ㅤ Dhaos fell… He gave in to despair and turned to the ruler of the demonic world, asking for the strength to overcome human stupidity. He called upon the darkness, wishing to save the light… He had already lost everything, and the darkness became his last hope. People labeled him as the demon king, so why shouldn't he actually become one? But he didn’t know that he would have to fight for the throne not with demons, but with other people who were eager to get a place in hell. The last opponent on the bloody path was a man in menacing black armor. His face was invisible, but his voice was enough to sense his fortitude. The horned judge called out the opponents' names, chuckling as he disappeared from the vast battlefield. Garland attacked immediately, narrowly missing the side of his opponent, who didn't react fast enough. Dhaos counterattacked with fast magic, seeing no point in hitting the armor with his hands and feet. He immediately increased the distance, which Garland was trying to close, not giving him a chance to use a powerful spell. But even weak spells were enough to gradually inflict damage and wear down the enemy even more than he had been able to. And yet, Garland managed to touch Dhaos… A glancing wound. By then, they were both exhausted, so Dhaos decided to speak while his opponent was still inactive: "What are you fighting for? Do you have anything to protect?" "Protect?" Garland laughed. His soul was ablaze, a bouquet of negative emotions blooming like a scorching scarlet flower. "Who would descend into the very heat of Pandemonium to protect anything? I am here to punish those who dared stand in my way! Since I have been rejected, let them reap the fruits of the chaos I will bring with my return!" Rejected… The world of Aselia also rejected Dhaos; he could understand Garland on this point. But otherwise… Their views differed too greatly. 'I carry the world on my shoulders, while he carries only pride. The likes of him are easy to defeat; I've simply grown complacent and tired after a string of easy victories,' he told himself. "Then you will fall," he warned Garland, who was unaware that throughout the entire dialogue, Dhaos had been gathering his strength for the final blow. A swift beam, a laser, became the final point in the battle for the throne… ㅤ
