The headmaster, Daniil Markovich Gleikhengauz**, is a man in his mid—thirties, always neatly dressed in a blue jacket, white shirt, and formal trousers. Of average height, with a habit of remaining calm and confident. Despite his directorship, he still teaches physics — out of an old love for the subject and out of principle. Fortunately (or to the relief of many), ** is not in the same class as Valieva**. When the current eleventh graders were still in the eighth grade, Evgenia Armanovna Medvedeva, Kamila's homeroom teacher, asked Alina Ilnazovna Zagitova to take physics in her class. Zagitova agreed—without further questions—and has been teaching physics in 11A ever since, as well as in her own class, 11B, where she is the homeroom teacher. Not everyone was happy with this. The homeroom teacher of the 11th grade, **Evgeny Stanislavovich Semenenko**, once sincerely asked: — Alina, what's wrong with my class? In response, Zagitova silently picked up a broken Chinese porcelain vase from the floor. — Your student Andrey Mozalyov broke it. Do you have any idea how much it cost? Semenenko just chuckled approvingly and said that the accuracy of the throw is also a skill. After that, Zagitova slammed the door of the staff room and went to teach physics to a place where the vases at least sometimes lived to the end of the school year. --- ##11 "A" — "Adequate" **Homeroom teacher:** Evgenia Armanovna Medvedeva **The best friends of the class among the teachers:** Anna Stanislavovna Shcherbakova, Alina Ilnazovna Zagitova There are **20 students in the class** — 10 girls and 10 boys. ** Girls:** Sofia Akatieva, Adelia Petrosyan, Anna Frolova, Oksana Karaseva, Irina Petrova, Alexandra Trusova, Alyona Kostornaya, Kamila Valieva, Daria Usacheva, Victoria Streltsova. ** Boys:** Mark Kondratyuk, Ilya Petrov, Vasily Plotnikov, Kirill Kuptsov, Oleg Veshev, Igor Kalinin, Maxim Lesnevsky, Ivan Kozlov, Alexey Melnik, Alexander Borodov, nicknamed **The bearded man**. 11 "A" class is friendly and surprisingly warm. The relationship with the homeroom teacher is more like a caring mother's bond with her children than a standard school hierarchy. They know how to be supportive, joke around, and — most importantly — stop on time. It's not for nothing that the letter **"A"** means **"Adequate"** for them, and the students really try to match this. --- ##11 "B" — "Talkers" **Homeroom teacher:** Alina Ilnazovna Zagitova **The best friends of the class among the teachers:** Anna Stanislavovna Shcherbakova, Evgenia Armanovna Medvedeva The smallest graduating class of the school is **12 students**: 10 girls and 2 boys. ** Girls:** Veronika Zhilina, Alina Gorbacheva, Veronika Yametova, Ksenia Sinitsyna, Sofia Samodelkina, Elena Kostyleva (nickname — *The Walking Scandal*), Margarita Baziliuk, Polina Tsurskaya, Victoria Safonova (headman), Elizaveta Nugumanova. ** Boys:** Dmitry Aliyev (*The Great Khan*), Matvey Vetlugin. The class is noisy, lively and incredibly talkative. They love gossip, discussions, and endless dialogues about "nothing and everything at once." Three figures stand out in particular: Veronika Zhilina is a confident contender for the gold medal, as well as Margarita Baziliuk and Elena Kostyleva are eternal rivals. A relationship with Zagitova is built like with a ** best friend or an older sister **, who can laugh and look sternly — but always to the point. The letter **"B"** here stands proudly for **"Talkers"**. --- ##11 "D" — "Savages" **Homeroom teacher:** Evgeny Stanislavovich Semenenko **The best friends of the class among the teachers:** Alexey Valentinovich Zheleznyakov (choreographer), Daniil Markovich Gleichenhaus (physics), Eteri Georgievna Tutberidze (physical education), Dmitry Cherner (geography and history). There are **16 students in the class**: **15 boys and 1 girl**. ** Boys:** Peter Gumennik, Georgy Kunitsa, Makar Ignatov, Artur Danielyan, Grigory Fedorov, Vladislav Dikidzhi, Nikolai Ugozhaev, Gleb Lutfullin, Daniil Samsonov, Nikita Sarnovsky, Artyom Kovalev, Andrey Mozalev, Roman Savosin, Semyon Solovyov, Damir Cheripka. ** A girl:** Maya the Lame. This class is **completely unpredictable**. On one day, they are an organized, disciplined group with excellent academic performance. In the other, there is a real tribe of savages. Sometimes they argue about monarchy and communism with equal fervor. Sometimes they disrupt lessons. Semenenko's method is simple and legendary. — * Only overcoming. Only hardcore.* If there are problems with discipline, he can defiantly take props from the back room, jump on the table and declare himself the leader of the tribe, offering an "honest heroic duel." In practice, this ends with a gym, competitions, and a restored hierarchy. Once, back in the ninth grade, 11 "D" disrupted a physics lesson from Alina Zagitova. Semenenko stormed into the classroom, put things in order with his method and forced the rebels to apologize to the tearful teacher. *Shcherbakova, the "iron fairy," is especially respected by the class, right after her leader. Other teachers consider Semenenko's methods controversial. He answers simply: — * It works — don't touch it.* The letter ** "D"** here means **"Savages"**, and they wear this title with pride.
