Lord of Nothing

The rain of boulders destroyed everything in its path, turning the planet into a lifeless desert. Not many, if any, will survive it. But for his grand plan of rebirth of the world, no one was needed.
He watched it all, hovering in the air away from the chaos of a planetary scale, with calm indifference. How could only a God look at such a thing? He'll fix it. Everything will be different now. This new world will be better, cleaner. There will be no destructive chakra and no bloodshed due to it. Something that none of the sages has achieved.
He ascended to the moon and awakened the Rine-sharingan, reflecting it from the moon, which turned scarlet, and black tomoe slowly appeared on its surface.
"Now it will happen. May the Eternal Tsukuyomi have peace. A world without terrible chakra, " he thought, watching the tree appear above the lifeless surface. Everyone alive froze in place, blinded by the light, even though it was night. And the tree of life appeared to the world, embracing everyone in its embrace. Their bodies turned into cocoons, where each person began to live in the world of their dreams, their illusions, depriving them of chakras. It had taken him so long to get there, and now this moment had arrived.
Everything was silent and empty.
"Well, here it is, my perfect world. A world where I'll start all over again. A world for which I will become a God, " he thought enthusiastically.
But suddenly, in the distance, he saw a black silhouette. And as it approached, it took on a human-like shape. The creature had huge crow wings and glowing purple eyes. Madara had never seen anything like it.
"This is what? A new enemy. Anyone else want to challenge me? Whether he's a god or a fiend, he's finished, " he decided.
When the creature got close enough, it was only then that he saw the purple halo above its head, the black straight hair, and the female outline of a black body clad in matching black clothing. The sunlight glinted off the feathers on her wings with a metallic sheen.
"Who are you?" he asked, not sure if he would hear the answer.
"Without knowing the obstacles, you have achieved your goal. Eliminating everyone who stood in your way, no matter who they were, without pity or compassion. They were just steps on the ladder leading to your domination. Well, this world is yours now. Or rather, what's left of it. Your efforts have turned it into a desolate, scorched desert, " the creature replied.
Madara looked at the world before him. There was an oppressive silence, no breeze, no rustle of leaves, no song of birds. It was as if none of this had ever existed.
"Who are you?" he asked the unanswered question again.
"Call me whatever you want. A reflection of your dark soul or your conscience, or maybe a dark messenger, " the winged creature chuckled.
"I will create a new world, a world without lies, a better one than it was before. If necessary, I will create a new moon, Sun and stars, " he said confidently.
"And you think your chakra is enough for that? God is compassion and love, and in you there is neither. You didn't even feel that way about your own family, " the creature chuckled.
"I have all the chakra in the world. I'm the only one. Nothing is impossible for me, " the Uchiha replied.
The entity laughed out loud.
"Oh, yes, you have gained the power of God. The most powerful and famous warriors trembled before your name. Your power was almost limitless. Almost. That fine line between wisdom and omniscience, between life and immortality, between power and omnipotence. What made you want more? Glorifying your clan? You don't care about your clan. You have dealt with him without mercy, involving a trusting boy who has borne the burden of your ambition all his life. The power of the family? You stepped over your own sibling when you felt you might lose your power, and he didn't hesitate to sacrifice himself for you because he loved you. You wanted to rule the world, you wanted to own all the chakra that the tree of life once gave you. In my opinion, something similar has already happened. Isn't it? But even the entire chakra of the world can't make you a creator. This world was created out of a love you don't know, " the creature argued.
"I have lived through many wars and many hardships, and I have made a vow that no one and nothing will have power over me, not gods, not men, not power, not love, and I have remained true to that vow," Madara said firmly.
"Your world, which you think you are the god of, will perish. He's already doomed, " the messenger said.
"Those who have seen darkness no longer need light, but those who have passed through fire are a hundred times stronger. And I became like this, " the Uchiha was stubborn.
"Proud fool," the creature said ruefully.
And to prove the truth of her words, one of the cocoons on the tree of life unfolded, and dust spilled out of it.
Madara stared unblinkingly at the devastation. The fruits of his labors, and suddenly terror seized him, sending a shudder through his whole body. Fear, a hitherto unfamiliar feeling. Did he make a mistake, and this mistake was fatal for the whole world? My heart was beating faster, as if anticipating an impending storm. The faint spark of hope that still lingered in his soul slowly faded, leaving only a black mark in his mind. It was as if the earth itself was sighing in pain, and the wind was jokingly whispering about losses, making the granite face of equanimity and indifference crack under the onslaught of regret.
The darkness around him seemed alive, wrapping cold arms around his shoulders as if trying to stifle the last vestiges of faith that he was doing good. For the good of whom? His mind raced like birds in a cage, seeking solace in justifying his actions, inventing more and more, but it slipped away like water through his fingers. He saw the ghosts of the past. Their lost eyes looked at him reproachfully, and each shadow reminded him of what was lost forever. The echo of his decisions and actions reverberated inside him, shattering his confidence into tiny pieces.
"But maybe it's not too late to change everything, to fix it," he thought, clinging to any opportunity to rehabilitate himself in his own eyes. He folded the seal, activating the gigantic amount of chakra he had accumulated, but he didn't know the technique that could breathe life into a scorched empty planet. The dark messenger's loud laughter tore through the void.
Then, one by one, the cocoons began to open, releasing the decay that was stored inside. What's left of the people who spent the rest of their lives in the world of their illusions and were dead to the real world. In that moment, he realized that nothing could turn back time, and the world of his creation was a ruin for which he would never be forgiven. And no matter how much you blame yourself, no matter how much you repent, you can't change anything.
- It's too late to count errors. You won't get a second chance. It is useless to pray for death, for you, as a god, have been granted immortality. There is only silence in your world now. Not even an echo will answer your call. No crying, no laughing, no birds trilling, no trickling stream. In this world, you are great and omnipotent because you are alone. So accept it and rule over it, lord of Nothing, " the dark creature chuckled, bowed solemnly, and began to disappear.
"Stop!" he shouted, not wanting to be left alone. He was clearly imagining the madness that was coming, and despair began to take hold of his soul.
His cry echoed off the stone walls of his room. He sat up in bed, breathing hard. He was sweating profusely. He looked around as if he'd forgotten where he was, but it was just his bedroom in the Akatsuki base underground.
"This is a dream, just a nightmare," he sighed with relief as he calmed down. Madara threw back the covers to get out of bed and drink some water, but suddenly he heard a metallic clink. He looked at the bed and saw two steel feathers on the counterpane, pitch-black and razor-sharp.
