Ruca had survived the nightmare of forced army, stopped the end of the world, and managed to graduate in the process, but there was always something that filled him with a fierce excitement that almost made his knees buckle. And most often, it was Iria and Spada who evoked this feeling, each time they'd thought up something "interesting". And not always with the intention of teasing… Sometimes they genuinely thought they were acting for the good.
This time, however, everything was completely different. And more than consciously. Iria had painstakingly prepared everything before inviting Ruca over. As best she could.
'It's so girlish…' she mused, assessing her efforts. 'Oh well! Considering Ruca's softness, it'll do just fine for him!' she smirked at her thoughts, anticipating. She'd been working hard, first and foremost, for herself.
At the appointed time and place, Ruca met Iria. They whiled away the time with casual conversation, light banter, and a pleasant stroll. Iria led them through colorful landscapes filled with fragrant flowers and sprawling trees, birds chirping among their rustling foliage: after a cold winter, the world was blossoming, filled with life after a long hibernation. All sorts of desires arose... In any case, Iria fervently hoped that spring had had its effect on Ruca, too. Perhaps she had misjudged the scale of the disaster. After all, Ruca often either didn't understand explicit hints or shyly shrank away.
However, this time, Ruca made no attempt to avoid the embarrassing topic. Nor did he stand with his back to her revealing cleavage, steadfastly glancing at it out of the corner of his eye, blushing.
'Has he really grown up?' Iria thought hopefully.
So much time had passed. Ruca actively helped her with the school's construction, they discussed the future, sometimes seemingly unaware how it was becoming a shared one. But Ruca still made no attempt to get closer… At one point, Iria even thought that something was wrong with her.
Ruca's excitement grew significantly as they approached Iria's house. They entered. The heavily curtained windows blocked out sunlight, so only the candles Iria had hastily lit allowed them to glimpse the interior. The floor and table were strewn with delicate petals, their colors difficult to discern. The table was simply but neatly set.
Taking a deep breath, holding it briefly, Ruca slowly released it, along with all his worries. He didn't want to ruin Iria's mood. On the contrary, he wanted to do everything possible to ensure her satisfaction. Especially since she had already done so much, and he hadn't even prepared anything for her... He kept putting off the important moment, trying to control his cowardly nature. So Ruca smiled knowingly at Iria, thanking her.
Dinner was quiet. Even Iria found it difficult to speak in such a setting. But she was amazed at Ruca's boldness, trying to maintain a short conversation.
Leaving the table, Ruca offered Iria his hand like a true gentleman. In that moment—truly magical!—they were so close. The dim light added to the atmosphere. And despite his heart pounding, stirring excitement and panic, Ruca dared to kiss her. Iria didn't resist. She was afraid she'd never get it…
…She wasn't ready for this. Gentle embraces, touches of hands, teasing, adding a thrill of sensation without any vulgarity. Ruca wasn't just kissing. He was immersing her in a whole new world of sensations. Someone from whom she'd never expected such skills.
"How…? Where…?" she tried to formulate the thought, completely lost for words by the stunning kiss and her surprise. "Where did you learn this?"
'Am I really not your first!?'
It was hard to believe, but such skills couldn't be innate. However…
'Asura…?'
"Well… Actually, I've been wanting to confess to you for a long time…" Ruca still had trouble with intimate conversations. "I like you. But I have absolutely no idea how to act around girls. And when I'm nervous, I become completely clumsy and useless. So I asked Ange for advice, and she gave me a few…"
'Lessons!?' Iria was alarmed.
"…Books and instructions."
"You… learned to kiss like that… from books?"
"Well, yes…" Ruca hesitated, looking away, embarrassed. "I also practiced on tomatoes and cherry stems."
Even though the danger had passed, Iria still blushed: Ange knew everything about them now! Then Iria suddenly stopped short, glancing sideways at Ruca.
'What other books did she give him?' she thought warily.
After all, if Ruca had learned to kiss like that simply by reading, what else could he do now? Armed with her wildest fantasies, Iria was completely overcome with embarrassment, looking at Ruca again in disbelief.
'And he looks like such an innocent boy!'
"It's probably too late to ask," Ruca laughed weakly. "But… will you date me?"
Iria rejoiced, trying not to show it outwardly. She had finally waited! She'd planned to ask Ruca directly after dinner, but he'd beat her to it! This was a true celebration for her. That's why her answer was especially loud:
"Yes!"
'Yes, you fool!' she almost said out loud, but she was afraid to scare Ruca off and ruin his momentum.
'But if he takes this long to propose…' she tempered her enthusiasm. 'It looks like I’ll have to take the development of our relationship into my own hands anyway!'
She was already prepared for this outcome. And the fact that her beloved was capable of learning in the most unexpected directions inspired her greatly.
