What could be better and more beautiful on any day? Evening, two best friends, a walk along the path and good weather. During a beautiful sunset, when the sun very slowly went down into the ocean, very slowly changing into the night, the hedgehog Amy Rose and the rabbit Cream walked along, not paying attention to the sunset and talking to each other about their own. Nothing like that could ruin this evening. โ€” And what did he tell you later? โ€” Cream was interested, discussing Tails. โ€” Oh, don't ask! He still tries to assure me and claims that Sonic and I are too different and that we will never have anything romantic in our lives. โ€” Amy explained a little grumpily. On the other hand, she didn't want to offend Cream, so she held back a little. โ€” And I think the opposite. โ€” Cream answers. โ€” Maybe he will never recognize your love for him and you will never be together. But I'm sure that his inner and spiritual love for you, which he's been trying to hide from you all this time, is still somewhere inside him. And it always will be... Probably. โ€” Chao-chao. โ€” sang Chao, who was flying next to Cream, supporting her. โ€” Only you always understand me and always support me. โ€” says Amy, keeping a smile on her face. โ€” If I had your problems, Amy? I wouldn't suffer from them. Maybe you're just trying to hit on him a little the wrong way. โ€” suggested Cream. โ€” What are you hinting at? โ€” Amy looked suspiciously at Cream, and the latter explains: โ€” Maybe it's that you see him all the time, shouting like Sonic, look, I'm here, hey Sonic-Sonic! And then you run to him and try to hug him. Maybe this way you only make your goal worse and he just feels a little cramped around you. Haven't you tried to find a different approach. You could have just called him and talked to him while he was free, tried to help him yourself, for example, save him, just like he saved you several times, and then pretended to run away from him. โ€” Don't be offended, Cream, but I think you're talking nonsense. I love Sonic. Whenever I see him, I'm immediately drawn to him... And I can't resist. You still won't understand me on this topic. โ€” Amy explained. โ€” I don't understand, but I can easily support it. โ€” Cream excused herself, to which Chao sang, confirming her words. โ€” Mister Shadow tells me that I'm still too young to understand all this. However, sooner or later I will begin to understand it when I grow up. Having finished talking among themselves, they turned their attention to the sun, which was already halfway out to sea and seemed like a piece of an oval. โ€” Oh no. I mean, it's already very late. I need to get home as soon as possible. โ€” Cream explained. โ€” Don't worry, I'll walk you home if you want. โ€” she-hedgehog reassured the rabbit. They held hands and walked on. A fork in the road appeared and they began to think where to go. โ€” Let's go through the forest, it's shorter. โ€” the pink hedgehog explained. โ€” No, I won't go there. I'm scared. โ€” the rabbit was scared and Chao joined her. โ€” Do you really think that Dr. Eggman and his robots will jump out and kidnap you? โ€” Amy chuckled quietly. โ€” Worse, Amy. There's a beast there... Half wolf, half hedgehog... So big... So gigantic... Dark... And scary. โ€” Cream barely managed to say out of fear. โ€” Mom told me that he appears there every night and usually only when the full moon shines in the night sky. โ€” he will attack those who walk through this forest at night, scratch them, hurt them, and even tear off parts of their bodies, and then eat them. Remember how last night Shadow himself came back from there all scratched and with a bruise under his right eye? And how the week before last Big came back from there, missing a limb of his left leg? โ€” Don't tell stupid fairy tales, Cream! โ€” Amy laughed. โ€” They probably fought with more powerful robots of Dr. Eggman and that's why they came back like this. And that very beast you're talking about is just a new robot that Eggman started to scare everyone with. Cream grabbed her friend by the shoulders and looked at her with an angry look. โ€” I'm serious, Amy! My mother never lied to me. Our father didn't come back from there either, because he didn't just disappear. He was attacked by that very beast and probably ate him. โ€” Calm down! โ€” she-hedgehog slowly took the rabbit off her shoulders and put her on the ground. โ€” I'm telling you, there is no night beast in the forest. Especially since I'm with you. If anything happens, I'll protect you. โ€” No, I still won't go there. As you wish, you can go there and the beast will tear you to pieces too, but I'm out of here. I'd rather take a very long and safe path. โ€” Cream answered and walked along the path to the meadow with daisies. โ€” It's better to get a slap on the back of the head from your mother or listen to her curses for being late than to take a short and dangerous path! โ€” Chao-chao. โ€” Chao supported her. โ€” Hm. Well, go ahead! โ€” the hedgehog answered with a grin, turned away and laughed. โ€” And I'll go this way. I'll prove to you that your fairy tales are complete nonsense. I'll go there, and I'll come back safe and sound. See for yourself! And they split up. Each went her own way. Cream chose to go with Chao along a safe, but very long road, and the hedgehog went along a short, but very dangerous road. Nothing scared her. She just laughed at everything the rabbit told her. โ€” A werehog! Heh. Nonsense. โ€” she said to herself. The pink hedgehog walked calmly between the trees and was not afraid of anything. She looked back along the way only out of curiosity, because sometimes she noticed how the flicky birds flew past or, for example, how the same ones sat in a hollow and sang. Of course, she couldn't help but enjoy this singing on the way. And she didn't notice how the sunset had already passed, and the sky became dark. In general, the forest itself was black and in shadows, so she didn't pay attention to it either. In the dark sky, bright dots were shining from afar, and the flicky birds flew away, who where. A large moon was also visible in the sky, of which only a small piece was in the darkness. And when it also began to shine, a wolf howl was heard somewhere in the distance. The pink hedgehog first stopped for a minute from hearing the howl and looked around. โ€” No-o-o! โ€” she firmly hammered this word into her head and went on. Having passed between two bushes, she found herself near a puddle and a stone next to it, near which two fly agarics grew. โ€” It seems to me or are the places familiar? โ€” Hm-m. Amy Rose got lost in the black forest and doesn't know where to go next. โ€” HEY!!! HEY!!! Aw-w-w!!! โ€” she screamed and called for help, but no one answered. Suddenly, Amy Rose heard a small stick snap from a tree branch behind her. She slowly turned her head back, but there was no one there. Picking up a small stick from the ground, the hedgehog slowly walked to the place where the sound of the branch came from. From time to time, she looked back. When she turned her head to the left, whose black shadow ran to her right side, which she did not even have time to see, turning sharply. โ€” Uh... Sonic...! Was that you? โ€” she asks quietly, holding her head straight and looking around only with her pupils. She threw the wooden stick on the floor, snapped her fingers and her golden hammer appeared in her hands. A black shadow ran quickly behind her and stepped on a puddle, giving itself away, thereby making the sound of a shoe stepping on water. Amy turned sharply and threw her hammer, but it fell into an empty puddle, without hitting anyone. The one who ran past was not visible. โ€” Cream...? Listen, stop scaring me! Tell me you're just kidding me! However, no one answered her. For a second, it seemed to her as if someone giggled in a scary voice. โ€” Eggman...? Of course! Is this your doing? โ€” Amy grinned. โ€” Stop hiding! I know it's you and that you're somewhere here. You can't scare me so easily. I'm not afraid of ghosts or fairy tales. And especially not of some animals. Someone's growl was heard in response. The hedgehog turned to the left side, where the growling was coming from, and ran there with a loud scream. She swung her hammer and hit the bushes. However, there was no one there. โ€” Iโ€™m sick of this. Stop playing hide and seek with me! โ€” she-hedgehog panicked. Loneliness and the feeling that someone was watching her in the dark scared her to the point of urination. She began to look around to see where the various sounds were coming from, and at the same time swung her hammer. โ€” Stop playing hide and seek with me! Iโ€™m not afraid of you anyway. CAN YOU HEAR ME??? Iโ€™M NOT AFRAID OF YOU!!! Suddenly she heard the wolf howl again. However, this howl was screaming louder, as if the wolf that howled so was next to her. The pink hedgehog turned back sharply and in front of her from above, a huge monster landed. Svid looked like a hedgehog, but big and scary. His eyes sparkled like an owl's, his skin was dark gray, instead of teeth there were huge fangs, there were claws on his fingers, all from his feet to his hands was covered in dark blue fur with shades of white, and on his feet were dark red boots with spikes. The monster itself looked at the hedgehog very menacingly and growled terribly. From the shock caused by the rhinestone, Amy's grip weakened slightly, from which she threw away her hammer and looked at the monster with fear. At the same time as fear, the same words about the beast that Cream told her about the beast flew through her head. It turns out that she was telling the truth about the beast, and Amy was wrong not to listen to her? โ€” We-e-e-e-ererererER-RE-E-EH-HO-O-O-O-OG!!! โ€” Amy stuttered, barely able to recover from the shock, quickly grabbed the hammer and ran. The werehog stood on his hands and ran after her on all fours. No matter how fast Amy ran, the werehog ran twice as fast as her. Having reached the small stones and running between two trees, she grabbed a large branch from the tree on the right, pulled it slightly behind her as she ran and let go. The branch immediately returned and with one blow to the muzzle, threw the monster back. He was so little behind her. However, he ran on. Having run between the trees, the monster looked around and did not understand where the pink hedgehog ran off to. He began to sniff and slowly walked on all fours along the path. Rose at this time was hiding behind a large oak tree on the side. She hoped that he would not find her. She wanted to quietly pass by this tree and run away before he found her. However, she did not notice and accidentally stepped on a small stick, which immediately broke and made its sound. The werehog immediately heard this sound and slowly began to approach the oak. The hedgehog, pressing her back to the tree, knew that he was approaching her. Her heartbeat began to sound louder and faster, and her breath came out through her mouth uncontrollably. She covered her mouth with her free hand and tried to remain silent. However, due to lack of breath, she began to moan through her hand, thereby giving herself away more. The werehog knew about this and began to approach the tree with slow steps. Amy realized that she had nowhere to run and would have to fight. She tightly clutched the hammer in her hands and when the monster approached, she jumped out with a scream and swung it. However, the monster immediately seemed to evaporate and the hedgehog missed when trying to hit him. Realizing that the werehog had disappeared somewhere, she slowly and carefully came out from behind the oak tree to look around. The werehog was behind her at this time and was very slowly approaching her, sniffing. Amy immediately felt his breath behind her, swallowed quietly and as soon as the monster was too close to her, she turned sharply and hit. The blow from the hammer only pushed the monster away from her, after which he only shook his head and growled terribly. The hedgehog could not think of anything except throwing her hammer at him and just running away. However, the werehog dodged the hammer flying at him, extended his right hand, it stretched out and grabbed the running hedgehog by the right leg, after which she sharply pulled her back to herself. โ€” NO, STOP!!! LET ME GO!!! โ€” She screamed and tried to break free, even grabbed onto stones or branches along the way, but everything was okay. When the hand was pulled back to the monster, he was holding Amy by the leg, throwing her over himself to a large rock and she found herself in a dead end. Neither left, nor right, nor even forward could she run, since she was literally cornered, and the werehog immediately jumped to where she was looking. When Amy Rose realized that she had nowhere to run now, it was too late. Standing on all fours, a large and shaggy hedgehog wolf slowly crept up to the hedgehog, growling terribly and sniffing. Out of fear, the pink hedgehog only turned her head to the right side, afraid to look at what he would do to her. When he suddenly opened his mouth and showed sharp fangs with drool, she was frightened even more that she herself screamed briefly and covered her eyes, and her head was already jerking sharply from fear. She already wanted him to eat her quickly or whatever he would do to her, so that she would not suffer for so long. However, the monster does nothing of the sort. He only sniffs her from head to toe and, as if recognizing a familiar scent in her, he became quiet, smiled and stuck out his tongue, lightly licking her from cheek to ear. After that, he immediately ran away and left her alone. Amy herself was surprised that the monster left her unharmed, only slobbering on her. She heard his howl again, but this time it was far from her and sounded completely different than the previous times. She wanted to get up from her place and run away, but she was afraid that this monster would return, attack her and eat her this time. Having caught her breath, she remained pressed against that stone, looking around and still trembling with fear until she fell asleep.       She woke up the next morning in the same forest, near the same stone, hearing everyone shouting her name and calling her. Apparently she was gone all night, and Cream began to fear for her, so she gathered everyone to look for her, hoping that she was still alive. Well, of course, it was she with her mother and Shadow. And Cream was surprised that Amy was found safe and sound. The hedgehog was also glad that she remained alive and could now return home. After that, she never went into that forest again and was generally afraid to go there, even during the day. However, from that day on, she was tormented by questions all her life: Who was this werehog and why did he spare her? Maybe it was Amy's friend who recognized her, or maybe he just fell in love with her? And the fact that he licked her on the left side of her head, on the one hand, looked disgusting, but on the other hand, it looked as if a tame dog kissed her. The main thing is that this night also served as a lesson for her and after that she never doubts or smirks at Cream's stories about some monsters or fairy-tale creatures that she learned or heard about. Now she immediately begins to trust her or simply tries to make sure that she is telling the truth. And the moral is simple. Trust anyone who tells you about what he saw or heard! Even your closest and most loyal friends!
