Imagine that you were Finnick's beloved.

"Finnick, I know that you have prepared a message for one of the viewers, a special viewer, let's listen," Caesar said and handed the microphone to Finnick.
"Yes," the guy smiled, then looked away, gathering his thoughts, and then looked straight into the camera, "my love," the guy spoke, "my heart belongs only to you and if I," he faltered, "die in the Arena, I will die dreaming of yours a kiss," Finnick finished.
"Wow, that was... amazing," Flickerman muttered, "Finnick, will you tell us who you dedicated these words to?"
"To all the girls of the Capitol," Odair smiled, and all the girls who were present in the hall immediately squeaked with delight, one of them shouted "Finnick, I love you!".
You knew that these words were dedicated to you and it made your heart ache. You covered your mouth with your hand, trying not to cry, but it turned out badly. Hot tears flowed down her cheeks. Finnick just said goodbye to you live. And although you also said goodbye to him before the winners of the Games were taken away from their districts, it didn't seem enough to you after such a farewell. You made a vow to yourself that if when Finnick returns, you won't let him go anywhere else.
