It’s cold, — this forgotten abandoned place, Hidden under so much defence… To be honest, there is no chance That you’ll be on time: that’s why I turned my face Away. Hopefully, you’ll understand and forgive. (I’m so used to the light that you give…) Playing with toxic words, making those crazy people See the reddest red, Spill all the hatred On me. I pretend to be fearless as if I don’t care at all, As if this stupid and spoilt soul Doesn’t remember how big and warm the sun may be If someone helps it to see: to look above and tear the eyesight off dark charms, You are carrying this light — invisible — with your arms, So muscular and protective, Even with someone broken (a bit defective). And now, while bleeding with ugly stains, — spreading on this white jacket As rainy drops, — I’m dreaming of catching the last ray Of yours To make it somehow through my last day Of curse.
