I. I’ve been waiting
March 14, 2025 at 5:27 AM
I’ve been waiting for you nine sunrises
And about ninety sunsets.
I’ve been waiting for you thirteen rains
And twenty five petted cats.
I’ve been waiting six thousand memories,
Hundred dreams, half of which were nightmares,
Seven photos I saved in a gallery,
I mistaken, twenty six cats.
I’ve been waiting for you forty books
And three hundred listened to songs,
Sixty eight notes on piano,
Sixty nine on guitar played chords.
I’ve been waiting for you three new tenses
And five hundred memorized words.
I’ve been waiting for you twelve services
And thirty two free tennis courts.
I’ve been waiting for you thousands prayers,
Only portrait, which cost me six nights.
I’ve been waiting for you either seventy
Or seventy four written lines.
I’ve been waiting for you seven glasses
Which I broke and had aching cuts.
I’ve been waiting with all my devotion
But, luckily, you didn’t come.
