Meanwhile, Jackie had been racing against time, piecing together the clues that led him to the Dark Hand's lair. With Jade and Uncle by his side, they had tracked down every lead, each step bringing him closer to Pemuya. His heart ached with every moment she was in Shendu's clutches, but he pushed on, fueled by love and determination. Finally, they arrived at the warehouse, the very place where Pemuya was being held. The trio approached with caution, adrenaline pumping through their veins. The sound of Pemuya's cries grew louder as they approached the chamber, steeling their resolve. Jackie kicked the door open, his eyes blazing with fury. The sight of Valmont atop Pemuya sent a white-hot rage through him. He didn't hesitate; he lunged at the demon-possessed body, his fists flying. But Shendu threw him away with ease. "It's already over," he hissed contentedly. "I had your wife's body. Does it hurt, Chan?" Jackie's eyes widened in horror, and his rage grew even more intense. "You bastard!" he roared, charging at Valmont again. Shendu cackled, his eyes gleaming with malevolence. "Your anger is delicious, but futile," he taunted as Jackie's blows barely phased him. "Want a piece of Uncle?" Uncle yelled, tapping Valmont's shoulder to make Shendu turn around. Shendu did, and Uncle painted something on Valmont's forehead swiftly. "What the..." Valmont mumbled, his eyes turning blue. "This sign," Uncle said slowly, "will hold Shendu from awakening. So we'll have time to make him leave your body for good. You want it, yes?" Valmont stumbled back, his hand reaching for the symbol. "Don't touch it!" Uncle snapped. "You'll blur it. The paint is fresh." Jackie took advantage of the distraction, his fist connecting with Valmont's jaw, sending the demon-possessed man staggering back. Pemuya scrambled away, her eyes wide with shock and fear. "Jackie!" Uncle yelled. "Get your anger inside you. You're beating a defenseless man!" Jackie paused, his fists clenched tightly, his breath coming in ragged gasps. He looked at Pemuya, her eyes wide with terror, and realized that Shendu was no longer in control. It was just his own anger, his own desire for vengeance that had driven him to attack. "I do want that demon out of me," Valmont panted, rubbing his jaw. "And I'm not responsible for what he did through my body, Chan." Jackie's rage cooled slightly, and he nodded, understanding the struggle within Valmont. "I know," he said gruffly. "Uncle, you take care of Shendu. I have more important things to do." Pemuya looked at Jackie with hope in her eyes. He was here, she was safe. She reached out to him, her hand shaking. "Jackie," she whispered. "Let's get you home," he said quickly. "Here, take the invisibility talisman. I'm going to call a taxi, and no one should see you naked and... in this state." Pemuya nodded, taking the talisman with trembling hands. She focused her energy and the talisman's power enveloped her, making her invisible. He turned back to Valmont, whose eyes were now clear of Shendu's influence. "You will pay for what you've done," he growled. "I told you it wasn't me!" Valmont snapped. "It was Shendu. I would never rape anyone." Jackie's fists tightened, but he knew that Uncle was right. He couldn't let his anger control him. He had to save Pemuya. "Call a taxi," Jade said, her voice gentle but firm. "We'll handle this." Jackie nodded. With a heavy heart, he stepped aside, making the call.
