Harry was desperate. He was obliged to participate in a bloody tournament that he simply had no chance of winning, or perhaps even surviving. His friends, on whose support he had always relied, had turned their backs on him. He is alone. Can someone give him back his sense of purpose and encourage him to start a new life?
Notes:
I'm going to say a lot of things here. First, the events of this work take place at the time of the fourth installment, but I may expand the plot into the following years, but my plotting will change it a lot, and things will go very differently than they could have. Just not at all. Secondly, I'm going to show the negative sides of Dumbledore and Weasley here. If you don't like these plot twists, you probably won't like the work that much. But there won't be much emphasis on it, so I don't think you'll experience a lot of negative emotions. Third, there will be a Harry/Luna thing in the works, which I think is pretty interesting and unconventional. But I really liked their friendship in the books and movies, so I think this pairing is adequate. But that's pretty much it. Enjoy the read. P.S. 06.10 edit. While preserving the main plot.
