Chapter 30

Settings
Honidesu looked at her wrist and noticed the bracelet Bonnie had given her. Memories of her friend's love and compassion flooded her mind again. "She wouldn't want this..." Honi thought. The girl turned around and saw that Zhmak had stood up. She put down the scissors and walked over to him, gently stroking the cat's fluffy fur. He purred and began to rub against her hand. "Hey, Zhmak, let's take a break," she said with a smile, lightly scratching him behind the ears. The cat wagged his tail happily, and together they headed into the hall. Janet and Henry were sitting on the couch, enjoying their tea. Their faces lit up with smiles when they saw Honi and Zhmak. The girl sat down next to them. Henry and Janet exchanged glances. Honidesu sat a little silent, lost in her thoughts, but Janet could not leave her aside. "Honidesu, darling, would you mind spending this time together?" Miss Harper asked, pulling a box of board games out of her bag. "Yes, I would love to," the girl smiled softly. During the evening they played board games, joked and laughed. Henry, usually serious and reserved, even told a few funny jokes, making everyone laugh. For Honi, this evening became special. She felt a drop of joy and lightness. She was pleased to be among this company, surrounded by care and attention. She felt that she had a family. Two weeks passed. Honi changed her passport to the name "Honidesu Hunter". The girl became a real hero of her city, protecting it from sinister mockers and unkind people. Honidesu slowly walked along the quiet streets, enjoying the peace that she had longed for. Her faithful companion Zhmak walked next to her. She was heading to the grocery store to fulfill her father Henry's request and buy some food. But before she reached her destination, her attention was drawn to a sinister mocker who attacked a little girl and her mother. There were no patrolmen nearby to help. "My peace was short-lived, but so what..." Honi thought. Without a second thought, she rushed to their rescue. Using her glitch power, she summoned her unique axes, with which she had spent countless hours training. Each of them was decorated with gold and red elements, combining simplicity and elegance in a classic design that spoke of the timelessness of these weapons. The contrasting colors of gold and red created an impressive visual effect, filling the soul with a sense of dignity and prestige. These axes were her pride - sharp and deadly weapons that had saved lives more than once. With a scream calling for the girl and her mother to escape, Honidesu rushed towards the monster. She managed to distract the monster and buy time for the frightened people to escape. Zhmak, taking advantage of the moment, possessed the mocker, knocking him off-balance and allowing Honi to finish the job - chopping the monster into pieces. The axes sparkled with glitches and blue flashes, resonating with her power. "Heart and Break did a good job!" Honi said, looking proudly at her axes, and then turned to look at Zhmak, who rolled his eyes. "You were great too, Zhmak!" she added with a smile. The cat happily wagged his tail from the praise. After defeating the monster, they headed to the store as if nothing had happened. Returning home with groceries, Henry asked Honi: "Are you hungry?" "No, thanks, I think I'll take a walk," the girl answered. Honidesu decided to go to a karaoke bar. With the bar nearly empty, she finally found the privacy she wanted. She closed her eyes to shut out the world, took a deep breath before opening her heart and singing: "Remember turning on the night And moving through the morning light Remember how it was with you Remember how you pulled me through I remember I remember I remember..." The power of her voice echoed throughout the small bar... Honi was able to forget about everything for those precious few minutes, her soul seemed to have found freedom. As she sang, she thought back to all the wonderful moments she and Bonnie had shared. She was truly grateful for the friendship they had built together... When she finished singing, she looked at the bracelet and smiled. Zhmak happily ran around Honi and together they continued on their way, ready to protect the world from evil. The friends made their way through the dense forest, where every branch seemed familiar, every rustle reminded them of the past. Fallen leaves crunched under their feet, and the smell of damp earth gave them a feeling of peace. Finally, they reached the waterfall, a place where they used to spend a lot of time together with their friend. The setting sun painted the sky in shades of pink and orange, casting golden reflections on the surface of the water. The friends sat silently by the water, as if immersed in shared memories... "I miss you..." she whispered.
