In the shadows, pain abides,
Friends like whispers fade away,
Laughter, joy — now silence hides,
Memories wrap me, come what may.
Why am I the one who bears
The weight of lies and fickle games?
Caught in a web of cruel affairs,
My heart now bruised, my spirit maimed.
Once a spark, now just a shade,
Alone I navigate this night,
Searching for the reasons laid,
In darkness, longings take their flight.
Words, like arrows, pierce me deep,
"You’re not enough!" they coldly say,
Yet I, with honesty, shall keep
My tears concealed within this fray.
Bullying looms above my soul,
Though hope still flickers in the light,
I’ll find within a sturdy goal,
And rise again to face the fight.
Where hope and strength begin to thrive,
I’ll be a phoenix, born anew.
With every step, I’ll feel alive,
Embracing shine, reclaiming view.
