Being Peeta Mellark's Girlfriend: • You met when Peeta was chosen to be a tribute to the seventy-fourth Hunger Games. • You were one of the stylists, Cinna's assistant. • You helped Peeta and Katniss prepare for public and Arena appearances and communicated well with them. • Peeta communicated with the entire training team and he was such a kind, bright and smiling guy that it was impossible not to smile back at him. • You looked at him and you felt incredibly sad that he might not return from the Arena. • But thanks to Katniss, he managed to survive and return. • The next year there was a Victors' Purge and you and Peeta met again. • But there's not much left of that sociable and kind guy. Peeta became more withdrawn and suffered from terrible nightmares at night. • You were still kind to him and Katniss. • You got close to him. • He liked you, just like you liked him. • You were worried that he was sent to the Arena. • Cinna's death was a blow to you. You knew that Katniss saw how the peacekeepers took him away and you wanted to hug the girl, show that she was not alone, but you couldn't do it, because the Hunger Games had already begun. • The president wanted to take you away, but Haymitch managed to invite you to join the uprising, to which you agreed, because you were tired of President Snow's tyranny. • Abernathy brought you to District Thirteen. • When Peeta was taken to the Capitol, you were insanely worried about him. • But thanks to Katniss, who became a symbol of the uprising of the districts, he returned alive. • When you found out that Snow was torturing him, you almost tore up the room that Coin had given you. • You were later punished for this, but you could not vent your emotions anywhere else, except for training. • You tried to help Peeta, but it was damn hard to do. Snow tortured him with the poison of killer wasps and did everything to make Peeta hate Katniss. • But he didn't know about your relationship with him, so you, albeit cautiously, tried to help Peeta. • You did it, albeit with difficulty. You managed to awaken his consciousness. • He was horrified by what he was doing while under the influence of poison. • But you calmed him down because you knew it wasn't him. • Even after many years, Peeta still suffers from terrible nightmares. • You kiss him, hug him, hoping that this will help drive away the nightmares. • And it helps.
