In the modern world, every person has a sea of temptations: for some it could be sex, for other it could be money, for another it’s drugs…
There are also those who prefer everything at once.
There are people who are fully aware of their actions, others are not, and some of them do it under the influence. In any case, each of us at least once turned off the head when we got what we wanted for a long time.
You need to understand that people get hooked on drugs absolutely voluntarily, it’s just that not everyone fully understands this. If you are given pills or powder under any pretext, you always have the right to refuse. And if it’s not — think about what’s wrong with these people. Because everything can be wrong. It is very difficult to change the people around you, but it is much more difficult to get rid of addiction.
The situation becomes more complicated if, on the contrary, it pulls to try. And then again and again. Dozens, hundreds of times. In any case, the next (or not the next) day you can go to a rehabilitation center and they will help you cope with it. But is this what you want?..
“The Extraversion of Death” is a story about teenagers and drugs, about a terrible time when one addiction is replaced by another, more severe, and life itself is the pursuit of a “high”.
The narration is conducted on behalf of a young girl who is losing care and understanding among her closest ones and starting to look for it in other people and things. And one day she will be destined to understand that drugs are not the way out, this is a dead end, an endless hell that decomposes the body during all the lifetime. Or maybe she’d find out when it was too late. Like any of the addicts.
Enjoy the reading.
And remember that:
The life of a drug addict is not an eternal free high,
the life of a drug addict is not a bright crazy trip,
the life of a drug addict — when you get up in the morning
or when you died while trying to come long ago.*
