Corpse continent series book two: Rise of the Arcane kingdom

The next day Dragon and Hela sent out invitations to the leaders of each kingdom inviting them to one spot to discuss current events and how they can help each other with the chaos written in the invitation "We the kings and queen of the arcane kingdom have heard that each people have suffered in their own ways but we have an idea we come together and talk of ways to help each other through the chaos you have tried to deal with it apart and look where that lead you all so let us work together and build a continent of peace. from Dragon and Hela of the Arcane kingdom." Several days later after sending those letters out first to come were the Drakkia after a few days Vulcan, Anansi and Chiron arrived at once and the last to show up were several Antler chief's and when they arrived they all sat at a circular table with no head everyone sitting as an equal each side shared stories of their struggles well mainly the Antlers, Anansi and Chiron who suffered the most the Drakkia shared theirs as well but knew it wasn't as bad as the others because they had counter measures in place After each leader shared their stories the Drakkia were the first to offer help and support by sending sending drakkia and dragon soldiers to help make the Anansi and Chiron feel more secure with giant fire breathers and magic wielders staying to help secure the safety of their people the Anansi and Chiron happily accepted and as for the Antlers Dragon and Ancalagon offered to be mediators to assist them in regaining the peace they once enjoyed but would only do so if the Antler truly desired it again the Antler chief's looked at each other and agreed to it and for the Vulcan they offered to match the rest in aid not wanting to sit around doing nothing not anymore After this meeting dragons and drakkia covered the skies and Vulcan filled the streets of the Arcadia kingdom home of the Anansi and Chiron serving as deterrents to what ever or who ever was terrorizing this city and it's inhabitants and with the Antlers Dragon, Ancalagon and a Vulcan named Coran had gathered several of the splintered Antler tribes and offered a chance to move forward if not for themselves for the future generations this was their Dragon: You all feel like you can't trust each other now acting like the past where you did doesn't exist anymore and ignoring the possibility that it could exist again Ancalagon: He is right if you live with this hate towards one another and worst pass it down to future generation you will ruin yourselves Dragon: We are not saying forget the past we are saying don't let it dictate your future Coran: If you wish to move forward into a new era of peace come to us and we can help you that is why we are here Many Antlers silently agreed and with these three serving as councillors leading the Antler into a peaceful age like they once enjoyed and over the course of several months the Antlers had returned to their peaceful state they once enjoyed in those same months Hela gave birth to her and Dragon third daughter who after some thinking they decided to name her Leah but along with these events the Arcane kingdom had been suffering mysterious killings constant infighting among the people neither Dragon and Hela would enjoy the birth of their new daughter for long while all this was going on Dragon and Hela would take turns taking care of their children but there were times both of them were too busy to care for children so their attendees had to take over which hurt them about as much as you would expect they were upset that they couldn't be with their children but they distracted themselves with their work of governing an entire kingdom of three cities and more than ten million people which were beginning to turn on themselves which they had too figure out why, how and what to do about it and came up with no ideas Too try and figure out what was going on they summoned many civilians too hear of the situation from their perspective, a couple were walking back home from a date before feeling a presence from behind when one of them looked they saw nothing but when they looked to their spouse they saw they were gone and in a panic they went looking for them but when they found them they were dead throat cut open murdered and when they called for help an investigation was launch but those who investigated were found dead themselves Dragon and Hela found that terrifying After hearing about these crimes Dragon created a special police faction that are trained into covert stealth tactics how to hide into the shadows and watch from them when they finally found a figure following one of their colleague pretending to be a civilian and when the figure prepared to strike they were ambushed and restrained but to the surprised of shadow forces the figure grew a third arm and escape them but even though they were confused they know had better idea of who and what they were dealing with and reported it to Dragon When he heard about what happened he asked for the details and they told him they had used lightning magic to stun them and it seemed to cause them much pain before they grew their third arm and this gave him idea he ordered the shadows to remain and hide and watch for this shape shifter and for several months there was nothing no sign of the shape shifter no murders nothing it was peaceful which Dragon and Hela enjoyed especially since with in this peace Hela gave birth to their sixth child and third son they named Atlas but after a few months their peace had ended when the dead body of Angela was found
