Me.
We were studying the book, when suddenly our friend Oleg and former friends Katya, Takhir and Shamil appeared in front of us.
"What's going on?" Rayla was surprised.
Rayla quickly blocked me.
"Don't go near Danya," she said.
"We came in peace," Oleg answered.
"What happened?" Callum asked.
"Romario left us, he went crazy," Oleg answered.
"Egyptian power," I chuckled, "I knew this day would come. When he goes nuts."
I started to imitate a train.
"Choo-choo-choo. Too-too.
"We need to work together to get him back," Takhir said.
"I'd rather die!" Shamil and I were indignant.
"I won't work with you," I said.
"Hey, why are we here? - asked Shamil. - This idiot only knows how to joke and hide behind his past.
- And you just want to kill everyone, - I answered.
- And anyway ... - both Shamil and I said. - Nothing personal. We fell silent, and then pointed at each other.
- He's a complete freak, - we answered.
- I'll translate for the idiots, - said Shamil. - You're stupid.
- The stupidity is in your pants, - I answered.
- You look like a doll, - said Shamil.
- Go to the garden, - I answered. - We'll stop Romario ourselves. Say hello to Mom. Wait, I'll tell you myself.
- Just dare to touch my mom, - said Shamil. - I'll break your head through the wall.
- Thanks for reminding me, - I answered. - That's why I hate you. Your voice is nasal, like a teenager going through puberty. It's like I'm being dragged and dragged along the asphalt with my balls. It hurts.
"And I hate you because of your disability," Shamil said.
I clenched my fists on the back of the chair.
- Are you going to fight? - Shamil grinned.
- Oh, my God, calm down, - Oleg said.
- I just wanted to lift this chair, - I answered, ignoring Oleg. - Turn it a little and shove it down your throat.
- Your elven whore will be mine, - Shamil grinned, trying to hug Rayla, but she pushed him away.
- Get your hands off my girl! - Callum's eyes lit up.
- If you touch Rayla with a finger, Callum will kill you, - I growled.
Shamil grinned and walked away from Rayla.
- Danil, Romario wants to kill Abeloth, - Oleg said.
- He's definitely an idiot if he thinks he can kill Abeloth, - I answered.
- The same as you, - Tahir and Shamil grinned.
- If you don't need our help, then why did you come to us? - asked Callum.
- You wanted to make fun of the disabled servants, - answered Shamil.
- Why do you hate Danya so much? - asked Callum.
- For his existence, - answered Shamil. - For the fact that he is deaf, it's a pity that he is not blind. We hate the sick and kill them.
Sosnia jumped out of Callum's arms and covered me with her body. - Leave my family alone! - the girl screamed.
- We don't need to kill him, your father doesn't have long left, - smirked Tahir.
- Her father is Callum, - I said. - And I myself am sorry that I am alive.
- Before we die, we will make you suffer, - answered Shamil. - We made the bitch Michelle kill her doppelgängers.
I created a lump of ice and snow and was about to throw it at Shamil, but Ksyusha stopped me.
"They're idiots," Ksyusha said.
"Get out of our sight," I growled.
"We're the real heroes," Shamil said, "and we'll save the Multiverse while you're looking for a pacifier. You're not a hero, you're an invalid who's hiding behind his past and wants attention.
"Well, go away with your pacifier," Ksyusha replied.
Takhir and Shamil created a portal and left.
"Danil, we really need your help," Oleg said.
"I'll help," I replied. Oleg smiled and left.
"I'll go see Ezran," I said, creating a portal to Katolis and going into it.
In Katolis, I hugged my brother Callum and I and walked up to the castle wall. I started looking into the distance. Then I heard a chirping sound. I looked around, then up and saw Stella.
"Danya," I heard beloved and familiar voice.
I turned around.
"They say you're going crazy here," Rayla said. Stella waved at me, and I waved at her.
"Yes," I answered. "I think maybe they're right."
"Maybe they are," Rayla said. "But don't listen to them."
"It's easy for you to say," I answered. "Your heart isn't filled with darkness. And you're not the one who can kick the bucket at any moment.
- Yours too, - said Rayla. - You're a good person, Danya. Maybe the best.
- I'm not a good person and certainly not the best, - I answered. - Never have been and never will be. Dasha said it right, it's a pity that I survived. I regret it myself, that's why I infected myself with cancer. I wanted to do at least something good.
- But it's wrong, - said Rayla, - you have to live.
- I don't want to live, - I answered. - Not in this unfair life that we didn't choose. Maybe this is what fate has in store, but it's no excuse for my existence. We sit with our hands folded, and the people we protect call us their patrons! You ran away from Callum and me!
Rayla was about to interrupt me, but I raised my hand, stopping her.
- Please, let me finish, - I asked. - With our way of life, you can't blame you. You were hurt by thoughts about Viren and your parents. And when people are hurt. They take some small thing and make a big deal out of it. And in my experience, when that happens, you're the one who suffers the most. That's what happened to Callum.
We fell silent.
"I think," I continued, "we should try to change our fate. We've lost too much, especially you."
I offered Rayla my hand.
"The last wish of a dead man," I said.
"What is it?" Rayla asked.
"A journey with you," I answered. "I want to show you the world and true love. Please."
Rayla smiled and put her hand in mine.
"Will you show me polyamory?" the elf chuckled.
"How did you guess?" I chuckled in return.
"I know you inside out," Rayla laughed.
I laughed too. I created a portal and Rayla, Stella and I returned to us. We said that we were going on a trip together.
- Good luck to you, - Callum smiled.
- Thank you, Callum, - Rayla and I hugged him, and then went through the portal to the port.
Rayla.
- Are we going to sail on a ship? - I asked.
The very thought of a ship and water made me afraid.
- Well..., - Danya hesitated, - I thought that traveling on a ship would be more romantic.
I smiled and took his hand.
- And we will have two familiar captains, - Danya smiled.
We saw Willads and Sveta. They were arguing about something.
- What are you doing? - Sveta shouted.
- No, what are you doing? - Willads shouted back.
- No, what are you doing? - Sveta asked. - The captain gives the orders.
- That's right, the captain gives the orders, - answered Villads.
- My ship, I'm the captain, - said Sveta.
- But the map is mine, - answered Villads.
- So be a cartographer, - said Sveta.
- What are we arguing about? - We approached them.
- Rayla, Danya! - Sveta hugged us. - What brought you here?
We told about the trip and about Danya's cancer.
- Oh my God, Danya, why? - asked Sveta.
- It doesn't matter, - answered Dania. - Well, are we going on board?
- Yes! - shouted Willads and his parrot. - Stand at your places, you garbage dogs! To your braces!
We went up on deck.
- Willads, throw me my hat, - said Sveta, taking off her hat and handing it to Willads.
- Of course, captain, - answered Willads, throwing his hat to the crew. - Hurray-a-a-a!
- Now take it back, - said Sveta.
We laughed.
- We're sailing towards the horizon, - Sveta answered, holding the steering wheel. - Ta-da-ta-da. Sveta looked at her compass.
- We're worthless people. Let's have a drink, buddy. Yo-ho.
Rayla and I looked at the water and anticipated a wonderful last voyage.
