Chapter 1

Settings
This whole long story began long before we get to know the main characters in the plot of our favorite work, but they are no less interesting – no one knows what happened before, no one knows what will happen after. God himself cannot predict his plan, only at the very beginning the reins of government of this sinful world were in her hands, then they were transferred to responsible persons. It was only later that the Goddess withdrew into herself, ceasing to communicate with the self-created world, while those who received power decided that everything was going according to plan. I dare say right away – there is no plan and there never was, otherwise the described events simply would not have found a place in it. One day, as usual, very, very long ago, Life appeared on our planet, on the sensitive and soft right hand of the Lord God. Together, they created everything beautiful and alive: green grass and spreading trees, in whose shade animals lived – one draft from each one who had ever been an angel or a creature created by the Creator himself. And from the rough and rough left hand – Death. His job was to take this life back, to return the created souls to the Lord so that they could continue their journey in another world. They were completely different, complete opposites of each other, designed to complement and improve, rather than compete with each other, to keep the whole world in harmony and balance, being surrounded by the same divine entities from the very beginning – dominions and thrones, good cherubim and beautiful seraphim, working with all their might on something global, capable of turning over everything that already exists, but completely unclear in use: for relatively young entities, only incomprehensible drawings and notes of close associates were available, which did not give much idea, but one thing was clear – Life itself and Death will take a very important part in this, having played their last roles. And then one day, in those days when all the days were beautiful, Seraph, one of the most interesting seraphim, distinguished by the fiery of his hair and the singing of colorful birds, came to Life peacefully resting by a cool stream in the Garden of Eden, after the fruitful revival of its smallest inhabitants, now called "pisces". curiosity. - I think we need your help, - the bright smile of the young man attracted all attention to himself, forcing him to listen to the words of these lips as closely as possible, literally absorbing them into his subconscious and imprinting them in his soul. Life did not answer, being deeply fascinated by the fiery curls, but only followed him into the depths of the garden, where a large cave lay, concealing many secrets and riddles. The girl had not reached there yet, because it was much more interesting to create creatures living under the sun than those who would spend their whole lives in the dark. What is the meaning of such a life if they do not see the main miracle of the Lord – sunlight, but only its dull reflections in the form of the moon? - What do I need to do, Seraf? Life asked, starting to worry. Her voice rose unusually, betraying her emotions in every detail. In front of her, in the pitch darkness, she saw only a pile of clay hastily collected from the wall and the high walls of a stone grotto, from whose ceiling hung exactly the same objects as on the floor, the names of which Life could not come up with right off the bat. With its dampness and spaciousness, the space fascinated and delighted, making it clear that the world of God will never be fully understood and studied. - You need to revive this clay, - as if reading her thoughts, the angel replied, trying to speak in as serious a tone as possible, - God made a likeness of his beloved ward out of it and called it "man". And Life fell to its knees, laughing so loudly that the whole globe of the earth heard it. - I suppose this is just a joke, - the young maiden closed her eyes and raised her hands to heaven, - what a wicked, wicked joke, my God! "You may be right," Seraphim smiled at her, chuckling softly, "but this is not a joke at all. Life abruptly stopped laughing, her face now expressed only fear. - It is impossible to revive something that should not live, - the frightened girl huddled in a corner, hugging her thin knees, - I cannot control it. "None of us," Seraf reassured her, "I'll talk to the Goddess." And it was, as you might guess, Friday night. As a true hermit, the Goddess herself no longer received visitors at this time, but peacefully rested in her cloud residence, thinking about plans for the near future. I looked down, thinking and admiring the work I had already done. "That's good," it burst from his lips, forcing a smile, "very good. Among the night stars, already contemplated by the Goddess, the voice of seraphim opened, asking for an audience with the disturbing message inherent in any angel. - What do you want, Seraf? – Metatron, appointed by the voice of God, answered his pleas, it seems, one of the few ever received from Earth. "I need to talk to the Goddess, urgently," Seraphim said, taking a deep breath, trying to stop showing excitement. "God hears you," they answered him, and the voice of the altar angel disappeared, leaving the worried seraphim alone with the Creator of all things. - What has happened to you already? The Goddess began to speak disdainfully and tiredly, but was immediately brazenly interrupted. - Life cannot give a soul to your creation, our God. My God," the angel chattered, barely catching his breath, "we need you, otherwise we will fall behind schedule and then… "And then nothing will happen, my child," the Goddess grinned, "perhaps I'll do it... tomorrow," She drawled, listening intently, "Is that all?" After a short silence, Seraphim looked up, tilted his head well back and began to peer into the night sky. - Do you like it? Seraf beamed with a share of delight, clutching the white robes in his fingers like a cloud. - What are you talking about, child? Anger turned to misunderstanding. - My stars, I, - shyly looking away, he smiled selflessly, - worked on many of them. "Commendable," the Goddess replied, finally and nervously falling silent, making it clear as much as possible that She would not forget this shameless prank. "These little dots in the firmament are the work of many, many angels. Apparently, this kid lied to me. He also dared to disturb in the hour of legitimate rest, I'm afraid he deserved to be punished." Meanwhile, there were no first people on Earth yet, there was only a sad life, calmed by Death, which came to her crying. - My dear, my dear, why are you so upset? – the young man asks the virgin. - I'm powerless, I can't, without you, I'm like without hands, my love… - And I can't live without you, my sweet summer baby. But don't be sad, everything will pass, I promise you, And I will be with you to the end, without meanness or a hint. "The goddess is angry with us, my heavenly friends, I'm afraid bad things are waiting for me at her will. He dared to come to her chambers at night, self-appointed… And there will be nothing for you, everything will be fine, my dear. Seraphim turned to Life, laughing with his eyes, smiling sadly. - Your love is not sinful at all, Love each other forever, Like brother and sister, family and blood, Please, dear and eternal ones," after these words, Seraph retired to the east, dreaming of being the first to meet the sun. There was already someone on the Wall of Eden, and in the blond curls the young man recognized the one he met at the launch of the universe. Someone painfully beautiful, whom I did not want to frighten with my arrival at all, for this reason the angel hid in the trees, admiring the departing stars and the rising sun, against whose background the brave Guardian seemed even more charming. - Tell me, honey, that I'm not alone, That you didn't launch that universe in vain… Tell me you like her., Without letting her fall asleep on duty, the desperate song reached the ears of her muse and only became more beautiful from this. "You are not alone, my good one," the Guard replied to the song, - And I launched all this for a reason. I like her endlessly., Show yourself to me, a creature of God," with these words, the angel looked around, knowing perfectly well that it was definitely not the bushes that were singing to him. But his trail was already gone. They came for him from hell. They took him away, not honestly, without trial, but he was ready to run. And seraphim soared into that sky, dreaming of escape – They grabbed the wings, tied them around, then the angel saw the gate, And heard his sad cry filled with despair, But I couldn't say anything – it's God's will, holy, He could not justify his friend, always dreaming about him. - Forgive me, my dear friend, - it will sweep over the sky. - I forgive you, please don't forget me. The Guardian stared at the sky, and the sky was crying with light. The light comet is flying, the tail is long after it. Heaven has forgiven all sins, it cannot forget a friend, And God, the Lord, sits in his dreams, dreaming of the highlands.
