"Everything that once felt eternal is crumbling. The world I knew collapsed like a house of cards in the wind..."

Nathaniel Roark: A Brief Historical Note and Surface View of the Man
A middle-aged man, born and raised in Florida, USA. He lived in a quiet part of Miami—Westchester—in a modest one-bedroom apartment near a park and a shopping center, with a couple of 24-hour stores within walking distance. Like many, Nathaniel worked in an office, performing routine duties in the marketing department of a large corporation. His days were predictable, his dreams—distant.
Writing, for him, was more than just a hobby. It was an attempt to escape the dull greyness of daily life. He wrote articles, essays, and stories, sending them to various editors, only to receive standard rejection letters. Still, he never gave up. There was a quiet melancholy in his words, but also a sharp insight—a view from the sidelines of a society edging closer to the abyss.
By October 2025, he began to feel a strange unease. It wasn’t a clear sense of impending doom—more like the unsettling feeling that something fundamental was going wrong. News feeds overflowed with alarming headlines, and his journals increasingly reflected thoughts about "the second-to-last day."

They called it "The Voice of the East."
The world didn’t immediately grasp what it had heard.
The Arab Union—later referred to in GPC reports as the "Islamic Conglomerate" (Al-Ittihad al-Islami)—issued a statement that echoed across all continents. Amid the prolonged war in Ukraine, Russia openly aligned itself with the Conglomerate. It was predictable, yet somehow still felt impossible.
Israel became the primary target.
Media erupted like a dry forest in August: accusations, counter-accusations, exposés.
Videos. Endless videos.
Faces, gestures, voices—all in disturbingly hyperreal resolution.
Fake? Staged? Truth?
When neural networks fused with propaganda, truth was the first to die.
October 7, 2025 – As Witnessed by the Author
That day began like any other—with warm morning sunlight, the soft hum of the air conditioner, and the smell of instant coffee. But by noon, I had become a witness to the first signs of approaching chaos.
First—emergency news broadcasts. Then—shutdowns. Internet, cell service, electricity... all went down nearly simultaneously. Then came the rumors. The announcement of an open alliance between the Russian Federation and the newly formed Islamic Conglomerate (I.C.). Accusations against Israel. A flood of disinformation. Videos so lifelike they were indistinguishable from reality.
Most of all—global tension, which quickly morphed into something darker.
In my neighborhood, panic broke out. People emptied store shelves, grabbing whatever they could—canned food, water—gone in hours. People were afraid, and understandably so. Some of my neighbors hastily packed suitcases and left, fleeing the city with no clear destination—just away from one of the major urban centers of the U.S., without plans or logic.
The World Before and After: Events Following October 7
From surviving official documents and the recollections of Nathaniel R.
October 2025 is still regarded as one of the tensest and most dramatic periods in recent decades. The month overflowed with headlines, shocking video footage, graphic images—and widespread panic among civilians across many nations.
An article dated October 8, 2025, titled "Russia: Aggressor or Peacemaker?", published by The New York Times, became the subject of intense controversy due to its provocative tone. It detailed the Russian president’s declaration of support for the Islamic Conglomerate and directly posed the question to its readers: "Whose side are you on?"
It remains unclear how the article made it to the front page—some suspect corruption. It was pulled from print and deleted from the official website within hours, but by then, the internet had already replicated it thousands of times, turning it into a symbol of the information war—and a battleground of fierce debate.
The First Weeks: Complex Statements and Simple Silence

Europe’s Official Positions: Division and Caution
In the wake of October 7, Europe was forced to confront a new geopolitical reality and the rapidly escalating conflict in the Middle East.
Nations divided into three camps:
Support for Israel. Germany, France, and the United Kingdom were among the first to issue official statements condemning the aggression of the Islamic Conglomerate—and Russia in particular—while expressing solidarity with Israel.
Support for the Islamic Conglomerate. Among those partially or unofficially siding with the Conglomerate were Serbia, Hungary, and certain political factions in Bulgaria and Bosnia. Their statements, though carefully worded, referred to "Russia’s indispensable role in maintaining global balance" and the "need for a new dialogue."
Cautious Silence and Neutrality. Several European states refrained from official comments, preferring to observe and avoid premature escalation. Their silence bred speculation and internal debate—both within governments and the public.
Article dated October 17, 2025: “Europe: Complex Statements and Simple Silence. What Is Europe Not Saying?” — The New York Times
Written in a neutral, restrained tone, the article analyzed Europe’s political stances during the first weeks following October 7. Special attention was given to the potential consequences—both for individual nations and the global power balance.
The piece sparked interest in political circles but quickly vanished from digital platforms. It was preserved only thanks to a private archive owned by collector and survivor Derek Smith.
The original print edition of The New York Times dated October 17, 2025, is available for public viewing at the Derek Smith Historical Archive, located in New York City, USA. The archive is open to visitors Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, and on weekends from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
"Europe is no longer facing a question of black and white. It’s a choice between instability and risk. And every leader knows—hesitation is still a choice."

The faces of European leaders flash across the news with increasing frequency, but their statements are so dissonant, it feels like Europe itself is splitting into several separate realities. My inbox is flooded with links to articles and official reports, many of which feel questionable. The internet is unstable—connections drop constantly, and censorship is growing more visible. It’s hard to know whom to trust anymore.
October 15, 2025
Today, Le Monde published an article titled "Europe at a Crossroads: Who Will Choose a Side?"—a detailed analysis of the EU’s divided positions and the risks of further escalation. Reading it, I couldn’t shake the feeling that world leaders are playing a dangerous game, where every misstep could lead to catastrophe.
And we’re left to wonder—who among them has already slipped.
The Final Days of October 2025: Armament and Escalation
From the archives of the U.S. Department of Defense, the European Commission, and declassified materials from the Greypoint Laboratory, Nevada.
From October 21 to 31, 2025, the global situation entered a phase of open conflict. What had begun as a diplomatic crisis now escalated into full-fledged military operations across Israel, the Gaza Strip, southern Lebanon, and parts of Syria’s border regions.
Official Arms Deliveries: The Beginning of Overt Involvement
According to a declassified NATO report dated October 29, 2025, the United States, United Kingdom, Germany, and France began emergency shipments of:
air defense systems (including Patriot PAC-3 batteries),
precision-guided munitions (including JASSM and SCALP-EG),
tactical armored vehicles and next-generation drones.
Israel also received reserve fuel supplies, satellite communication channels, and humanitarian aid, including vaccines and medical equipment.
At the same time, leaked data from the International Arms Trade Council revealed that several Eastern European nations—including Serbia, Hungary, parts of Bulgaria, and unofficially, Turkey—established supply lines to the Islamic Conglomerate. These included Soviet-era MANPADS, drones, and electronic warfare components disguised as civilian electronics.
Escalation of Hostilities
On October 28, 2025, Israel launched a series of heavy airstrikes against Al-Muttahidin positions—the main coalition force of the Conglomerate—in Lebanon and Syria. In retaliation, on October 30, a massive missile barrage targeted Ashdod, Tel Aviv, and Haifa. Official casualty numbers remain classified, but independent monitoring group Eyes on Levant estimates that by October 31, the death toll on both sides exceeded 9,400.
Project “LCR-23”: A New Fear from an Old Virus
On October 30, 2025, the Greypoint Laboratory in Nevada, under the oversight of DARPA and the CDC, began clinical trials of a genetically modified strain of the rabies virus. The project’s codename:
LCR-23 / Lyssavirus Cerebrum-Rex.
According to classified memo No. 203-LCR-OPS, the primary goal was to develop a neurological suppression weapon with a delayed incubation period, designed to sever the connection between the frontal cortex and the limbic system.
“The project is not intended for mass use. Its purpose is controlled destabilization of hostile combatant groups, using the virus as a ‘non-mechanical compliance agent.’”
— From the internal correspondence of project lead Dr. Owen Marshall
As reported by Science & Warfare magazine (February 2, 2026 issue), Project LCR-23 would later become one of the most controversial bioweapons programs in modern U.S. history.

Everyone’s writing about war. Missiles whistle overhead, but I sense something darker at play. Not just conflict—something deeper, a distortion of reality.
Information dies faster than people.
Something is happening in the world that goes beyond conventional warfare—and that is what truly frightens me.
