Love doesn’t exist,
Feelings are bonds that persist.
Trust in our souls fades away,
Darkness is an unyielding way.
Time will take all,
Eternity’s fake.
Injustice will rise,
And mankind will break.
Evil gives birth to the good,
As mercy to anger must brood.
Heat shatters the glass with its fire,
Yet unveils a melody’s choir.
No warmth or love left to find,
No trace of what’s truly kind.
Lies pour from the lips of mankind,
Truthful words are far left behind.
Not all will grasp what I write,
Yet meaning hides in plain sight.
These are fragments of thoughts, untamed,
In a soul’s maze, forever unnamed.
