For whom these lines, you’ll ask, if ever you unfold my verse,
For whom did you write, if no one sees, no one hears?
But I’ll tell you this—I wrote for them,
For those who dwell within my heart, yet never read a word.
Why name them, if they’ll never turn the page?
Why point, if they’ll never see their name engraved?
I simply wish to write, to let it flow,
And if they ever glimpse, they’ll never know.
For these words are whispers, silent and unseen,
A message cast to shadows, where they’ve always been.
A love unspoken, a truth untold,
A story written for hearts that may never unfold.
So let the ink spill, let the lines remain,
For those who’ll never see, yet hold my heart’s refrain.
And if they find these words, they’ll never understand,
That every letter, every verse, was written for their hand.
