ㅤ Decus was indecently clingy. If he hadn't been so easy to manipulate, Alice would have gotten rid of him long ago in the most cruel way. No, she wouldn't have killed him: she wasn't that merciful. But sometimes she really needed a break from him... So Alice thought up various ways to temporarily rid herself of his annoying attention. 'He won't even know the difference,' she smirked at herself, swapping a bottle of one disgusting product for another no less foul-smelling. Oh, this belief in oneself, in one's own attractiveness, and in a dubious product that obviously didn't work! However, the one Alice slipped him actually had an effect.Almost instantly. Miraculously, Decus managed to catch Emil and Martha; he was close to defeating them. But he really wanted everything to be done beautifully… So before the final blow, he perfumed himself, renewing the foul odor capable of demotivating enemies. Human ones. The monsters had a different opinion. The first of them knocked Decus onto his back, furiously licking his face. The others tried to throw it off and take up the "licking position" themselves! They frankly didn't care about Marta and Emil. Just as Marta and Emil didn't care about Decus, so no one tried to save him, quietly disappearing from the battlefield. Decus also turned out to be no fool: while the monsters were fighting with each other to see who was more worthy of attention, the object of interest quickly rushed off wherever his eyes looked! Then the monsters had no time to squabble; they had to catch up with the guy. They ran like that for what seemed like an eternity, until Decus was covered in sweat. Unsure where he was, Decus sat down on a rock to rest. He hadn't exhausted himself like that in any of his training sessions. He'd worked hard, wanting to be worthy of Alice; after all, strength doesn't just happen! However, it was his honed endurance that saved him. Gradually coming to his senses, Decus noticed an unbearable stench—his natural smell, which he had long since become unaccustomed to. He generously sprayed himself with more perfume… Luckily, Decus had time to catch his breath, because the race against the close-knit horde of monsters began all over again. His blind belief that perfume could make every girl fall in love with him backfired: it led Alice to the idea of another scent, one that could attract other creatures. Monsters. And they were more susceptible to scents. ㅤ
