Even during the day, the hallway was dark, so there was a lamp on. And this is not a description of the main character's apartment, which should appear. This story will be about the lamp from the first sentence. The sad story of this lamp, which could living a long time. The horror she saw every day significantly shortened her life. But what was that horror that killed the poor guy? The lamp, bought in some kind of Baucenter, was no different from other lamps. Together with everyone, she was waiting for the moment when people would buy it and put it in their apartment. It happened. And the lamp turned out to be in an ordinary and modest, but clean two-bedroom apartment in one neighborhood of the westernmost city in the country. The lamp was happy with its life, but up to one point... The child of the people who bought the lamp suffered from mild acne, but it was terrible to see the poor guy's face unpainted. And it would be fine if the lamp was in the parents' room, where the child almost never went. But no, the lamp was in the hallway next to a cabinet with a mirror, in front of which the child usually smeared his face with all kinds of creams and bazirons. Every day, the poor lamp saw the face of this poor child. Every day she saw a monster that looked like it had escaped from a horror movie. The lamp was tolerated and was no longer happy that this family had bought it. But one day, when the teenager went back to the mirror in the hallway, the lamp, seeing this face, could not stand it and went out forever. People were upset, but not too much. They planned to buy a new lamp, and send the old one to the place where they send everything that is not needed or out of order – to the trash.
