ㅤ It was truly foolish of Dr. Brown to leave the world's rarest device unguarded—the two thieves were grinning in anticipation of the legendary theft of the millennium. The "Dream", born of ancient technology, truly could work miracles, unlocking the possibility of time travel. "Easy peasy, Mom!" Ponnie and Clyte simply moved forward in time a bit—and it's done! "Well done, Dad!" They had in their hands the most priceless thing in the world. They themselves didn't fully comprehend its value. But… what next? They couldn't decide. After all, the thing was too bulky to lug around; thieves were supposed to carry their dark deeds lightly. Getting rid of the mysterious contraption didn't seem feasible either: they couldn't advertise it, or raise the price at auction, as it was unlikely they'd be able to sell it to anyone. After all, thieves aren't sellers, and time travel isn't common. And they weren't given much time to think about it when a mysterious couple in robes appeared. Their faces were hidden under hoods, and their voices sounded unnatural. But they were offering a hefty sum for the artifact. It was fate itself, no doubt! But only after parting with the device did they realize its value, the lost prospects. "Mom, it seems…" "…It’s not, Dad." They had made a mistake. A big mistake! The whole world and all times were in the palm of their hands, and they refused all the treasures offered to them, which no one could even dream of. And somehow they had to correct their mistake. The only question was: how? Such a big question. They tried to find buyers, but there was no trace of them. They followed Dr. Brown, who was tearing his hair out. Meanwhile, the world slowly but surely descended into chaos, transforming Dr. Brown into Dr. White. The world was in such dire straits that even Furio and Kyaro were having trouble retrieving a replica of the device from yet another ancient ruin. Ponnie and Clyte were forced to show uncharacteristic generosity and help the pair. A good deed for one's own good is still a good deed. All that remained was to wait for the doctor to breathe life into another "Dream". And he did! And he'd made a fool of himself again, giving the thieves a full night to successfully steal it. It was vital they return to the moment before the deal to buy back the first "Dream" themselves! They were in such a hurry that Pony accidentally activated the autopilot with her hip as she exited. Having said goodbye to the empty space left by the second "Dream", the couple exchanged glances. "You know, Mom?" "…I don't want to know, Dad." They had made another mistake, thinking simultaneously: 'Why should we even buy the first device when we could use the second one for free…?' But it was too late: "Dream 2" was lost in time. All that remained was to act according to the original plan. Ponnie and Clyte changed into cheap robes, found themselves, and used all their acting skills in an attempt to hide their identities. Only to hand over the very money they had received for the first "Dream". "I think, Mom…" "…Better not think, Dad." They realized the trap they had created for themselves, having already traveled back to ancient times, full of legends and treasures countless and costly. They hatched cunning plans, each more elegant than the last. And they didn't realize that their greed was bringing the world to the brink. But thinking was not their strong point in principle… ㅤ
