All he had to do was find the last fragment of the tablet in his world, as he himself was sure. Having reached the tracks along which the train was passing by, Shadow looked around. Something began to worry him. Goosebumps seemed to run through his body, and the hedgehog himself did not understand what scared him so much. Although he himself was a little calm. He looks up, as if his intuition told him to do this and he suddenly saw a large one-eyed monster with tentacles that was slowly descending from the starry night sky to Earth. He grabbed a couple of buildings with his tentacles and destroyed them. Panic began and people ran away in all directions. With the help of his new vision, Shadow examined the giant and realized that it was not a giant monster, but the spaceship itself, inside which contained a whole army of the same monsters. There was someone else with them, who had something glowing in his hand. This was the very fragment that he needed. — Oh no! Not him! — Shadow was indignant to himself, as if he knew him and that when he returned, everything would be very bad. — Black Doom! Unexpectedly for him, a hologram image of Black Doom appeared in front of him. — Hello, Shadow. I am aware of your presence here. I assume this is what you're looking for? — the alien asked, showing the fragment itself in his hand. — Where did you find him? — Shadow asked sternly. — Nowhere. By some miracle, he himself ended up with me when I left your planet. Then, when he showed up, incredible energy was discovered within him, more powerful than the Chaos Emeralds. And then I decided to return here early. I also know that you took down a couple of people from R.U.N. who were previously my previously bribed secret agents from Earth who were supposed to prepare everything for my return. But I didn't think they would betray me. However, you were able to defeat them and for this I will give you a chance to serve me, Shadow the Hedgehog. Join us and together we will destroy this pathetic planet. — Black Doom finished. - What if I refuse? — asked Shadow. - Well, then I'll force you. - the monster hissed and his hologram disappeared. Shadow again found himself alone in the same alley, next to the rails and looked at the giant monster in the sky opening its mouth. A bunch of the same small monsters fly out of it. — “Next and last on the list is the alien shit-eater.” — Shadow thought to himself. — “A cruel tyrant and dictator, a real monster, who can also be called the Devil... And his name is... Black Doom. No matter what his name is... For me, he always remains a bastard who is also partially tied to the murder of Professor Jerold.” Four monsters with tentacles and single eyes in the middle flew up and met Shadow himself. — Here he is! Take him! One of them is the first to attack, and Shadow jumps and while jumping hits him on the back with both legs. He grabs the second one by the tentacles, spins him around, thereby hitting the remaining two and throwing him at the first. Having dealt with them, the hedgehog runs out of the alley and runs to the city center, where a giant monster-like spaceship lands. He runs on grinders, as if skating on ice and looks around. More of the same alien creatures were flying along the road. Some noticed him and flew after him, trying to catch him. At the same time, Shadow still heard Black Doom’s voice in his head: — “Shadow, I don’t want to hurt you and attack you! Please! Don't resist my army! Stop and obey us!” — You can’t wait! — the hedgehog answered to himself and heard the guardian’s voice: — “Resist him further, Shadow. Although I am weakened, my telepathy will try to protect your mind and your body from his control over you as much as it can so that you get to him and stop him.” — “Don’t listen to him!” — Watchguardian’s voice was immediately interrupted by the voice of Black Doom in Shadow’s head. However, the hedgehog ignored him and ran on, sometimes knocking down incoming alien monsters along the way. Shadow runs on his bots and jumps over the resulting gap with divided roads. Having almost reached the huge monster ship, Shadow knocks all the monsters out of the way and makes his way through the mouth-hatch inside. Inside, the alien monster ship itself looked basically like a real spaceship with iron walls. Black Doom at this time takes the fragment of the tablet in his hand and examines it. — Mister Doom, we conducted several experiments on this stone. She possesses some power more powerful than the Chaos Emeralds. This force is not under our control and is not yet familiar to our world. — Don’t know me?... Are you saying that this stone is from another universe? — Maybe. And for this reason, Shadow the Hedgehog is looking for him, just like those two. He has already defeated the Tumor and the mafia emperor R.U.N, who have mastered him just like us. — Well. In this case, let him come to us and try to take him away from me. — Black Doom suggested and tried to absorb the power of the fragment, drawing it into himself. — If other fragments made the Tumor and the mafia emperor stronger, let’s see how they affect me! Suddenly, Black Doom began to change in appearance and turned into a huge dragon-like monster with clawed fingers. Finding himself in this guise, he got down on all fours and growled at the top of his lungs: — SHA-A-ADO-O-OW-W-W!!! Of course, the black-scarlet himself heard his screams and, running further, answered only to himself as if he were answering Black Doom himself: — I hear you. I've been waiting for this moment for a long time, Black Doom. Today your tyranny will end. While he was running, Black's voice was heard over the loudspeakers on the walls: — Welcome aboard, Shadow! Look around — do you know where you are? — In a combat zone? — Shadow asked, and Doom answered him: — No. This is my ship. I flew it to Gerald Robotnik a couple of years ago and made a deal with him so that he would find the Chaos Emeralds and give them to me. This is why he created you. You are my son, Shadow. My blood flows in you. I don't want to fight with you. Just join us and together we will take over and rule this pathetic planet like father and son. — You will not get it! I am Shadow the Hedgehog, the perfect life form. I obey only myself and serve no one. Even you, monster. I may be your son, but you will never be called my father. — ULF answered sternly and crouched down, rolling past the door, which almost closed on the way, but fortunately, before the hedgehog slipped under it, he was not even crushed by the doors. He found himself in a large hall of iron walls, shrouded in slightly purple slime and brown tentacles, where Shadow was surrounded by flying one-eyed octopuses and clawed humanoids with huge fanged jaws instead of heads. They all flew to the ULF at once. The latter was not taken aback and, standing in a fighting stance, deliberately waited for them to fly too close to him. The first of them flew up and the hedgehog jumped over it. Taking out one of his pistols in a jump, he shot him from behind on the fly. When the second one ran up, he began to spin around until his head was spinning, grabbed him and threw him against three more of the same, knocking them to the floor. Another one came running from behind him and tried to grab him, but ULF reacted in time and, bending down, extended his leg, kicking him in the eye. Looking around, Shadow notices five more rushing towards him. He gathers more Chaos power into himself and shouts: — CHAOS BLAST!!! An explosion occurs and the aliens around him die from the explosion. He looked around again and realized that there was no one else from the ambush and he ran on. Black Doom continued to tell him at this time: — Why do you continue to resist and attack me? Stop and obey immediately! — Never! There was a large gate on the way and the ULF knocked it out with a running start. Rushing inside, he sees in front of him another hall with columns. In this room there were six monsters with muscles that looked like gorillas. — Don’t stand there like a pillar, stop him! — Black Doom orders. The monsters are running to attack and Shadow realized in time to run along the column, reaching the ceiling, doing a spider somersault and landing before the monsters themselves, who were running behind. When they also unhooked from the columns and fell, Shadow stood up on his hands, and then sharply extended his legs and kicked one of the monsters with them, so that he flew up and hit the other five with his back. When they fell and almost managed to come to their senses, Shadow managed to run to the last door and runs further. On the way, ULF used Chaos Blast again and blew up the passage behind him. While the monsters were digging a passage to break through, Shadow almost reached Black Doom. Black-scarlet makes his way through the last corridor to the pilot's cabin, where Black Doom himself was guarded by two monsters with muscles and one eye, like a Cyclops. — You got caught! — says the hedgehog. — No, Shadow. You're the one who got caught! — the alien answers. Black Doom's two faithful guards slowly approached the hedgehog, like a big guy on a juvenile. They did not frighten the ULF at all. He took a fighting stance and waited for them to get too close to him. They attacked at the same time, raising their huge paws up and slamming them onto the floor. Shadow jumped and with his left grabbed the hedgehog with both hands, not letting go. Black-Scarlet again uses the force of the explosion to escape from the enemy's hands and at the same time possesses them, forcing them to move back. ULF jumped again and began to quickly hit the right fighter’s face with his hands. At that moment, the left one tried to hit the hedgehog with his fist, but the latter, anticipating the blow, managed to dodge and the big guy hit his partner on the head, causing him to fall. — Chaos control! - the hedgehog says and wraps the legs of the second big guy. He tripped and fell on his partner. Black Doom's guards lost consciousness and the hedgehog jumped on the alien invader himself. However, he extended his clawed hand, Shadow was enveloped in a red aura and froze in place. — “You shouldn’t have listened to me and went against your father.” — he says to the hedgehog, bringing his muzzle closer. Shadow's eyes bulged from what he heard and, not believing what he heard, asks: — What? The villain sharply extended his hand to the side and the black-scarlet was thrown back and pressed against the wall. The villain also brought his vile muzzle closer to him and began to whisper in his ear: — You still don’t understand anything yourself, Shadow? Didn't that old man who's in your head like me tell you? — What are you talking about? — Shadow asks through clenched teeth. — “Don't listen to him, Shadow! He needs you to believe him and come over to his side.” — “Don’t interfere, old man!” — Black Doom mentally conveys to Watchguardian in the hedgehog’s head. Watchguardian says: — “This monster is not your father! He is your enemy." Shadow immediately glowed red again, and the red changed to blue. ULF flew out sharply from the wall and hit the alien’s left red eye with his right fist. The leader of the invasion from outer space stepped back from the pain in his eye and did not have time to come to his senses when he was hit by Shadow in a jump with both legs in a very sore spot, which is usually located between the legs. Black Doom did not know what to do and why he could not take control of the mind and body of the traitor hedgehog. Shadow curled up into a ball and spinning in the air, and also shining red, began to seem to fly in the air, bouncing off the wall from the wall, and even hitting Black. Boom boom, bam bam. The alien monster was in pain. — Enough! — Doom said sternly and took the fragment itself, which he was holding in his hands, and pressed it to his chest. The tablet fragment was absorbed into Black Doom's body and he absorbed the power of the fragment. The alien itself began to shine red and emitted a kind of yellow smoke from itself. Black Doom grabbed Shadow's lump with his right hand and threw it aside. He crashed into the wall and landed clutching his shoulder. — Now it’s clear what power these traitors from R.U.N received for their strength. And now she's mine. — the monster answers. He himself changed and began to look like a huge bird, similar to a griffin, wolf, bear, crocodile and shark. The monster has now become an unknown type of monster to science. He began to teleport, leaving black feathers in his place, which disappeared after a couple of seconds. Finding himself behind Shadow, he hit the hedgehog from the back with his hind paw and he rolled to the floor. He tried to get up, gritting his teeth in pain. — Now I am stronger and invincible. With this shard's power, I no longer need these pathetic Chaos Emeralds. Taking out sharp spikes instead of feathers on his wings and sticking them out, Black waved and tried to injure the hedgehog, but the latter jumped away. Doom immediately re-ported in front of him and hit him with his head, pushing him to the floor. Then he stood up with his right paw, stepped on him and pressed him to the floor, not allowing him to stand up. — Chaos... Control! — Shadow barely said through his teeth, trying to free himself and then disappeared with a flash. Black Doom began to look around and did not have time to dodge, as Shadow with Chaos Blast suddenly appeared in front of his face and pushed the monster against the wall. ULF teleported to the monster's face and began to very quickly hit him in the eye with his fists at a speed of a billion blows per second. It hurt, even too much. Black Doom teleported behind the hedgehog and tried to grab him. However, the hedgehog foresaw this and also teleported. The hedgehog found himself on top and fell on his head, shouting: — CHAOS BLAST!!! — after the explosion, he jumped down and, releasing his hands, shouted: — CHAOS SPEAR!!! — red rays flew out of his hands and also hit Black Doom’s eye. The monster flapped its wings and caused something like a tornado. He circled and tried to knock down the hedgehog with his wings, but he ran right through him in Chaos Control and hit him in the eye with his foot, and then also with the Chaos Spear. At one point, Black grabbed the ULF with his hand, but he teleported from his hand to the ceiling and, cutting a huge chandelier from the chain, hit the monster on the head with the chandelier itself. The monster got hit on the head, spat out the fragment itself and turned back into its previous appearance, after which it fell to the ground. — No! My strength! I was defeated! The flying fragment fell into Shadow's hands. — Finally! The last fragment of the tablet! The Guardian will be happy and saved. — he said to himself, and then turned to Black Doom. — And you, monster, if you want to live, give up, leave and never come back here again! Black Doom barely stood up through groans and said: — Never! — Then goodbye, daddy! — Shadow grinned and raised his hand, striking. The screen suddenly darkens to black and Black Doom can be heard screaming offscreen. Apparently he dies off-screen. Shadow kills him and the invasion is stopped.
