      Riko panted as he felt the dreaded stick touching his ass.       “You are going too slow,” said Renee, who was walking beside Riko. “Keep up.” She tapped a heeling stick on his asscheek.       Riko felt like his face was burning from embarrassment. Riko gulped down the air while Renee clipped a leash to the man’s collar.       Renee stood up with the sticks in one hand, the end of the leash in the other. Riko felt his collar being tugged.       “On your feet. We are done here,” said Renee.       Riko followed his Miss’ order and got up. His joints protested at the movement and he tried to hide his grimace. He started walking on shaky legs behind Renee. The court’s floor was cold beneath his bare feet.       Renee glanced at Riko. “Now that you got the hang of everything,” she started, “I can start teaching your brothers. You’ll be a great example.” Renee started humming to herself, which echoed in the Nest’s corridor. She was really pleased with today’s outcome.       Riko felt warmth bloom in his chest at the clear affection in Renee’s voice. His body felt so light he could fly, he thought. Even the darkness of the Nest couldn’t bring his mood down.       “Thank you, Miss.” Riko’s voice was raspy. He cleared his throat, before adding, “I’ll gladly help you with others,” he said, determined.       “You always do.” Renee smiled. “As is expected of my Number One.”       Renee tugged Riko’s leash and steered them towards her room. “Now come, I’ll give you the promised reward,” she said.       A small smile appeared on Riko’s face. 'This day wasn’t so bad after all,' he thought.
