Notes:
Well.. Have a nice read!!
Two weeks have passed. Life gradually began to improve. This house is warm, cozy and pleasant, just like its owner's.The days when he came were the best.
He got used to his touch and memorized every one of them. They were so gentle and unusual for Thunder. When the owner did not come, he either slept or stood on the balcony and watched the street. In general, the ordinary life of a cat who needs to hide that he is only half a cat. "I hope it stays that way..." he thought, hoping that this wish would come true.
[August 20, 15:00]
Well. August is the rainy season. It's him again. The rain drummed on the outer windowsill and its drops quickly flowed down the glass. Timm was on the phone. Suddenly the door to his room opened and Charlotte stood on the threshold.
— What is it, Mom?- He said, putting the phone away.
— It's okay, how are you?
He looked at her incredulously and replied.
— It's normally..
— Oh, that's good!- she said, - in general, what I came for, your uncle is coming to us tonight.
— Mm, good
— and his son will
be with him
—okeeeey-he drawled, not understanding what the conversation was about.
— they come for a week, and there are no places where they will sleep, so I'm asking you. You can put them in an apartment here, or you can move into it and vacate your room.
This choice did not surprise him. He already had to live in your apartment when it was being renovated in the spring. Therefore, the choice was obvious, but it was unpleasant to give your room to some relatives there.
[20:00]
And so the evening came. A relative and his child greeted their parents, the child ran up to Timm in interest.
- hello! I'm Zhenya-
Ginger did not listen to him and just left the apartment. Walking down the corridor, he cursed softly to himself, "that's what they came for", "why are they even here?".
He walked up to the eighty-fifth apartment and opened it with a terrible creak, the screeching was already making his ears pop. The cat was lying on the couch, already in his feline form. Redhead is one of those people who likes to chat with pet fuzzies. Thunder was already used to it, along with the blows, he remembered everything he said, literally everything. Timm began to talk about this uncle and how he infuriates him, the cat tried to support him somehow, but only a plaintive meow came out, which caused a smile to appear on the owner's face during the story.
It was getting late.Clouds with a transition from white to dark gray filled the orange-red sky. The rays of the setting sun made their way into the room, and fell on red hair and white wool. It's actually night, but the moon won't rise until midnight or one o'clock in the morning. His eyes began to stick together and the guy left the cat alone with himself, and he went to sleep. The cat quietly followed him and lay down next to him on the bed. After a while, when the guy fell asleep, the cat jumped off and went out onto the balcony.
The shimmering mist enveloped the air around him again and there she was—a human form. Placing his hands on the railing, he watched the sun set very slowly behind the buildings. There is no one on the street. Everything has calmed down, which is good. The wind was always slow in this place and chilled to the skin. It feels like the wind is blowing now and in a couple of seconds you will hear the sounds of an old lady's TV show next door or the music of the neighbors from above. But it's the beginning of the night, a pretty long night. Until his eyes start to hurt or close so that he will have to force them open, he will not be able to sleep. Maybe that's why he has circles under his eyes?
Timm's eyes slowly opened. His throat was terribly dry and the only thought that was "water.." He went into the kitchen and then returned, but..He noticed that the cat was not on the bed. Then he saw that the door to the balcony was open. The logical conclusion:the cat went out on the balcony and the guy went to check it out. There are cases when cats accidentally fall out of the balcony and sometimes windows, so it's better not to let them out there, but there was something worse.
Timm stood in the doorway with his eyes wide. A terrible scream and he locked the door. The scream stopped Thunder's heart, and then it started pounding wildly. My hands were shaking and my head was spinning, "it's over.. He found out.."His hands gripped the railing, he can't stay here anymore. Either the owner will tell him to leave, or he will kick him out. There are only two options, only one way out, only to leave on your own.
Meanwhile, ginger walked away from the door and thought about what to do. His hands were twitching, wanting to do something.Should I call the police? And what do they say? “Hello, I have some strange guy with a tail and cat ears on my balcony” sounds more like the ravings of a madman than reality. Maybe take a knife and.. Not an option. His gaze was directed at the floor to calm down and think about everything that was happening now. "So... Now there's a man standing outside the door, or not even a man, and what should I do? Should I tell him to get out? What if he has claws and he's got me...?" He looked at the window and saw that guy climbing over the railing. Timm ran out onto the balcony.
— Are you crazy?!— He said sharply.
Thunder looked at him blankly."What is he doing? No, what am I doing?" thought Ginger.
— Eh?..
— I'm saying, what are you doing?! You'll crash if you jump off.
— So what..
— So what!?- he repeated with anguish - don't you really understand what you're doing?? Get off quickly.-He said the last words with a serious tone, one might even say commanding.
Thunder obediently climbed down from them. The guy looked him up and down. It doesn't look threatening, but rather alarming. Tail tucked in, as well as ears, eyes to the floor, as if Timmy was going to yell at him, which he wanted to do, but changed his mind.
— That's it.. Who are you and how did you get here?
— well.. I'm thunder
— wait-he wanted to object, but his ears and tail spoke for themselves...-Okay, let's say I believe you, but why did you want to jump off?
— I'm just going to create problems here, so I decided to leave as soon as possible..
— leave.. Back outside?
— well..He hesitated in response and continued red.
— I found you on the street, so you don't even have a house.
This reminder sent goosebumps through the cat. True, he does not want to return to such a life, but he sees only such a way out of the situation.
"just tell me, do you really want to get back to this?"The guy asked sincerely.
— I would like to stay, but it's too
much-
- so would just ask if could stay
-.. Won't it be too difficult?
— is it difficult to ask?
He hesitated slightly , and then asked.
— Can I stay?
— yes-he smiled,which confused the cat
