Chapter 1

Notes:
Sorry for mistakes, if you found some
As much as Bakugou loved his friends, sometimes he could really hate them for the stupid things they do, because after this he was left responsible for everything.
He'd learned not to make bets with Kirishima, play "truth or dare" with Mina, try to help the situation in which Kaminari was involved and take advices from Sero. All this for his own good, because it was just so easy to reach the critical point.
And, of course, Katsuki'd made sure to leave when they started to talk about girls and all this stuff because they'd always try to involve him and find out his greatest secret.
"Hey, Bakubro! How are you?"
And that morning started like usual.
"Fine", he growled. Throwing his bag on the floor, Katsuki fell on his chair and exhaled tiredly. He had been doing this shitty homework till 3 a.m., so it took him a while to get up and cover the eyebags. His arms and legs hurt after the drumming session, and he completely forgot about training today. Would Aizawa let him..? Nah, he'd say "fuck you". It was his own mistake.
"So, you know, Bakugou, we have been thinking for a while about it and..."
Oh no. Not again, goddamn it!
Katsuki slowly looked up, his hair covered his eyes. Denki flipped them away and continued: "We'd spotted a cute girl from the Support course, I think you can invite her...", he giggled.
"No, Dunce Face, I will fucking not invite her. I thought I told you that many times."
"Ah, come on! The ball is already in three days, and you haven't still invited anyone! As a member of Big Three, I think Aizawa would have to do something with it."
Fuck, the event. He forgot.
In his thoughts Katsuki facepalmed. Keeping the straight face, he processed things quickly. The main problem was not that he couldn't invite a girl-no, actually, it was quite the opposite,-he just didn't wanted to be in the center of the attention. The fans were following him everywhere, some of them had no problems with coming close and asking to take a selfie. It was kind of... strange. He wasn't this popular a year ago. It started when the band he was playing in participated in the big event.
"Oops, guess someone has forgotten about it... well, then we can fix that-" Kirishima continued, but Bakugou abruptly cut him off.
"Don't fucking even think of it. I will not invite anyone you say."
"Dude, you are, like, the sexiest guy in UA, you won't have a problem with that! Or are you afraid?" the tone Kaminari spoke in was this cunning he used to press Katsuki into things he didn't want to happen. But this time Bakugou planned to do everything himself.
"I have a fucking girlfriend, idiots."
What the fuck did he just say?!
"Oooooh, I see... well, I'm looking forward to the ball to see you two", and with that the group turned around and left, leaving him alone. Of course, they knew that he had no girlfriend. Katsuki buried his head in his hands and screamed inside, yelling at himself for what he just did.
"I have a girlfriend?! I have a girlfriend, Bakugou?! Since fucking when?! And how am I supposed to get out of this? Great job of ruining everything again, what else am I supposed to say."
Okay, it's Tuesday today, and the ball is on Friday. Must be easy to find a partner for the ball, right?
***
As he figured out later, no.
He just couldn't come to a random girl and ask her to go to the ball with him. That was ridiculous. He couldn't even sit alone at the breaks, not talking about talking to someone. Katsuki sat on the bed, staring at the wall absentmindedly, while his fingers ran up and down the neck of the guitar, playing some easy riffs.
The event would take place tomorrow, and he still didn't invite anyone. He could just say that his 'girlfriend' wasn't from UA, but later Aizawa told that they could invite anyone, even from other schools. Oh, how many mocking gazes he received from his friends.
Never talk to these idiots about girls, Katsuki thought again. The vibrating string followed the movement of his fingers as the deep sound filled the room. This song always calmed him down.
***
"Is your girlfrie-"
"Shut. The fuck. Up."
For the first time Eijirou decided not to press further. Maybe he got it, maybe he just saw a very irritated Bakugou almost breaking down, and this was probably the right cause. The door shut loudly behind the blonde, and Momo looked from the kitchen, worried:
"What's wrong?"
"Uh, nothing! That's just Bakugou."
"He didn't eat anything..."
"Sure he did, I saw him carrying a bag of chips this morning."
"Okay..." the girl disappeared behind the wall, and Kaminari looked at the rest of the Bakusquad:
"Bet he'll go alone. He does not have a girlfriend, I told you."
"Maybe we went too far with that..." Kirishima looked at his friend, who shrugged it off:
"Like it's a problem to him."
"Well, maybe it is? Didn't you hear him this morning?"
"Okay, fine, I will apologise", Kaminari backed off. Kirishima nodded in approvement and grabbed his bag and left the campus, heading to the school.

"Fucking bastards!"-yelled Katsuki, ignoring the looks people gave to him. He groaned quietely and pulled the scarf up, kicking the stone.
He was pretty much fucked up. Just nine hours and he had to get a girlfriend. Katsuki was thinking about asking some random girl, he really hadn't had problems with that when suddenly a familiar clothes appeared not so far away.
Oh fucking god, he was about to cry from overwhelming happiness. Bakugou sped up his pace and soon caught up with a person he'd just noticed.
"Oh, nice to meet you, Katsuki", she said, smiling and shaking his hand. Her name was Akira Saito, and she was his bandmate.
"Hi, Akira. What are you doing here?"
"Helping my sister with her clothes. She was invited, you know? I think his name was... uh, Denki?"
Fucker, even he got the girl. Katsuki nodded. How could he forget?
"Well, I need your help too."
"What's that?"
"Uh... well, there's a ball today, you know about it, but the problem is that I don't have anyone to go with me."
"You can just go alone, can't you?" Akira said, but Katsuki quickly answered:
"I can't just go with a random girl, that's the problem! I said I have a girlfriend!"
"You- what?" She laughed, covering her mouth. After a couple of seconds, Akira answered:
"Okay, I'll save your ass and go with you."
"Really? Thank you so fucking much, I owe you."
"Yeah, sure," she smirked, "you'll help me with the guitar part then, 'kay?"
"Mhm, thank you again."

The class was dismissed earlier than usual, because the staff had to set the hall ready. From the amount of boxes Katsuki saw he could tell that the event was going to be great. As for now, he stood in front of the wardrobe, searching for the clothes.
He would probably just wear the same he wore to the music fest where his band participated, which included black wide jeans, black longsleeve with ripped sleeves and his favourite shoes which were comfortable and really clean compared to his other shoes.
"Yeah, I look great", he stated and took the guitar to shorten the time.
***
"You think he's gonna get someone?"
"Yeah, I'm sure about that."
The Bakusquad stood down in the hallway, waiting for Kaminari. Soon the boy appeared with a cute girl walking beside him. They chatted all the way to the group, and when they stopped near, they received a bunch of conpliments:
"Woah, nice choice!"
"Thank you, guys", Kaminari smiled widely.
Suddenly the group of girls from General course started to whisper to each other and point fingers to the doors. Sero raised his hand and suddenly pinched Kirishima's shoulder:
"Guys, guys, look!"
There, in the end of the hallway, a couple walked slowly, talking about something. Kaminari gasped and whisper-yelled, recognising the person on the right:
"That's Bakugou?!"
"Where?"
"Yeah, right there! And he's got a girlfriend!"
"Bakugou's got a girlfriend?!"
"And isn't she the guitarist from his band?"
"No way, it's her!"
Katsuki seemed unbothered by the looks and cameras pointed at them, nor was Akira. Walking past his friends, he gave them a quick but mocking gaze. That was an one big "fuck you" to his friends. He smiled slightly, imagining their faces tomorrow.
It would be the best evening in his life.
