Chapter 2: The Blue Sky Alarm Flares

Settings
Having forgotten everything for a moment, Aisha unwittingly smiled at the scene. It didn’t matter if the Misters were looking at her, or if it was just a play of light and shadow - she liked to feel that fleeting attention. The music of "Sanji Boys" once again took hold of her heart, driving away the dark thoughts. The energy of the dance, the solidarity of the fans, the bright show - she wanted to forget about her past for at least a few hours and just enjoy this moment. But the idyll was not destined to last long. Suddenly, someone brusquely pushed her in the shoulder. Aisha, losing her balance, almost fell, instinctively raising her hand to hold on. Turning around, she saw a guy in front of her, also a fan of "Sanji Boys". He was taller than her, with an aggressive expression and piercing in the ear. He didn’t even think about apologizing. On the contrary, his eyes were full of irritation. -Watch where you’re going, chicken! he roared, his voice muffled by the music, but the meaning was clear. Aysha swallowed her lip, containing her anger. There was something inside of her - not only anger, but also fear. If she did not control herself, her demonic essence could break out, and that would be a disaster. -Sorry, she muttered, trying not to get into a conflict. But the guy wasn’t going to stop. -You’re blocking my view, get out of here! he continued rudely, his words were filled with contempt. Aysha was ready to answer, but her friend, sitting next to her, intervened in time. -It’s all right, don’t pay attention,' she whispered, grabbing her hand. Her voice sounded anxious. -He’s just too excited about the concert. Let’s not ruin our evening. Aicha took a deep breath and tried to calm down. " Yeah, this idiot is obviously pissed off, but when you go out I’ll deal with you." She knew her friend was right. I shouldn’t have wasted my energy on this ruffian. Now it was more important to keep control over yourself and not attract unnecessary attention. But the incident left a bad impression. It was as if he had sobered her back into reality. She is a runaway demon, and her past will always haunt her, even in such a harmless place as a K-pop concert. The incident also reminded her of a "scene" - where she can show herself, but also where other people can see her. She tried to focus on the music, but the boy’s words, his rude look, kept coming back to her. She felt unprotected, vulnerable. It seemed to her that everyone was looking at her with suspicion about her secret. Anxiety, like a worm, gnawed at her from the inside. She knew that her carefree life was over. Now she will have to live in constant fear, looking around and waiting for a blow to the back. She tried to focus on the music, but the boy’s words, his rude look, kept coming back to her. The light of the lyceum still flickered in the rhythm of the music, the hall was buzzing with energy, but for Aisha everything had gone black. In the azure cloud of her happiness there was a light of anxiety, foreshadowing the coming storm. After the concert, Aisha and her friend shared their experiences. The energy of the "Sanji Boys" performance was still buzzing in their blood, making them forget all adversity. They interrupted each other, listing the highlights of the show: incredible choreography, amazing vocals and, of course, charisma each of the participants. But the idyll was broken again. Passing by, they were overtaken by the same guy who roughed up Ayche in the hall. He snuck up under his nose, throwing a scornful look at them, and walked on as if they were something nasty stuck to his shoes. Aysha clenched her fists. Before that she tried to ignore it, but this was the last straw. She couldn’t stand the rudeness and impunity any longer. Something inside of her demanded an answer. -Leave him, Aisha - tried to calm her friend, feeling the tension. - It is not worth wasting your time on him. But Aisha was adamant. -No, I will not let it go - she said firmly, and, catching the frightened look of her friend, added: -I must put him in his place. And before the friend had time to say anything, Aisha broke off and ran after the boy. Adrenaline again swept her away, mingling with anger and determination. When she caught up with him, she waited for a moment until he was far enough away from the other passers-by, and yelled loudly: -Hey, there you go! The boy paused and slowly turned around. He had a look of arrogant irritation on his face. Aisha, gasping for breath, approached him. She straightened the hair that had come out of her hair, and one of them, falling on her forehead, slightly closed her view. She mechanically pushed her back, running her hand through the hair. At that moment, for a fraction of a second, on the back side of her hand, as well as on her fingers, there were ominous symbols - pale, purple claws, which seemed to be an extension of her own fingers. It was the claws of a demon, part of her true self that she tried so desperately to hide. Noticing the confusion on the boy’s face, Aisha lowered her hand, clawing back. A cold gleam appeared in her eyes. -Ready to answer me again? she asked, her voice sounding ominously low. She was no longer the nice and timid girl who trembled before a concert. Now he had someone else in front of him, someone dangerous and unpredictable.
