Chapter 1

Settings
The man, appearing to be around forty years old, stood behind the right shoulder of His Royal Majesty Harry, King of the United Kingdom, head of more than thirty other states, and the most powerful person on the planet. Few, if any, know about the connection between these two men, so different in origin yet holding such similar positions. Back when he was a gray-bearded professor at the School of Magic and Wizardry, Dumbledore began his infiltration into the royal family. Indeed, he and Gellert had literally bound the monarchs hand and foot with vows and oaths. What a pity that an impatient fool decided to take on more than he could handle. Yes, Gellert was a great loss for the far-reaching plan, but he knew too much, and the new German government could extract memories from his mind. It was necessary to drive the pawn mad, tearing out almost his entire life and replacing it with incoherent ramblings. But there were benefits too. That day, Albus Dumbledore became not just the influential associate of the great Grindelwald, but he himself attained the position of Head of the Confederation. And from the very first day, the middlegame began. It took only fifty years and a hundred and fifty cases of dragon pox to make purebloods and Muggle-borns hate each other with a fiery passion. All it took was to limit one group and start replacing them with the other wherever possible. Opposition and radical groups emerged immediately, and where there is force, there is also resistance. King Harry, or as he is now called, Henry IX, was addressing the public, each sentence provoking applause. He would say nothing harmful, the spells would not even allow him to think of harming Dumbledore's cause. Voldemort, raised as the perfect villain to unite the two warring factions, did his job even better than Albus had anticipated. The aristocracy in Britain ceased to exist as a given, and following the fall of the lords' regime among wizards, the loyal Harry Potter raised the issue of abolishing the archaic system among the poor backward Muggles as well. Of course, there were opponents of this, unexpectedly supported by the new leader of the blue-bloods. A certain Lord Arian Dumbledore, named after his aunt. The son of the great light wizard's brother and heir to his magical power. The Dumbledore name resounded throughout the world again when, in the third magical war, he first defeated all the upstart progressives and then sent Harry Potter to his forefathers. Britain could have breathed a sigh of relief if not for the fall of the Statute. A new persecution of wizards began, the revival of the Inquisition, and other delights of pre-Statute life. But, what a surprise, the Muggles began to run out of weapons. Satellites stopped sending signals, factories came to a halt, power plants were destroyed. The destruction of infrastructure, telecommunications, special units eliminated all nuclear and other weapons of mass destruction. Fortunately, Albus had intervened and achieved significant arsenal reductions from the leaders of the USA and USSR in his time, and everything went smoothly enough. In just ten years, the Ahnenerbe squads, which had been hiding and gathering strength and recruits for years, turned the Muggles' armed forces into a vestigial remnant, and then set about eliminating scientists and all the developments of the last five hundred years. Dumbledore only had to divide the liberated lands among his followers and ensure that the newly minted kings of Europe and newly regained colonies didn't do anything foolish. The loudest advocates for preservation underwent memory modification courses and became fighters against science and technology. Some areas had to be placed under mass memory modification spells. And the Muggles' desire to know more than they should still sticks in the craw. But the job is almost done. England and a few other countries, the fastest to adapt to the new realities, stand at the helm of the new world. And Albus himself, or rather Arian, as he is now called, holds the king of the most powerful country in one hand, and the Ahnenerbe and magical aristocracy in the other. The king returned to his throne with other country leaders, and Arian took his place as head of the International Confederation of Wizards. The common good that the bearded headmaster fed to everyone around? There is no common good, only personal. And he achieved his personal goal.
