The man who stirred the depths of my mind,
Awoke in me the quest for answers within,
He who revealed the worth of bonds intertwined,
Taught me to cherish friendship like the sun's grin.
He showed how every fleeting moment is key,
How time flows on, sparing none in its race.
And I trusted, leaving all unguarded, free,
For once, long ago, we shared a sacred space.
But now his laughter cuts like a knife in the night,
Words that wound, sharp as arrows in flight.
Has he changed, or was this always his guise?
I ask myself, "Is this man real, or just lies?"
Who are you now? A shadow from a brighter past,
Or merely a lesson I must embrace at last?
I search in you for what once used to be,
But it seems that it's lost, no longer with me.
