Getting to know the characters of the fanfic
June 23, 2024 at 3:34 PM
The most important characters:
Ivy Montague — is a young girl of 16 years old. Daughter of Francesco Marchetti, Count of Mantua and his wife Violetta Marchetti (née De Rosa). Niece of Signora Marcella Montague. The girl bore the surname of her late parents, but upon arriving in Verona, with her aunt's permission, she began to call herself Montague. She is very good with a sword and dagger, and is engaged in martial arts. She feels a burning hatred for Tybalt, but during the story, hatred will turn into love. (You can see her appearance at the link indicated in the fanfic header.)
Tybalt Capulet — Pavel Maximov. In my version, he is 17 years old, and not fourteen as in the play. In my fanfic, he is more reserved in character than in Shakespeare's play and in musicals. However, Tybalt's character is no different in any way, but I added a few other traits to his character that will appear during the story. Also during the story, Tybalt will have to sort out his feelings for his cousin and niece, Signora Montague.
Romeo Montague — is the son of Signor Montague and Signora Montague. It is he and Juliet, and two other heroes of the fanfic, who are destined to end this absurd feud between the two families. He is 15 years old. He does not wear the coat of arms of his family - a scarf, because he wants peace to come to the two families. He does not participate in the fights of the two families. He dreams of love and is looking for the only one whom he will truly love. (Andrei Alexandrin with long hair. Costume from 2004).
Juliet Capulet — Sofia Nizharadze.
Main characters:
Signor Marchetto (Marco) Montague — head of the Montague family, Benvolio's uncle. (James Graham, who played the head of the Montague family in the English version of this legendary musical.)
Signora Marcella Montague (née Marchetti) — wife of the head of the Montague family, sister of the Count of Mantua and Ivy's aunt. (Brigitte Vanditti. Only instead of beautiful long hair and an elegant headdress, short hair, pinned back with an elegant braid.)
Benvolio Montague — nephew of Signor Montague. He is known throughout Verona as the calmest Montague. Romeo's best friend and cousin, and also Ivy's named cousin. (Alexander Postolenko.)
Balthazar and Abraham — are the Montague servants. (Their appearance is taken from the 2013 film "Romeo and Juliet.")
Signor Constantine Capulet — Alexander Marakulin.
Signora Valentina Capulet — Monique Bursma, only instead of her spectacular hairstyle, she has slightly curled, loose hair.
Valencio Capulet — the younger nephew of Signora Capulet and the younger brother of Tybalt. He is much more aggressive than his older brother and hates all the Montagues much more. The only thing that connects the two brothers is their hatred for their aunt's husband, but otherwise Valencio does not maintain relations with his older brother at all, but lives with him under the same roof. (Tybalt from the Japanese version of the musical of the Takarazuka Theater.)
Signor Alexei Capulet — a man of 40 years old. The younger brother of Signor Capulet. He will come with his wife from Florence to visit his brother for a ball in honor of his niece and will stay in his brother's house until the end of the story. He has a wife and two daughters. He also fiercely hates his brother's wife, but at the same time sincerely loves his niece, wife and daughters. (Appearance: Ivan Ozhogin.)
Signora Margarita Capulet (née Russo) — is a 37-year-old woman. The wife of Alexei Capulet and the mother of two daughters. (Similar to Signora Capulet from the Italian version, only her hair is white, not red, and her eyes are blue.)
Rosaline Capulet — is a 15-year-old girl. The eldest daughter of Alexei and Margarita, as well as the eldest and beloved niece of the head of the Capulet house. The girl is very friendly with Juliet and, like her, is trying to find her love. In the future, the lady of Mercutio's heart. (Appearance: Svetlana Isaeva, the costume is the same as in the Russian musical, only the color of the costume is red, not blue.)
Libia Capulet — is a 13-year-old girl. The youngest daughter of Alexei and Margarita, as well as the youngest niece of Signor Capulet. She is Valencio's favorite adopted cousin and embarks on all sorts of adventures with him, which her father and her uncle are not happy about. In the future, she will become Paris's lover. (Similar to Cecilia Cara, who played Juliet in the original French musical, only fair-haired.)
Muetta (Mute) — is a 16-year-old girl. Juliet's best friend and Benvolio Montague's lover. She cannot speak and communicates only with gestures. Because of this, she is known throughout Verona as the Mute. (Appearance: Liliya Truntseva, who played the Mute in the theater production of 7th Morning.)
The Nurse — Natalia Sidortsova. (She is the oldest woman in the Capulet house. She is 62 years old. She is from a very noble German family—this is the only fact about her that the Capulets know. The Nurse hides her past very well, because she does not want to remember what happened to her many years ago. She does not even tell anyone her name, because she has long forgotten it. However, in the course of the story, her past and name will come to light.)
Peter — the Nurse's assistant. (Remotely resembles Nuno Resende.)
Gregory and Samson — the Capulet servants. (Their appearance is taken from the 2013 film "Romeo and Juliet.")
Adele — the girl who Tybalt speaks beautiful words about love, but in reality his thoughts were occupied with his cousin and his main enemy — Ivy. In the end, the girl will be forgotten by Tybalt, because of which terrible curses will immediately fly from the girl's lips. (Appearance: Natalia Terekhova).
Duke Bartolomeo (Escal) della Scala — Attila Nemeth.
Valeria della Scala — the only child of the Duke and his wife. She is 15 years old. She is Ivy Montague's best friend. She wears gray and black colors, thereby showing respect for her father and maintaining neutrality in this conflict of two families, like her father. But at the same time, the girl hates Tybalt Capulet and her cousin - Ricardo della Scala. But in the process of the story, hatred will turn into friendship. (Natalie Dormer.)
Victoria Bianchi (née della Scala) — the middle and only sister of the Duke of Verona. She is 42 years old. She buried her husband long ago and leads a quiet and calm life in Padua, managing the lands that she inherited from her late husband. She sent her only child, Paris, to the care of her older brother long ago. She will come to Verona when she learns from a letter from her nephew about what her son is doing. (Signora Montague from the Japanese version of the musical by the Takarazuka Theater.)
Paris Bianchi — the son of Victoria Bianchi and her late husband, whose name has already been forgotten. The only nephew of the Duke of Verona on his sister's side and perhaps the most damaged. Will woo Juliet, but when Signor Capulet refuses to marry his daughter, he will turn his gaze to Signor Capulet's niece, Livia. (Mohamed Abdel Fattah).
Mercutio — Stanislav Belyaev.
Valentin della Scala — middle the Duke's nephew on his brother's side. He is 16 years old. Like his older brother, he chose the Montague side, forever wearing blue. However, he communicates better with his cousin than with his brother. The only thing that connects him and Mercutio is hatred for Tybalt. And nothing else unites him with Mercutio. However, it is he who is destined to die from Tybalt's blade. In the play, he plays a secondary role, and does not appear at all in the musicals, but in my story his role is expanded and he also has several songs. (Similar to Mercutio from the Italian version, only red-haired.)
Riccardo della Scala — the younger brother of Mercutio and Valentine, who chose the Capulet side, forever wearing red. He is 15 years old. He is Tybalt's best friend. He hates Montague fiercely, but he will accept his friend's choice and will not let his beloved be offended. (Mercutio from the German version of the musical.)
The Girl in White — Death, Destiny and just a good dancer. (Oksana Podoley.)
The poet — Fabien Deva.
The author, that is, me, is the Creator of this creation. I will appear throughout almost the entire work.
