Where it all started

For centuries, a lone girl stood as the sole protector of a world besieged by ravenous demons, creatures that relentlessly devoured human souls and bodies. Her arduous defense continued until a pivotal moment: three girls, whose enchanting voices and songs captivated humanity, conjured a powerful barrier over the land. This formidable shield, later named Honmun, became an impenetrable defense against soul-devouring demons. However, demons that feasted on flesh could still exist within the barrier, though their presence was restricted to the night.
To combat these remaining nocturnal entities, an organization was established, swiftly extending its roots across the globe. This formidable group was founded by the very girl who had championed the world's defense for so long. She had previously nurtured the vocal talents of the three maidens who created Honmun, and in the years that followed, she diligently helped new hunters hone their strengths.
Remarkably, the girl herself was a demon, one capable of consuming souls. Yet, she had broken free from the dominion of their sinister king, Gwi Ma. She held a profound belief that not all demons desired human demise. However, their kings ruthlessly suppressed such free will, either slaying them for their defiance or driving them to madness by corrupting their minds and thoughts. Recognizing this grim reality, she granted them the only solace possible: death, for only in demise could their torment cease.
Her immortal nature necessitated constant relocation. People, being perceptive, would invariably notice her unchanging appearance. While makeup could simulate aging, her body remained unaltered, unlike that of mortals. Early in her existence, she would quickly form attachments to places and the people inhabiting them, but painful experience taught her that such bonds only brought greater sorrow with each move or the inevitable deaths of those she cherished. Consequently, she learned to live without attachment, neither to people nor to locations. After a few decades, when those who knew her in a particular place were gone, no one would question her ageless physique.
In later years, her life became significantly easier with the advent of plastic surgery. Should questions arise about her unchanging appearance, she could simply attribute it to expensive cosmetic procedures. Having produced numerous successful musical groups over her long life, she possessed immense wealth, ensuring that the cost and frequency of these "operations" raised no eyebrows.
The thriving music business also became an unexpected catalyst for the growth of the demon-hunting organization. They established hotels and hospitals that served as second homes for their hunters, who rarely had the luxury of visiting their own residences due to their demanding missions.
The mantle of leadership within this organization is inherited by a family of seers, burdened by a curse that decrees their demise at a young age. Upon ascending to their position, these leaders learn about the enigmatic woman who founded their organization and initiate communication with her. In turn, she imparts wisdom on how to govern effectively, assists in resolving critical issues, and tenderly cares for their children. She holds a deep affection for these young ones, seeing them as the most vulnerable, unburdened by the horrors this world had endured.
Thus, the extraordinary life of this girl unfolded and continues. Over countless years, navigating this world, she has adopted so many names and identities that she herself often loses track. Once more, she has changed her name and begun packing her belongings, preparing to move to Korea. Her destination is the very place where the great Honmun originated—a city where a new concert is set to take place, featuring the demon-hunting group known as "Huntrix."
