After settling into their tents, the children split into groups and are now listening to instructions from their mentors, introducing their counselors and explaining in what situations it is necessary to call adults. Despite the importance of the information, children remain children, and therefore whisper among themselves. — «There will be candy here, right?» — «I want to go to the sea already…» — «Aqua, what do you think about…» «Aqua?» One girl with cherry-colored hair heard the name. A suspiciously familiar name. She shakes her head, looking for a child with blond hair. It can’t be that this name was so common that there is another, another Aqua, not the one who took away some of her screen time in the film. Having found two children with blond hair, she is convinced: he is here. Aqua is here! — «Aqua!» She no longer pays attention to the briefing, making her way through the crowd to the twins. — «Aqua!» — she repeats. — «Do you remember me? I’m Arima Kana.» The two interrupt their conversation, looking in the direction of the newcomer. The boy is the first to respond: — «Ah… Arima Kana… Oh, I remember. You were filmed in one movie I was invited to too.» Ruby remembers this slightly arrogant lady, but does not remember what line was attributed to her. — «What was it like? A genius child who can lick up all the baking soda?» — «A genius child who can make anyone cry!» — Kana replied offendedly, this phrase was often remembered first due to its similarity. — «Oh, right. Sorry», — the girl says, smiling guiltily. Unnoticed by the chatterers, the briefing is declared over, but it seems as if it has just begun. But it's easier for them, they can stop whispering and talk out loud and find new friends. Or chat with old acquaintances. — «And you were sent here? I didn't expect that.» — «Yes, we are too», — Ruby responded. — «Then we will spend this month together? It's more fun when there're three of us!» The three of them are walking along the road decorated with garlands and bright ribbons prepared for the opening of the new season, discussing the place they were brought to. So far they could only discuss the appearance of the camp, because they have not seen anything else yet. — «In principle, you could film fairs here, they look very similar», — Kana says. — «Why film them if you can enjoy a walk and shopping?» — Ruby echoes her. — «You are not so far-sighted, I am thinking about the work that can be organized here.» — «In this case, you will not organize anything until you have the necessary equipment», — Aqua decides to stop their pointless argument, turning it into a discussion of something else. — «Kana, do you know yet what competitions will be held here?» — «Mh, do you want to participate in something?» — «I wanted to dance like… an idol!» — Ruby immediately says. — «Ah, a dance competition… Honestly, I don't know anything. They'll tell us everything later. We just got here, after all.» The children finally approach the tent, which, surprisingly, is located much further from the peculiar fair. Four children are in the tent, Aqua pulled out a card with a picture of a white tiger — this is a way to mark the tents, and Ruby pulled out a red fox, but after a little shamanism at the entrance (she really didn't want to part with her brother), she found a card of the same tent as Aqua's. It's good that the organizers weren't looking so closely. — «Have you settled in yet?» — Arima asks. — «Basically, yes. Do you want to sit with us?» — Aquamarine asks. Smiling, Kana immediately says: — «Of course!»***
In about half an hour, the counselors gather the kids to show them the surroundings, tell them where everything is and where they should never go without an adult. Today will be a day without events, and tomorrow morning, after getting acquainted with the camp traditions, the children will be told about the competitions planned for this month. — «I really want to take part in them!» — Ruby says. — «I wonder what the theme is?» — «It’s obvious», — Kana replies. — «All the themes will definitely be related to summer and fun, where would we be without it.» — «I can’t wait for it to start!» The girls are already looking forward to shining on stage. There have never been any difficult conditions for children’s competitions, and with Ruby’s memories from her past life, this won’t be a problem for her. In the morning, as promised, the schedule of events is announced: a small competition in a race with obstacles and riddles, a music competition — you can choose whether you will sing yourself or just dance, solo or in a group, and once every two weeks, flying lanterns will be launched, decorated by each child. For the competition, the children will share the simplest way — they will draw cards with animals, and they will decide on the musical number themselves, here you need to select a team based on the sense of rhythm, musical preferences, or they will figure out without a team at all. In the meantime, they need to make friends while spending time together on the beach. Well, what summer can children do without swimming?
