Notes:
Moonpebble scrambled to her feet, her heart thumping in her chest. The force of the impact had sent a shudder through the soil, toppling trees and snapping branches. A plume of dust rose into the air, obscuring her vision.       As the haze cleared, the cat’s eyes widened in horror. A scene of utter devastation lay before her. A massive boulder, its surface cracked and splintered, now blocked the path leading to the clearing's exit. The ground was strewn with debris, and the once-clear stream that meandered through the heart of the forest had churned into a foamy, muddy runoff.       — Great Spirits… — Moonpebble gasped, her voice barely audible over the noise of the rushing water and the crunch of the undergrowth. — What could have caused such destruction?       Barktail crouched, his nose twitching as he surveyed the damage.       — This is unnatural, — he declared, his tone heavy with conviction. — Something… or someone… has brought chaos to our doorstep.       The cat’s eyes flattened against her skull, a shiver racing down her spine.       — Do you think this is connected to the darkness you spoke of? — She asked, her voice trembling slightly.       The cat’s eyes flashed with fierce determination.       — I believe so. This feels like the first volley in a war we cannot afford to lose, — he straightened up, his posture commanding. — We must inform the other Clans at once. We must unite and prepare for battle.       Before Moonpebble could respond, a bone-chilling wail pierced the air, sending shivers down her spine.       The wail grew louder, taking on a haunting, mournful quality that made the cat’s fur crawl. It was like nothing she had ever heard before — a primal, agonizing cry that seemed to come from the very depths of the forest.       Barktail’s eyes narrowed, the fur on his scruff standing on end.       — That creature is not of our world, — he muttered, his voice laced with unease. — Whatever it is, it’s getting closer.       The gray cat’s heart hammered faster as the sound drew near, echoing off the trees and tearing through the air. Suddenly, something massive burst from the undergrowth, scattering leaves and branches in every direction.
