________

Sukuna feels like shit, as always.   He hadn't even opened his eyes yet, but he could feel it. His muscles are sore and sore, his back is killing him, and there's a little spot somewhere on his leg that hurts so much, and damn, not that shit again.   "Son of a bitch!" Sukuna yells at no one in particular, opening her eyes. The sun shines for him through his window. He looks back.   There's a sound coming from your door. Megumi. And the bastard son of a bitch is smiling at him.   Your friend coughs mischievously and pretends he hasn't been smiling for a while. False. "What's up, Sukuna?"   "My fucking soulmate is an idiot and I'm sick of it, this is what's happening!" Sukuna honestly tells his roommate, gritting his teeth.    He sits down and pulls up his pajama pants. There is a purple spot on the sensitive skin just below the knee, as he knew there would be. He curses at the sight and rubs his eyes in frustration.  “It's as if he had a damn death wish, I swear to God, I'm going to be shit.”   Megumi laughs, because he is Satan and enjoys his friend's pain. "Stop being so dramatic. It's not like it hurts."   Sukuna frowns. He's right, of course. It didn't really hurt, but in a way, it did. It's like a memory of pain, like when you remember that you once fell out of a tree and how painful that was, and you shudder at the memory.    The pain remembered pales in comparison to the real pain. But Sukuna rolls his eyes at Megumi anyway, because he enjoys being a bitchy drama queen and also can't stop complaining about how accident-prone his soulmate is, wherever she is.    God, can Sukuna just meet him so he can hit him over the head?   “Of course it hurts”, Sukuna argues. "My soulmate is out there getting hurt and I'm not there to kiss her to get better." Before Megumi can open her mouth again, probably to comment on how stupid Sukuna is, Sukuna points an accusatory finger at him.    "Just shut up. Stop flaunting the fact that you've already met your soulmate. Fuck you."   Megumi's smile gets bigger and wait, is that an evil gleam in her deep blue eyes? "He's coming today, by the way."   "Oh, well," Sukuna grumbles, sliding out of bed. "My cue to leave."   "You don't have to. Satoru already thinks you don't like him that much, don't encourage his theories."   "I don't hate him. I hate you both. As a unit, which is what you are."    Sukuna takes a pair of pants from the dresser and puts them on, without bothering to shower. He checks his reflection in the mirror. Your hair is only 63% uncooperative. He can live with that.   It's not like he's going to find his soulmate today .   His back muscles are still sore and tight, so when he puts on his black t-shirt, he shudders. Seriously.    Whoever did this business and decided that soulmates would get the same injuries from each other could fuck off, honestly, this is such an inconvenient and painful idea.    Especially for people like him, who apparently have a suicidal wannabe as a soulmate. He would hate his soulmate just for that, because Sukuna has paler skin now, so the bruises stand out a lot, but he can't.    It is physically impossible for him to hate his soulmate because: A) He or She is your soulmate and B) He has never met you. When he considers himself presentable, Sukuna says goodbye to his roommate and leaves the apartment, not bothering to wait for an answer. He briefly wonders where he should go today. …   Beef burgers. Definitely a Burger Shop. But first, he'd like to get a caffeine fix. Because besides being his addiction he still felt a little sleepy.    Luckily there's a quaint little cafe he likes to frequent, because not many people go there and they make his coffee exactly the way he likes it, so with that in mind he goes out, whistling a song that stuck in his head for some reason.    Sukuna doesn't actively search for his soulmate most days, so he ponders whether it's his own fault he's suffering so much (both physically and emotionally).    He doesn't even know what this person looks like, except maybe she has some sadistic/masochistic condition, because seriously, who gets hurt so much?    He doesn't even know if it's him or her. He wouldn't mind anyway. Gender is irrelevant when it comes to the love of your life, in his opinion.   He's at the coffee shop before he even registers, and the barista, his friend Maki, greets him happily. "Sukuna! I haven't seen you in a while."   Sukuna manages to return a weak smile as he approaches the counter. "I have wallowed in isolation and sadness."   Maki gives him a nice look. "Still no luck, huh?"   Sukuna shrugs. He really doesn't want to talk about it. At least, not with Maki. She's a good friend, almost like a real sister, but she doesn't understand. She found her soulmate when she was sixteen. She and Yuta have been practically married ever since.    Sukuna couldn't deny how jealous he was. But at the same time, he is genuinely happy for them. At least, if Maki woke up with bruises, she could ask Yuta how she got them.   “The usual?” Asks Maki, but not exactly, because he already knows the answer. Sukuna takes his grateful cup after Maki prepares it for him and goes to sit in his favorite booth, the cozy one in the corner where he can see people passing by the windows and judge them silently.   Sukuna sees a couple kissing under a tree and automatically frowns.    Fix a fucking room, he means, but there's a bigger part of him screaming WHY CAN'T I HAVE THIS.    He's 27 now, for God's sake. Twenty-seven years of searching for your accident-prone soulmate with no such luck. He is convinced that his soulmate is actually a psychopath and should not be with him.    Or maybe he's not looking hard enough. He takes a miserable sip of coffee, mumbling as he looks away from the vomiting couple, and then tenses when he sees the annoying one.   Albino white head, Gojo Satoru. The guy's hair is very easy to spot, Gojo himself is easy to spot, and he doesn't really hate Gojo, not really, but seeing him makes Sukuna so jealous of his friend that there's a bit of contempt growing in him.    He could see Gojo walking into their apartment, probably, and he had his mouth open and his arms gesturing wildly and, oh, he was talking to someone. Okay, that makes sense. He has a clearer but brief view of pink hair before seeing them enter Sukuna's building.    He's almost as tall a guy as Gojo. Maybe another model? Gojo says something to him again, and then Sukuna sees the guy laugh, and damn, Sukuna's eyes widen because his stomach suddenly turns before Gojo and his mysterious friend completely disappear from his eyes.   "What the fuck was that?" He mutters to himself, holding his Styrofoam cup. Was this some reflection of not liking Gojo Satoru so much that it affects whoever he interacts with? Was that a good or bad turnaround? He couldn't figure it out. He looked again at the entrance to the building, then at the coffee cup, and then at the window. Sukuna can see his reflection in him.   He is startled when he finds a bruise he didn't see this morning, a small purple spot on his neck, just below where his jaw met his ear. Sighing, Sukuna curses her soulmate mentally for the millionth time and takes a sip of coffee, ignoring the remembered pain.     …     Back at the apartment, Megumi frowns as she glances sideways at the instructions on the back of the pancake mix. He promised that one day he would make pancakes for himself and decided that morning that day would be today.    Megumi can't cook anything, but he loves Gojo, so he's willing to sacrifice his kitchen and his eyebrows, or any other part of it that might be accidentally burned.    Sukuna is always there to cook for them, but he's not here to save himself if things don't go well. He doesn't have a plan B, but he's sure Gojo will eat whatever the outcome. Hopefully, it will be edible. At least.   There's a knock on the door that Megumi assumes is Gojo, so he just yells, "Come in!" and returns to the pancake batter riddle. But when the door opens, he hears a laugh that is definitely not Gojo's, and he fears for his life for a total of two seconds before hearing his soulmate's voice say:  "You're an idiot, you know that, right, Yuu?"   The guy Megumi assumes is Yuu laughs again. "I'm getting desperate, man."   Megumi ditches pancake mix to take a look at who the hell Gojo brought with him, who is apparently a desperate idiot.    When Megumi appears in Gojo's line of sight, the one in white immediately lights up and completely forgets this Yuu, closing the distance between them and taking Megumi's face in his hands and kissing him.   Megumi's soul lights up in response. He makes a happy noise in the back of his throat, on tiptoe, and slides his hands down Gojo's sides, wrapping him around his neck.   “Gojo, you promised,” Yuji whimpers. "Don't rub it in my face that I'm a depressed loser who's going to die alone."   Gojo grunts, which, roughly translated, means ‘ Fuck and let me kiss my beautiful boyfriend because I love him and no one cares about his existence , Yuu’ . Megumi hums accordingly.   Finally, the couple separates, breathless and dizzy. Megumi smiles stupidly at Gojo and slides her arm around his waist before they stare at Yuji again, who only stares at them sadly.   "Sorry," Megumi says, though she's not at all sorry.   “No, you're not sorry,” Yuji says blankly.   Megumi smiles again.  "I really am not. By the way, my name is Fushiguro Megumi."    He extends his free hand to Yuji, who nevertheless squeezes it with good humor.   "I know. Gojo can't shut up about you. I'm Itadori Yuji, because I'm sure you've never heard of me, considering how Gojo physically can only think and talk about ‘Megumi-chan'."   “Both things are true”, Gojo says, smiling. Then he turns to Megumi with a worried expression on his face.    "I'm sorry to bring him in, he was having a bad day, and I'm afraid he'll get into some stupid shit again because the guy is suicidal, but if you want, I can totally get rid of him, don't be mad at me, love!"   "Wow, what a way to make me feel better, Gojo," Yuji interrupts dryly.   Megumi squeezes Gojo's cheek with affection.  "Okay." Then he turns to Yuji. "Are you suicidal, Itadori?"   “He's exaggerating, but I'm starting to question myself”, Yuji responds sincerely.   "Why?"   Yuji rolls his eyes at the same time as another snorts. “The questions of the heart,” Gojo answers for him.   “Oh,” Megumi says, thinking of Sukuna. He totally understands. "No luck, huh?"   Yuji makes an exasperated sound.  “It's like I'm going out, meeting people every day, I'm on every damn dating site out there, I'm looking, man, but they're nowhere to be found and it's getting really frustrating because I just want to love someone and buy dinner and watch movies and have amazing, mind-blowing sex every day.”   "Wow. How specific," notes Megumi. Yuji throws his hands in the air before falling onto the battered sofa. "I will die alone. I'll never find him." "Hey, come on, don't give up hope," Megumi says boldly, because he's a much better friend than Gojo, even though he's only known Yuji for six minutes.    "It will happen. Stop trying so hard." Yuji snorts again.  "I wish I could. But, like, I fucking feel him. Do you know what it's like? He's outside." Megumi raises an eyebrow. "Do you know he's a guy?"   "I... I'm not sure, but I feel like he is. Somehow. And he's out there. Waiting for me."    Yuji is blushing now, suddenly looking away from Gojo and Megumi. At that moment the couple could feel how sad he really is, how much he wants to find his soulmate.    They exchange sympathetic glances before joining Yuji on the couch, sitting one on either side of him and hugging him through some kind of complex understanding that Yuji needs a hug.   “Oh no, come on guys, I'm fine”, Yuji says, although his voice falters at the end.   "Do you want anything, Yuji?" Gojo says, patting Yuji on the knee.   "Coffee? I haven't been getting enough sleep either," he says sadly.   "I'll get you some," Megumi says, getting up from the couch to make him a cup of coffee.    As he stirs the hot mug, he ponders Yuji's love problems and how he's helping him when this morning he was laughing in Sukuna's face.    Oh, well, that was different. Sukuna was complaining about her back problems and Yuji was complaining about never finding the love of her life. Yuji had his priorities in check, as Sukuna never actively sought out his soulmate.   Megumi comes back and finds Itadori's head on Gojo's shoulder and Megumi smiles at herself because she loves her boyfriend so much and is a very good person no matter what anyone tells her.    Megumi is so absorbed in loving Gojo, however, that she doesn't notice the copy of a magazine lying haphazardly on the floor, and of course he trips over it, and of course he was holding a steaming cup of coffee that tragically spills into Yuji's lap.   "Holy shit!" Yuji screams, jumping off the couch.   "Oh my God, sorry, man!"   "It's okay, it's just... oh fuck, this is hot." Yuji frowns at himself. "Is it okay if I take off my pants?"   “Feel free, it's my fault anyway”, Megumi says, muttering another apology. He looks at the coffee stain on the carpet.    ‘Man, Sukuna is going to be so pissed..’   Yuji knowingly unbuckles his belt, but knows he's fine around Gojo and Megumi, who literally only see each other.    He bent down to take them off, soon feeling his back crack immediately, causing him to let out another scream.   "What is it? Did you have second degree burns? Oh no, you had it, didn't you..."   Yuji interrupts Megumi before an aneurysm can develop in her brain. "No, it's just my back."   Megumi pauses. "Your back?" He looked at his boyfriend who was making a face.    "Like I said, dear. Suicidal. If you played in a mosh pit . Now, I blame myself in part for giving you those show tips," Gojo explains.   "It was a good idea at the time. And I was very drunk. But I had fun."   Gojo and Yuji keep arguing about whether Yuji's adventures are cool or just plain stupid, but Megumi is too busy thinking to really notice the conversation, because he's looking at Yuji but thinking about Sukuna, and he's looking at Yuji's bare legs and even though his skin is kind of tanned, you can still see a small purple spot on his leg and the fact that Yuji apparently has a death wish, according to Gojo.   He's seen that horrible bruise before and it was on his friend's fucking leg this morning.   "You two shut up," Megumi says, a little forcefully. He's still staring at Yuji's leg, working on the gears of his brain.   "Sweetie, are you... are you staring at Yuji? And in front of me?" Gojo whispers in disbelief, a little jealousy seeping into his voice.   Megumi ignores him. "Itadori. Please turn around."   "Where?"   "Turn around so I can see the back of your neck. I just need to check something, okay?"   Yuji looks at Gojo, who just shrugs, before turning around. Megumi approaches to inspect her neck and tenses when she sees exactly what she needs to see: a small triangular dot near her ear.    He taps lightly and Yuji shudders. "I, uh, cut myself while trying to shave my own head. Long story. I was going through a difficult time."   Gojo concluded: “Your whole life is a difficult time”.   At this hour Megumi isn't even listening anymore. He's got his eyes closed and his mind made up. Yes, he's a genius, and he was already rummaging through his pocket looking for the phone with his new discovery.   “Baby, what's going on?" Gojo asks, but Megumi doesn't listen. Sukuna answers on the second ring. “Maybe the cheeseburger is my soulmate”, Your complaint is the first thing it says to Megumi.   "Stop talking and come here now!"   "Hmm. OK. What the fuck?"   "Sukuna, I'm not kidding, you need to get home now because he is here, oh my god, he's sitting here on the couch being an idiot just like you. He's here! but you're not, you Subuxa."   "He is... who?" Sukuna asks, even though his heart is already beating irrationally and he is leaving his cabin. “ He is here” ?    "Megumi…" he says again, but the phone is already dead, and Sukuna's heartbeat is so loud he can hear it in his ears and, damn, suddenly he can't walk fast enough.    He starts running, ignoring Maki calling out to him. As soon as he leaves, he starts running, because, shit, he feels that and the certainty about it. Megumi doesn't joke.   Their back pain and bruises are tingling again, like they know they're near their original source or something, but damn, it's making Sukuna so excited, this remembered pain flooding his mind.    This practically makes him run as fast as his tiredness and the sleepy body could allow him to do so, until he was outside the door of his apartment, taking a deep breath. Inside, Megumi points at Yuji. "Open the door."   "What?" And at the same time Sukuna knocks on the door in anger, so of course Yuji is scared. "Wow. Who is this?"   Megumi shakes her head and goes to sit next to Gojo, laying her head on her boyfriend's shoulder. "Just understand, Yuji."   Yuji looks at the couple cautiously, before walking to the apartment entrance and opening the door, he sees... ‘ah. Oh’ . So that's what happened when he saw him a while ago.  Sukuna looks for two seconds longer and sees a bruise on the beautiful Yuji's neck, just below the spot where his beautiful chin finds its beautiful ears, and he lightly touches his own bruise.    Then he shakes his head and says, “You stupid son of a bitch”, and then takes Yuji's face in his hands and kisses him.   Yuji doesn't question anything because this beautiful guy is kissing him and he knows it's him.    ‘E ele, e ele.’  Yuji runs his arms around Sukuna's waist, pulling him closer and deepening the kiss, tilting his head for better access.    ‘Damn, it tastes like coffee and magic ,’ Yuji thought to himself as his tongue skirted Sukuna's lips and dived into his mouth shyly.   Sukuna makes a happy noise in the back of his throat and kisses him harder, running his fingers through the other man's hair and moaning during the kiss. ‘ Oh my god, it's happening’ , he thought.   They would have lasted forever, but unfortunately humans need oxygen to continue to survive, so they parted, breathless and dizzy, with smiles so wide it even hurt.    Sukuna kind of tripped when Yuji pulled him into the apartment and closed the door behind him, still hugging.   “It's you,” Yuji says in awe, his eyes landing on the bruise on Sukuna's neck.   "And it's you, you crazy little shit, why do you always get hurt so much?"    Sukuna thought he should be angry, but damn, his soulmate is the most beautiful thing that has ever appeared in the world and he already wants to start living the rest of his life with him.   Yuji laughs, rubbing his nose on Sukuna's neck. "Sorry, I thought it would be easier to look for you. I mean, it's not every day you see someone with the same bruises, right?"   "What, until you accidentally kill us both?" Sukuna whispered, closing her eyes with the new sensations bubbling in her system as Yuji kissed her neck softly.   Yuji hummed a little, a sexy, deep sound, and Sukuna is practically ready to get down on one knee and give his beautiful soulmate the best blowjob of his life when they are interrupted by Megumi coughing not so subtly on the couch.   "I'm going to finish you off, Megumi," Sukuna says seriously.   "I'm hurt, Sukuna. I brought you together," he replies indignantly.   "And now I want you out of the fucking apartment so I can spend time with-" Sukuna looks at Yuji expectantly.   “Itadori Yuji,” the boy responds, smiling.   "Yuji," Sukuna repeats dreamily and her newest companion leans in for another kiss.   "Okay, we're leaving. Ah. Just a reminder, I brought you here, Sukuninha," Gojo says, rolling her eyes and pouting as she hands Yuji's pants back to him.   Sukuna looks at Yuji's pants and then his legs, only then realizes that Yuji is half-naked and noticing that he officially has the most beautiful legs in human history.    "Why aren't you wearing pants?" he asks Yuji.   “He spilled coffee on me”, he explains, pointing his thumb at Megumi.   Sukuna turns to Megumi, inexplicably irritated for some reason. "What the fuck, man!"   "It was an accident, right Satoru?" He said, looking in complicity at the man with the white hair to defend him.    "Exactly. My Little Megum is not a violent person.”   Sukuna opens her mouth, but closes it again. "Yeah, shit, I felt that, earlier in the coffee shop, I thought it was just a weird burn-"   Yuji is smiling wildly, taking Sukuna's hands and sliding them into his. "I'm fine. Don't worry too much. You're- uh- We're together. I can't believe I found you…"    He is openly blushing and babbling and it is the most adorable thing Sukuna has seen in his life he doesn't even notice Megumi and Gojo saying goodbye and disappearing out the door.   "And now we're alone," Yuji whispers, then pulls Sukuna onto his couch as Sukuna blindly follows him, feeling vaguely like a baby deer.   “Sim,” Sukuna diz nervously.   Yuji smiles, because he already loves this guy so much. "By the way, what the fuck is your name?"   “Porra, sim, Ryomen Dayina”, ele diz em resposta, rindo.   “Hmm, Sukuna.” Yuji then smacks his lips at Sukuna's once more, savoring the magic, sparkles, and coffee again, and he lets out a low growl because he really doesn't like the fact that they're both wearing clothes now.   Yuji pushes Sukuna on the couch and they both moan, not in pleasure.  "My back," Sukuna whimpers, though she's kind of laughing.    "I swear to God, what did you do? "   “I jumped into a mosh pit”, Yuji says, burying his face in the curve of Sukuna's neck. He kisses the bruise there.    "I'm sorry about that too. It's never going to happen again, dear. I swear."   "You better not get hurt anymore. You're always making me sick and worried."   Yuji hesitates. "Actually, I, uh. Sometimes I, um, do it on purpose."   Sukuna looks at him cautiously. "Is this something I should know?"   This worried him, if Yuji had any kind of psychological condition, he would have to take care of and love his soulmate now.  Yuji's gaze was desperate, his eyes beautiful and wonderful watery. "It's just... it's the only way I can locate you. You're... I've been looking for you forever, I'm sorry, I was getting so desperate, I wanted to find you, for so long-"   Sukuna kisses him, partly to shut him up, mainly because it is the best kiss of the and would die if he did not kiss Yuji anymore. "You found me. No more intentional accidental injuries, okay?"   Yuji pauses and then winks at Sukuna with false innocence.  "Except when wild sex demands it, right?"   Sukuna blinked, because he's sure he'll never let go of Yuji again, seriously, he's going to die getting fucked for real, and that made him happy.    “If that's your thing, you crazy son of a bitch”, he laughs, and then brings Yuji closer again. “Yes”. They kiss again, and again.   Their sincere smiles were worth more than anything at this moment, nothing could pay for what they felt at this moment, and nothing could tear from their hearts.
