments. And the music was even appropriate.
Closing his eyes, Joey whispered the words of the song as if they were his only salvation. It makes sense in this cruel and rotten world.
— And I forget, just why I taste
Kiri's voice was hoarse from crying. Yeah, the guy shouted normally at the waterfall.
—Oh yeah, I guess it makes me smile
The blonde couldn't help but smile, hearing the voice of his favorite performer in his headphones. Only that smile was dry and haggard.
Joey closed his eyes and hummed the last lines with special love and sincerity.
— I found it hard, it's hard to find — Kiri tilted his head back and whispered on his last exhale — Oh well, whatever, never mind
But suddenly, through the headphones, the blond man heard a rustle. Joy immediately jumped up and turned around, intently examining the woods in which the silhouette was hiding.
***
It should be a normal day. That's what Jason originally thought when he came out of his barn. But when Voorhees heard the voices of people, he silently cursed the strangers and their entire family.
And the first thing the bully checked was the big bushes with grass. And yes. Jason was not mistaken.
Some blond, bespectacled man was squatting on his heels, sniffing weed.
Wayne didn't even know anything about it. He was so engrossed that he didn't even hear the footsteps. But when the rustling grew louder, the bespectacled man immediately stood up and turned around.
A man in a hockey mask was confidently walking towards him. The bully was holding an axe in his hands. Wayne understood all the battles and immediately took off, hoping that the maniac would not catch up.
Breaking away, the bespectacled man leaned against a tree, breathing heavily. But turning his head, the blond man saw a bully in front of him. And he raised the axe and plunged it into Wayne's chest.
He screamed in pain. Blood gushed out in all directions. A scarlet river flowed from his mouth. But that didn't stop Jason. He hacked at the guy's cage until he saw the heart. A heart that was still beating. But after a couple of seconds, it stopped.
Voorhees stood up and examined his work. His chest was pierced to the bloody ribs. You could see the lungs and intestines. There was horror and pain on Wayne's face.
Jason took the bespectacled man's heart and squeezed it so hard that the organ literally exploded in Voorhees' hands.
***
Emily replayed the entire conversation with Joey in her head as she walked to the tents. At some point, the girl felt remorse for her rude words.
But when she saw Mark, she forgot about feeling guilty about Kiri.
They literally attacked each other. Mark pushed Emily into the tent and began to undress her like an animal. She just spread her legs, revealing her "beauty"
"Baby, you're beautiful..
Mark growled, unbuttoning his fly. The dark-skinned man abruptly pushed into the redhead, not thinking at all about his partner. Emily screamed in pain, but after a few minutes she got used to it.
But suddenly, the tent opened. Emily screamed in horror. My heart was racing with fear. There was a huge man in a hockey mask standing behind Mark.
The dark-skinned man turned around, but did not have time to react. The maniac swung a machete and cut off Mark's head with one blow. The guy's head rolled to the floor. And the body fell on the girl.
Emily screamed. She opened the tent and ran out of it. But it was too late. Voorhees threw an axe at the redhead. But he didn't kill her.
A damn pain shot through Emily's side. The redhead fell to the ground and tried to crawl. To be honest, it was a little late to rush around. The man took out an axe, turned the girl over on her back and slit her stomach with a machete. Harsh, cold, and rude. Emily let out a final cry of pain, after which her guts fell out of her body. Voorhees chopped the girl's ribs several more times.
***
Carla hid behind a tree, watching her friend being killed. The painting made my body feel cold and hot. Closing her eyes, the girl covered her mouth, trying not to make a sound. A branch cracked treacherously under her feet.
The man froze, listening. Realizing where the sound came from, the killer went there.
Carla jumped out from behind the tree. Tears began to flow.
- no.. Please don't! Have mercy on me! Please!
But Voorhees wasn't listening to her. He grabbed zadrotka by the hair and dragged her to the river. Carla kicked and struggled, begging for mercy.
The man dipped the girl's head into the river until she stopped kicking.
***
Joey's heart sank uncomfortably. And anxiety settled in my chest.
Taking off his headphones, Kiri turned off the player and walked briskly to the recreation area.
The blond man's eyes widened in horror. The grass was covered in blood. The tents were torn down. And in the middle of the clearing there was a bonfire of the bodies of his friends.. His friends. They're dumb, annoying, drug addicts, and drunks, but they're friends. The people who called and asked if Joey was dead. People who were worried about little things like a missed goal or a pimple on their nose. People who cared about him were now burning in front of his eyes, tortured and killed.
Jason looked up when he heard footsteps. When Voorhees saw the man, he raised the machete for another bloodbath. But when the killer saw who it was, he dropped the weapon. And instead of bloodshed, Jason went up to Kira and wrapped his arms around him, mumbling something like, "hush." Kiri did not resist. He just cried silently on Voorhees' shoulder.
