And if Lady Luck wasn’t still by my side,
And if she completely gave up on my life,
I would have been dead,
I would have been dead,
I would have been dead before I was five!
And life isn’t fair,
And gods can’t be just,
But hey, it’s okay,
Just do what you must.
And if you give up,
You wouldn’t be first,
To see what I am
And see what I’m worth,
Your heart is worth more,
I won’t blame you for that,
I will go ahead,
Let my guilt crush me flat,
And I’ll tear up my mind,
Guess I’ll settle for that,
I just wish that you knew,
Though my words aren’t new,
I’ve got Lady Luck’s favour,
