Chapter 9 Chaos among the Antlers

After hearing what is going on in the land of Antler titan a pregnant but protected Hela decided to go to see what exactly is going on with the Antlers who were even more hostile than she remembered for the moment her Jack and Eric set foot on their land they were surrounded by highly on edge heavily armed Antler border guardians, Hela tried to talk them down saying
Hela: Okay, okay let me make something clear we are not here to cause any trouble we heard about the issues you've been suffering and I wanted to see if I could help
The Antler guards looked at each other for a moment deciding what to do with them until their captain stepped up and told them "Follow me." After calming the situation the Antler guard captain lead Hela and co into the nearest village where they met with the elder who explained what happened
Once every year the Antlers would gather within the rib cage jungle to share food, stories and whatever else happen to them over the course of the year but during the last gathering there was some drama had arised among some Antlers and that lead to one Antler killing another this violence escalated over the course of this year which is surprising considering this year only a few months old. "What drama exactly?" Hela asked curious
A husband and wife were at the gathering when they lost each other but when the husband found his wife he found with another Antler he desired a divorce claiming adultery but the wife had claimed the adultery was unintentional saying the gathering had gotten chaotic and she couldn't tell who was who this explanation would've worked but the husband wasn't buying it and soon the families of both sides had gotten involved and eventually things heated up and the conflict ended with the husband striking his wife's brother with a rock killing him, the conflict had gotten so bad he wasn't the first to die and when it reached it's end so many Antler were found dead including the Antler that started it all
After hearing that story the elder further explained that for the last few months other similar situations had arose across the Antler homeland each one ending the same way an Antler dead this caused much suspicion and distrust among the Antler villages across the titans bones this lead to many Antlers that once considered each other brothers and sisters now speak to one another with believe that the other is a suspect of distrust and disloyalty
This suspicion had turned the love Antlers have for each other into something colder with that now in their hearts the land of the Antler titan had become a place of violence, war and fighting with only a few Antler groups who stayed together even so these groups still held suspicion towards their own members now trying to survive in this new more aggressive era of the world and Hela didn't know how to help
Hela came to the Antler to see if she can offer a helping hand but now realizing there is nothing she can do she went back home disappointed and depressed and when Dragon saw her he asked if there was anything he could do to lift her spirits she said "No but your welcome to try." Dragon gave her a smile and said "While you were away Astrid and Angela approached me asking if I could clear my schedule to be the officiate at their wedding." Dragon paused letting the news sink in "I told them to wait for you to get back."
Hela welcome the small but joyous distraction and immediately went to Astrid and Angela too sorta interrogate them on why she is hearing about their engagement from her husband and not from them to that they explained "Well by Angela here finally proposed you had already left for Antlers." Astrid told her and Angela added "Besides it goes without saying your gonna be apart of the wedding planning the king may be the officiate but the queen will be apart of everything else." Hela vibrating with excitement "I would be honored."
Angela and Astrid's wedding was underway they decided to hold the wedding after Hela had her child a suggestion made by Astrid so their union would also be a welcoming of the newest member of their family Angela supported this decision and while all that was happening Dragon was doing his service as king he gave his seal of approval for a new roads and rail way and was decided whether or not he should allow his police to use the rune infused guns that were salvaged from the anarchist war arguing with himself but eventually decided to allow guns to be standard police arsenal but with strict restriction
After several months Hela finally reached her due date and soon gave birth to a beautiful healthy baby girl they decided to name Dominique for like their sons who took after their mother Dominique had her father eyes and Hela could she would end up looking just like her grandmother who she is named after and a couple weeks after her birth Angela and Astrid's wedding took place
Taking place in a field of flower everyone important to Angela and Astrid was there Aaron, Mya, Hela and her three kids and Dragon ready to officially proclaim Angela and Astrid wives. Angela wore a white suit with tints of green [to match Astrid's eyes] and purple trousers [Astrid favourite color]
Astrid's dress was white with tints of blue [Angela's favourite color] and the the gown had golden trims at the edge [to match Angela's eyes] and when the time came Dragon spoke
Dragon: Dear guest we all know why we are here so I don't need to say it [everyone laughs] so let us begin, do you Angela take Astrid to be your lovely wedded wife and love her till the day you both die
Angela: I do
Dragon: And do you Astrid take Angela to be your wife and love her till death you part
Astrid: I do
Dragon: Then by the grace of the titans and power vested in me I hear by name you wife and wife you may now kiss the bride [Angela pulls Astrid into a kiss]
