Tails' Last Chance!
April 23, 2024 at 3:30 AM
Luz Bucket came out into a large field that grew only daisies and grass, and the trees were just a wall around the meadow. He looked around and the place seemed beautiful to him. He could tell by smell that there were nagas somewhere here. So they are here somewhere. He just didn't look for them well. Before further searching, he decided to admire the beautiful flowers in this meadow. Leaning down, he sniffed and smiled. Luz began to remember his childhood, how, as a child, he loved to pick flowers and give them to his beloved dad Reflection, for which he patted him on the head. A tear of joy even flowed from the scorpion naga's right eye.
β Dad! β he said out loud.
β Your dad would never forgive you for what you tried to do. β he heard Tails' voice sharply behind him. Scorpio turned around and saw the fox himself, who, with a sword in his hands, stood proudly in place and looked at him menacingly. Next to him were his young copy, as well as four hedgehogs, two of which were gray and two brown. They also looked sternly at this villain, although they were a little afraid of him, because they had never seen him before.
Luz got angry, couldnβt stand it, turned red with anger and hissed through his teeth, almost shouting, clenching his hands into fists:
β WELL, WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO WITH THIS VORICATING DOUBLE-TAILED PAIN??? WHEN WILL YOU FINALLY GET AWAY FROM ME???
β Cool down, Trash Eggplant! We donβt even know you and have almost never met you. β said Benny.
β Why are you yelling at us? β Sammy asked.
β Hm. But really, who are you? β Luz asked.
β Never mind. We're here to stop you. β Sammy replied.
β Yes? Do you really think that you six little ones can compete with me and defeat me? And even without the help of your faithful striped naga, who licks your...
β No no no no no! β Tails raised his index finger. β There are children here, so keep your swearing to yourself!
Luz only looked sternly at the two-tailed and adult fox.
β Iβm tired of you, naga hunter. I put up with you for a long time, but now my patience has run out. I will tear you into small pieces and wonβt even leave you with bones. β he threatened him.
β Ha! Well, try it if you are not afraid of my sword! β Tails boldly provoked the naga-scorpion into battle.
He screamed and crawled straight towards the fox. The children got scared and ran away in all directions. Only adult Tails remained and looked sternly at the dangerous enemy approaching him. As Luz approached and extended his right arm to grab him, he jumped, ran up his arm to his shoulder, jumped again and kicked the naga in the eye with his left leg. The fox then swung his sword and hoped to hit him in the forehead, but the naga scorpion managed to put the tip of his tail between his muzzle and the fox's sword in time. The dagger at the tip of the tail, like another sword, deflected Tails' blow with his sword. Both blades touched and began to twitch under the pressure of both opponents' recoil. Even though Luz was larger, the fox stayed exactly in the same place, as if his physical strength was equal to the physical strength of the giant.
β Naive fool, how can you defeat a naga like me? It would be better if you stayed at home in our world and didnβt poke your nose into my affairs! β Luz hissed in anger, clenching his right hand into a fist and hoping to quietly hit the fox in order to throw him off. However, Tails noticed the fist in time and managed to dodge, while continuing to keep the distance from the contact of the swords. Putting his blades away, Luz attacked himself next. He hoped to wound the fox in the shoulder with the sharp tip of his tail, but this time he himself repelled his attack, defending himself with his sword.
β Don't joke with me, rotten ham!
Tails and Luz began to fight against each other, like gladiators with swords. Naga, using only the sharp tip of his tail, tried to stab the fox and defend himself from his sword, without using his hands, moving back and forth at one time, and the fox, flying on his tails, tried to wound with his sword and defended himself with it from the attacks of Luz's tail. The sword fight felt like a battle to the death between two pirates who had nothing to share. The children sat on tree branches and just watched them fight.
β Why do we stand aside and watch? We have to help Tails! β said Nelly.
The little fox plucked one large cone from the tree, flew up very high on his tails, stood above the naga and his adult version, and then whistled. Luz and Tails stopped fighting for a second and were distracted by the whistling of a young fox.
β CATCH YOU THE CORE!!! β he shouted and threw his cone from his hands. It fell sharply under a strong throw and crashed directly into the nagaβs forehead, causing him to groan through his teeth and grab the sore spot on his head with his free hand.
β Received? β Tiny asked and picked another similar cone. β You do not like? Here's more for you, you vile villain! β she said and threw it with all her strength directly at the nagaβs tail, causing him to jump, also screaming in pain.
β A-AY!!! β he shouted and hissed, crawling towards the little hedgehog. She got scared and wanted to run away, when naga grabbed her. β Iβll teach you to respect elders like me, little one.
β NO!!! β Sammy shouted.
Luz opened his mouth and threw the baby into his mouth. She just silently closed her eyes and hoped that at least it would end up in a safe stomach, so as not to be digested. Adult Tails flew up to the back of the scorpion-naga and plunged his sword straight into his back. This hurt Luz so much that he bulged his eyes and roared like Godzilla, spitting Tiny high into the air in one go. Once in the sky, she waved her arms and legs, and then began to scream heart-rendingly as she began to fall down. Little Tails flew up to Tiny and managed to grab her hands at the very last moment so that she would not crash on the ground.
β Don't you dare eat children, you monster! β the adult Tails snapped and screamed and flew at Luz, swinging his sword. Scorpio again defended himself with his dagger at the tip of his tail, and Sammy, Benny and Nelly also began to pick off cones and threw them at Luz. Or rather, right at the back of his head and back. Young Tails picked up a wasp's nest somewhere, taking it in his hands, he flew up to Luz and threw it at him in the back. The nest broke due to a collision with the back, but did not cause any damage. Because of this, the wasps, who were inside this very nest and were sleeping, became angry with the naga because he broke their house and began to sting him painfully from the back. Luz began jumping on the spot, trying to swat the little striped insects, which, although they were too small, stung him very painfully. They stung so painfully that the pain was unbearable and the nag began to scream even louder:
β A-A-A-A-A-A-A-ARGH!!! HU-U-URT!!!
The adult Tails, like a child, only stood to the side and laughed at him. When Luz smacked all the wasps that were stinging him painfully on the back with his huge palm, the scorpion-naga became even more angry that his eyes turned red.
β Do you want to laugh at me? He who laughs last laughs best. β he hissed through his teeth, picking up a large stone and throwing it straight at the tree on whose branches Sammy and Nelly were sitting. From the shaking of the tree, they almost fell, barely grasping the branch with their hands. Bucket then ran at them, mouth agape, hoping to eat them. At that moment, the adult Tails swooped in from his side and swung his sword, leaving a scar on the naga's right cheek. He screamed in pain again and froze. Then, as Tails prepared to swing his sword again, Luz realized to grab his sword with the clawed fingers of his right hand. He clenched his left hand and with one blow threw the fox away, forcing him to crash into a tree. Then he peeled off and fell to the ground. Groaning, he could barely get up. Luz stood in front of him and clenched his hands into fists, preparing to crush him.
β Itβs a pity that I didnβt finish you off as a baby in that village, like your parents, when I still could. Apparently I was too merciful to you then, since I allowed you to float away along the river.
When the fox heard this, his eyes bulged and anger took over his mind. He raised his evil gaze at the naga scorpion and hissed:
β What you said?
Luz didnβt answer and prepared to swat him like a fly. Tiny at that moment ran up to the tip of Luz's tail, took it and bit him painfully on the tail. He screamed and grabbed his ponytail.
β This is for you for almost eating me! β she told him, which only angered him even more. β Oh-oh! β the scorpion raised its hands and growled at the top of its lungs, preparing to pounce on the baby. Little Tails at this time, shouting like Tarzan, flew up to him from behind with a large stick in his hands and began to hit him on the back of the head. It hurt a little, but he immediately realized to turn around, take his weapon from the little guy and bite off a piece of it in order to intimidate him. He did this, looking angrily at the little fox and spitting a bitten piece of stick to the side. The boy even hiccupped in fear. He was preparing to grab him as well, but at that time Benny found cow poop and threw it right in the naga's face. He began to wipe it off his face.
β Ugh! That's disgusting! What is this?
β This is cow poop. β Benny answered smiling and laughed quietly to the side.
β Well, Iβll show you now! β he said, and without waiting, he received another blow with his sword from the adult Tails, who swooped down from below. This time he received a scar under the eyelid of his right eye. He grabbed his whole eye with his free hand and wanted to wound Tails with his sharp tail, when the fox swung his sword from top to bottom and slightly chopped off the tip of his tail, depriving him of his own sting. Naga, with tears in his eyes, grabbed his sore ponytail and fell to the ground. Tails landed on his stomach and leaned the sharp end of his sword against him. Tails wanted to kill him, but held on as best he could.
β You lost, Luz! Surrender and I will spare your life!
Luz, hearing his demand, did not trust him.
β Are you not deceiving me?
β I never deceive anyone. I always keep my word. I'm a warrior, not a killer. Anger has clouded our minds. I will not succumb to anger, just as you succumbed to it long ago. Just give up in a good way!
Scorpio sighs heavily, but he only pretended to give up and decided to deceive him.
β Okay, Tails. You won! I give up. β he said and pretended that he decided to lie quietly. Tails smiled and hid his sword in his pockets. Then the naga grinned and grabbed the fox with his right hand. β I lied! β he said grinning and opened his mouth, preparing to eat him.
β NO!!! β all the children shouted at once.
Suddenly, a bright flash appeared from somewhere and the embittered Shadow himself appeared with a bandana around his neck. He hit Luz right in the nose with his right fist, causing him to let go of the fox and grab his tail with both hands, almost roaring. The children, when they saw that Shadow, were afraid of him. If only it was the same Shadow who is a friend of that Tails, and not them, who also tried to eat them several times.
β DON'T YOU DARE EAT MY FRIEND, YOU MONSTER!!! β he growled at the naga scorpion, took a large stone in both hands and hit it on its face. The stone broke, and Luz himself lost consciousness from such a blow. In addition, he sighed heavily.
β Sha...Shadow? β the big fox asked him. The impostor turned his gaze to him, smiled and stretched out both hands and said:
β Hello Friend!
Tails immediately smiled and flew into his arms. Shadow, of course, returned the hug. At that moment, Sonic and Sally themselves ran out into the meadow.
β CHILDREN!!! β they shouted to them. Of course, Shadow himself heard them. This means he wonβt be able to eat them in front of them.
The children themselves ran to their nagas and they also hugged them.
β Glory to Chaos, you are all alive and unharmed. β Sally almost cried with joy.
β Thanks Tails! Sammy replied. β I mean, not to our Tails, but to this one! β he explained, pointing his finger at the adult fox who had finished hugging Shadow in a bandana. He also flew up to them.
β Are you okay? β he asked Tiny.
β Itβs okay, Uncle Tails! This is not the first time I have fallen into the stomachs of nagas. β she joked in response.
β Well, thank the holy butterfly! β the fox sighed with relief. He then flew towards Sonic and Sally's eyes. β Hello. Please don't scold them so much! They were just trying to help me, and I protected them as best I could. But even if it werenβt for them, I myself would have been lost without them.
β Everything is fine! The main thing is that you are all safe and sound. Thanks to you! β Sonic answers. β Thank you, Tails, for saving our children. You are a very brave warrior.
β And a very brave naga hunter. β added Sally.
β What are you? Do not mention it! β Tails answered a little shyly, waving his hand slightly.
