If one of them is dead

Settings
A few days before the incident, Sucrose sent a letter, asking to visit Master Albedo's laboratory. She was nervous about the alchemist's slightly changed behavior. Upon arrival, Aether also saw little Klee, that was sad about something. "Brother Albedo, h-he chased me out of the l-laboratory without saying anything," the girl sobbed, "Maybe he's just tired? O..or he's too busy to pay attention to Dodoco and me.." Sucrose shrugged vaguely and gently hugged the girl. She would also like to know what is going on. On the same day, Traveler went to the Dragonspire; it was as usual cold, but the Warming Seelies helped to warm up as always. Upon arrival at the laboratory, he found the chaotic and ragged movements of the alchemist, which contradicted his eternal grace and accuracy; coming closer, he noticed overwhelming madness and rage in his eyes. The puzzle is complete.

Lying on the ground, in an unknown quantity of blood, a blond Synthetic Human lay pressed down by Traveler`s toned body. Both young men were breathing unevenly, wheezing, after a recent fight. It was impossible to relax, it seems only the Traveler was tense and nervous about the situation. Chalk Prince lay with his eyes narrowed slightly, and a smile was visible on his lips. Not even a smile, more like a grin. The Traveler understood that in order to stop his friend he would have to make a lot of effort, but Albedo trusts him, which means he is obliged to cope no matter how tired he is, no matter how difficult it was, he could not allow this uncontrollable power to destroy Teyvat. "If one day, I lose control... Destroy Mondstadt.... Destroy everything... Can I rely on you to stop me?", the Alchemist asked, looking menacingly and earnestly into the traveler’s eyes. He had made a promise, so he had to do it before it was too late. He was from another world, he could do it. There was no room for doubt, or pity, this was no longer the old Albedo. The safety of the world was at stake now. He was about to stab the alchemist's chest with his sword as Albedo threw him off him. Really, the Prince would just lie there and wait to be killed? Ridiculous. The Traveller tried to grab him with his hand, as Albedo kicked him, knocking him back a few metres and something seemed to rattle around his stomach, possibly a few ribs. The next moment the alchemist began to charge like a storm cloud, with surprising speed. In the blink of an eye, Aether was on his feet, just in time to fend off the enemy's attacks. The enemy. It was difficult and painful to realise. Albedo seemed to feed off the force of his friend's blows. If the Traveller applied a little more force to a blow, he would receive a more clever and precise blow from Prince, that would knock him down if he wanted to. Also, the alchemist moved at a fairly high rate of speed, and the weary Aether barely had time to fight back. He remembered what he was doing it for, and why he was doing it. It added a bit of strength, and concentration, to say the least, and faith in the best. The alchemist accidentally slipped before he could hit, but it was enough to injure him and throw him to the ground, again. Blood oozed from the deep wound in his shoulder, too dark for a human, but not for a Prince. But that didn't stop him, it seemed to only inflame him, and the urge to kill Aether grew stronger and stronger, losing his sanity with each passing second. Trying to reach Albedo was already pointless. Aether decided not to make the same mistake twice, and tried again to stab the alchemist in the chest with his sword as he grabbed the blade with his hand, holding it a few centimetres away from his chest. The Traveller pressed harder, in the same time with his foot pressing on the wound that was on his shoulder to remove his hand and end it all. The alchemist only gave a mad grin (and seemed to be having fun) at this action, and pushed away the hand that was with the Traveller's sword, at which the Aether staggered and could have fallen, but in the next instant all the air seemed to be cut off. The whole world went silent, and lost its colours. Aether didn't fall, something, or rather someone, was holding him. The traveller opened his eyes and saw that Albedo was holding him, but nothing happened. They both seemed to have stopped breathing. The Traveller was about to push Albedo away and kick as something thrust even deeper into his stomach. He was finally beginning to realise what it was. A sword. Once the alchemist pushed him away, that would be the end of it, but he could try to stab him in the back, or punch from the side, though that was unlikely to do anything. Aether used the last of his strength to open his eyes and turn his head to face Albedo. It was hard to recognise him, madness and rage in his eyes, but he seemed amused by the situation, because no one could stop him now. Before succumbing to eternal sleep and breaking his friend's promise, Aether noticed a sober look appear in his friend's eyes. After a few long seconds, the Traveller's weakened body fell dead at Albedo's feet.
