The front door opens. There’s the familiar knock, but there’s a feeling that something’s wrong. A bag falls to the floor near the door, the key turns and closes the main door, checking the aftermath. The woman makes her way to the kitchen and looks in the fridge before grabbing some juice. From the first floor comes the voice of her lover: — Are you home yet, Kreis? — Yes. Her mood has improved a little since she realised she wouldn’t be home alone. She puts the juice back and goes to the bathroom to take care of her needs. When she enters the small studio, she sees Jess' figure hunched over a painting, illuminated by a beam of light. Kerith smiles, a chuckle is heard and she takes a towel from the cupboard. She moves closer to the table, looks over Jess’s shoulder, compliments her on her work, then leaves for the bathroom. Concentrating, the girl continues to work, embarrassed. A blush hides beneath her medical mask. The sound of the water makes her relax a little. Looking at herself in the mirror, Kerith breathes out. Her hair is loose, falling from her shoulders. Her burgundy sweatshirt has fallen to the side of the sink, as has her sports top. She looks down at her body, a few bruises, a few scars that are slowly healing, almost painlessly. Just a few more rubs and she’ll be fine. Her trousers fall down too, leaving only her panties. She steps back and looks at her athletic body, which partially fits in the mirror. Smooth, beautiful… On her side, she saw the bruise from the last fight again. — Ah… She stroked her body, slowly going from her hips to her waist, up, stroking her breasts, behind and shoulders. Soon the water was hot and it was safe to enter. She stood under the scalding shower for about half an hour. Only when she regains her senses does Kreis begin to wash herself, stroking every inch of her body, every cube of her torso. She washes herself thoroughly before stepping out of the shower completely clean. Entering Jess’s room, Kreis towels herself, exposing her entire body. She hears Jess put away all her tools, takes everything off and exhales blissfully. — Done for the day? Jess quietly confirms everything, looks at Kerith and walks over to her, despite the fatigue in her back. Kerith pressed the towel lightly against her body, not knowing how to react. She felt the hands slowly encircle her body, her waist, her stomach, almost reaching her breasts which were covered by the towel. Jess snuggles into her shoulder, kisses Kreis on the cheek. — Let me cook us something, yeah? — she says lovingly into her friend’s ear, pressing her breasts against her back. — Is that all right with you, love? Maybe some sandwiches. I’m starving. The towel falls onto the chair and the rest of her body can be touched. Jess does so gently before she pulls away and goes into the kitchen to get something to eat. Kreis smiles as she feels the residual touch on her skin. Completely naked, she walks into the bedroom, the compatibility and private study for two. It’s spacious, nice, cosy. Just right for girls like her. Kreis had arranged the room in such a way that it would be comfortable for both of them to sleep in. Finally, some of her clothes were on. Clean black panties that accentuated her athletic body, the same colour top. She collapsed onto the bed and let out a stifled gasp. How she had longed for a bed all day long. Jess could still be heard in the kitchen, cooking. A few minutes of silence, in her thoughts — distracted by the sound of footsteps. She looks at the door and smiles. Jess is standing in the doorway, entering the room with a small tray of food. It smells delicious with pasta and freshly made hot cheese sandwiches. — You’re as usual… Isn’t this really hard for you? Kreis climbed under the blanket and took the tray, letting Jess lie down next to him. — It’s really not that heavy. It’s been a long day and I’m tired. But it’s no waste of extra energy for the one you love. She kissed the lady on the cheek, making her smile. Something nice for the evening. They both began to stuff their bellies with delicious food. They took the remaining plates to the kitchen. When they had finished their work, they returned to the bedroom with glasses of water and turned on some of the lights. The TV was humming somewhere in the background as they cuddled. Caressing movements on each other’s bodies, a pleasant intonation in their conversation. When they switched off the TV, Jess and Kreis made themselves comfortable. Kreis fell asleep with his head on Jess’s shoulder, hugging her waist, slowly falling asleep. She just looked at the girl and stroked her waist, watching her smile as she fell asleep. In my mind I thought, 'How sweet she is…' — I’m so happy next to her… — she whispered, stroking the girl’s cheek and brushing a strand of hair away from her face. She looked at the scar on her cheek, and fixed a fresh patch on the bridge of her nose.Chapter 1
