"Is Sensei on his way, Hifumi? You said he'd be here an hour ago... think he forgot?" Serina asked, crossing her arms slightly as Hifumi stared into the screen of her phone. "N-No, he's coming... I don't think he forgot, I think he might've gotten lost." Hifumi replied, a slightly nervous look on her face. "He seems to get lost often, even with his GPS... maybe he doesn't know how to properly use it yet." And she was entirely right; Ja'vassa had left from SCHALE bright and early in order to meet with Hifumi as soon as possible, but even with Arona's help, traversing the winding roads of the Trinity District wasn't an easy task. But, eventually, Ja'vassa had arrived at the meeting place; approaching the gates of Trinity with a sheepish smile on his face. "I hope I haven't kept you waiting for too long, Hifumi." He greeted, giving a similar smile to her companion. "Serina, it's good to see you too. I take it the Remedial Knights finally gave you some time off?" They smiled in relief to see that Ja'vassa had finally arrived after what seemed to be an eternity. Serina nodded at his question. "Yeah, we haven't been as busy as we typically are, so they gave me some time to relax. Hifumi invited me to join her on your little day out." It was a bit surprising, but Ja'vassa didn't seem to mind. "The more the merrier, eh? I'm glad to see you'll be able to relax, Serina." He nods, turning his attention to Hifumi. "Thanks for inviting me, Hifumi. I suppose it's time to finally learn more about those... Momo Friends you've mentioned. You said something about an arcade? What is that?" His lack of street knowledge was alarming, and somewhat amusing, but they figured it'd be easier to show him. "You really don't know what an arcade is, do you?" Hifumi asked playfully. "It's a place people go to play all sorts of video games. I heard there's a few claw machines that have some rare Peroro merchandise and I intend to win a few things." More video games; he just barely survived the lessons from Momoi and Midori, and now, he was expected to learn more of them. "I wonder if you'll be a better teacher than Momoi and Midori... they tried to teach me a few games, but that wasn't a big success." Ja'vassa admitted, shaking his head as he'd begun to follow behind them. "Don't worry about not being good, Sensei, games are all about having fun. So long as you're enjoying yourself, that's all that matters. Even if we don't win anything, spending a day with you will be worth it." Serina replied, flashing him one of her signature, cheerful smiles; her pink eyes glittering with joy. Fortunately, Ja'vassa hadn't gotten lost on the way to the arcade, but this was only because he had Hifumi and Serina guiding him through the neighborhood. Even in broad daylight, the dazzlingly bright lights of the arcade were plain to see and were strangely attractive. "The Momo Arcade, hm? I see that Trinity seems to enjoy bright and flashy things.." He mused, stepping into the arcade with them. Unsurprisingly, the interior of the arcade was just as bright. Never before had Ja'vassa seen so many colors in one place, and the various noises were a little overwhelming, but for the sake of his students, he'd put up with it. There were so many games to choose from; dancing games, retro fighters, shooters, and racers, and even a number of machines were filled with all sorts of soft, adorable looking toys. He had no idea where to start, deciding to simply stick with his students. They knew more than he did, after all. Noticing his confusion, Hifumi grabbed his arm and decided to introduce him to something simple. Her first instinct was to bring him to one of the claw machines filled to the brim with all of the Peroro plushes. "This game is pretty simple, Sensei. All you do is control the claw and hope you're lucky enough to take home the cute stuffies inside." Hifumi explained cheerfully, taking a moment to demonstrate it. Her first few attempts ended in failure; every time they grabbed at the toy, but never moved it far from its resting place. "...it takes a few attempts, though. I'll get it eventually. Dr. Peroro will be mine, mark my words!" Despite her rigid determination, each successive attempt ended with failure. Ja'vassa watched with mild amusement, though he was interested in trying. "I think I get how it works. Do you mind if I give it a shot, Hifumi?" He asked, eyeing the Dr. Peroro toy she was after. She returned to reality as she heard his words, looking towards him with mild surprise. "If you think you can do it, Sensei, be my guest." Hifumi responded, stepping away from the machine to see what Ja'vassa had in mind. After placing a few coins in the machine, Ja'vassa controlled the machine with one hand while subtly using a Telekinesis spell with the other hand; using it to hold onto the plush as the claw slowly brought it towards the prize box. Hifumi watched in utter amazement unaware of what her teacher was really doing. Serina on the other hand subtly rolled her eyes, a slight frown propping at her face as the plush dropped into the box. "Ah, that was easier than I thought it'd be." Ja'vassa said casually, holding out the lab coat wearing Peroro plush to Hifumi. She stared at him with a slight blush dusting her cheeks. "For me, Sensei?" Hifumi asked in a surprised tone, gratefully accepting the plush. Her surprised expression quickly turned into a cheerful smile as she tightly hugged the toy. "Thank you, Sensei.. I'll treasure Dr. Peroro forever." Serina sighed in defeat, she saw how happy Hifumi was, but couldn't approve of Ja'vassa's methods. "Sensei... you're not planning to cheat all of the games here, are you?" She asked, her tone sounding slightly accusatory. "Ahaha, you saw that, didn't you?" Ja'vassa asked with a soft chuckle. "There's no rules against using magic, is there? So, there was no cheating involved." He was right, but Serina still didn't think it was a good idea to potentially attract trouble from the owners. "I... I guess you're right, but you should still be careful. Even if it's not written down, I doubt ownership would appreciate you cheating their games..." Fortunately, Hifumi was none the wiser to their conversation and solely focused on the adorable toy in her arms, the world around her having completely faded away. With some convincing from Serina, Ja'vassa had moved away from the claw machine and joined her at some other games in the arcade. For the next couple of hours, the group traveled from machine to machine, both Hifumi and Serina gladly teaching Ja'vassa all about the games they enjoyed while the latter kept a careful eye on him to ensure that he was attempting to cheat at any other game. The day went along the same pattern for most of the day until the early afternoon arrived and the arcade was preparing to close for the day. None of them were ready to call it a day, so they'd head over to the nearby cafe to grab a drink. Taking a seat outside with their colorful juices, they all seemed to be in a good mood; Hifumi in particular had been practically floating on cloud nine since she received Dr. Peroro from Ja'vassa, clinging onto it like a lifeline. "That was fun.. we should do something like this more often. Maybe next time, we can introduce Sensei to some of the anime we'd watch." Hifumi suggested, looking towards them with a hopeful smile. "Yeah, this is the most fun I've had on a day off in months. I'd be glad to spend some more time with you, Hifumi and if Sensei can join us, it'll make things even better." Serina replied, and now, it was up to Ja'vassa to agree with them as they stared at him expectantly. "I can't deny that I've enjoyed the day, too. Whenever you two get together in the future, feel free to give me a call and I'll be glad to join you." Ja'vassa replied, returning their cheerful smiles. "Though, I'm leaving for Skyrim here in a few days, so I probably won't be able to join immediately. But, once I return, perhaps we plan an outing with each other." They were surprised to hear that he was leaving, briefly sharing a glance amongst each other. "You'll return to Kivotos, right? You're not leaving us permanent, are you?" Hifumi asked worriedly, clutching her plush a bit tighter. "Of course I'll be back; I can't expect the students joining me to live in Skyrim, after all." Ja'vassa assured them, a calming smile plastered on his face. They were obviously relieved to hear that he'd be returning, but were even more surprised to hear that he wasn't going alone. "You're bringing other students with you? That's... surprising." Hifumi giggled softly, setting her empty cup to the side. "I still remember the description you gave Skyrim back when we first met.. it sounded beautiful." Ja'vassa nodded in agreement as he leaned back in his seat. "Perhaps if you've got some freetime, you're welcome to join us, Hifumi. You could as well, Serina. All you two would need is to pack something warm to wear and ensure your weapons are in good shape, and I'll come by and pick you up when it's time." The prospect of traveling beyond Kivotos wasn't something either of them had thought about it, and it was a bit of a frightening option, and yet, the idea of it was almost too tempting to pass it up. Once again, the pair shared a glance; silently communicating amongst each other. "It couldn't hurt to come with you. You need a medic in case anything goes wrong, after all." Serina replied cheerfully, masking the underlying nervousness she felt. So long as she was with Ja'vassa and the others, she'd be fine. "I'm sure the Remedial Knights will be fine without me for a few more days, though I'll have to let Hanae and the Captain know before I go.. I'll send them a message when I get back to the dorms." Hifumi nodded in response, her smile widening ever so slightly. "An adventure with you, Serina, and the others you've invited sounds fun. I'll be sure to get everything together and be ready by then. When do you plan on leaving, Sensei? Should we meet you at SCHALE?" She asked, clutching the toy a bit closer to her. "I was planning to gather everyone tomorrow. I'll be heading to Red Winter soon after we're done here so I can meet with Momiji first thing in the morning. So... if you want to meet me at the gates of Trinity by tomorrow afternoon, we'll go from there." Ja'vassa replied, seemingly as excited as they were about their coming adventure. "We'll be ready, Sensei! I promise you won't regret bringing us with you." Serina replied as she'd stand up, "We should probably head back to our dorms so we'll be rested for tomorrow. I'll be sure all of our equipment is in good shape for whatever you've got planned." Ja'vassa nodded, watching as Hifumi stood up as well. "Aye. I'll be here as soon as I can tomorrow, and hopefully I won't get as lost as I did today." Hifumi giggled softly, shaking her head. "It wouldn't be right if you didn't get lost at least once, Sensei. Either way, I look forward to seeing you again." She hummed, reaching out to give him a tight hug. "...and thanks for helping me to get Dr. Peroro. It means more to me than you'll ever know, Sensei." Ja'vassa gladly returned the hug, nodding in response. "Then you'll be glad to know getting lost in Skyrim is practically guaranteed." He teased, his smile softening at her next words. "Of course, it gives me great joy to see you so happy, Hifumi. Now, go get some rest. You'll need it for tomorrow." Almost hesitantly, Hifumi nodded in agreement and slowly pulled away from his arms, still looking at him with adoration obvious in her eyes. "We'll see you tomorrow, Sensei. Make sure you get some rest as well." Upon separating for the night, Ja'vassa quickly made his way towards the local station to make the long journey towards the Red Winter district. Surprisingly, perhaps due to his own excitement for the upcoming adventure, he hadn't gotten himself lost and upon arriving at the station, all that was left was to enjoy the long ride to the district. While waiting for his station to arrive, he'd take some time to write a letter to his allies in Sjel Blad Castle; requesting that they prepare the guest rooms for his students and that he'll be returning for a brief time, promising to bring some of the notes he had collected the last time he had visited the Red Winter Library. It wasn't clear how long the train ride took, but after finally arriving in the district and with the help of Arona, Ja'vassa slowly made his way towards the nearest hotel where he'd rest for the night. It's been a few months since he last stepped foot in his homeland, so it'd be nice to speak with his companions once more and the prospect of him finally completing a quest he had long been putting off only excited him further. With the room booked, he changed into his usual sleepwear, and finally faded off for the night. There were a lot of places he'd need to visit the moment the sun came up over the horizon. Going from Red Winter Federal Academy to pick up Momiji, and then eventually making his way through several other districts to pick up the others.
