Chapter 1
December 3, 2023 at 8:15 AM
Dima, as always, came to school closer to the 3rd lesson. Well, why come if you have 1 physical education lesson and even more so if you overslept. A weighty argument. Anyway, he sat down at his desk and took out his phone. Damn it! Soulmate distribution today! The blue-eyed blond man looked wearily at the ceiling and took a deep breath. Well, now he's lit up at school, which means he won't be able to escape. As he continued to read the school news, he noticed out of the corner of his eye that a girl had entered the classroom. He ignored her and continued flipping through social media.
- hello! May I sit down? A voice rang out overhead
— Yes, you can — Dima looked up at her. A bright spark sparkled in the girl's eyes, so familiar and unusual. Her brown eyes attracted and did not want to let go. The new girl looked at me with a smile and broke eye contact by sitting down at her desk.
— Have you heard the news? Today we will find out who our soulmate is! Isn't it great?
— Yeah.
The bell rang. The conversation had to be stopped.
— Hello class! Today, a new girl was transferred to us, Sofa, come out.
— Hello everyone!
— I really hope that you will make friends with such a charming girl. Thank you, take your seat.
Sonya obediently sat down in her seat and began flipping through the textbook, catching other people's eyes on her. Appreciative glances.
— So, well, we start the lesson by checking the homework...
A life-saving bell for recess. The girl was happy, but not for long, and the next lesson was geometry! She hated this subject with all her heart and kidneys. But, you have to go to lessons. She followed the stream of students to their office. A big change. Someone ran to the dining room, someone to gossip in the toilet, and someone to sit on the phone or repeat the material. Sonya was not a nerd, so she just sat on the phone. Out of the corner of her eye, she saw someone approaching her.
— Well, hello, new girl, — the blonde in pink clothes with swollen lips greeted me not very friendly, like a Barbie!
- hi
— And you're nothing like that, — indeed, the sofa is very beautiful. Long, gorgeous dark chestnut hair, not a single pimple on her face, figure type: hourglass. Yes, every second girl dreams of such a body! If not every one.
— What do you mean?
— I mean beautiful.
— Thank you very much for the compliment, you are also very beautiful!
— And now we need to talk seriously, — the girl began harshly, — if you talk and molest my boyfriend, then I will kick you out of school and at the same time I will grind your reputation to powder. Is that clear?
— I see.
— Well, that's good, look at me!
The girl went to her desk and started laughing with her friends. Sonya found this girl rather strange, because she wasn't even going to take her boyfriend away. They haven't even known each other for a day yet! She really needs this Dima. And here he is, easy to talk about.
— Hello Sonya
Trying to ignore the greeting, a new girl stuck to the phone.
— If anything, they said that in this lesson we will be taken away for the distribution of soulmates. Be ready
— OK — the Sofa spoke as quietly as possible so that there would be less problems with Alice's boyfriend, as it turned out.
An old, withered teacher entered the classroom with a nasty, appraising look. Her eyes rested on the new girl. The sofa involuntarily shivered and prepared to answer unpleasant questions. The old woman raised her head above her nose and ordered:
— She's new. Get up. We all want to meet you.
Dead silence. All that could be heard was the girl getting up from her desk, not blinking at the teacher.
— Last name, first name, patronymic.
— Shinkar Sofya Evgenievna
— I see. Who do your parents work for?
Such frank questions at once? Sonya was a little surprised and after thinking about it, decided to lie. She has only a year left to study, it would be good to have a normal relationship with teachers. After some thought, she said:
— My mother works in Moscow as a chief sales manager, and my father works in the Ministry of Education as a chief assistant and deputy.
The girl caught the astonished glances of her classmates and the teacher. The mathematician's eyes almost fell out in surprise.
— All right, Sonechka, take a seat at any place in the class! We are all very glad to see you! Let's clap!!!
There were rare claps, but one glance from the woman was enough for absolutely everyone to start clapping. Sonya proudly sat down at her desk, and before she even had time to open her textbook, the sound of a loudspeaker was heard.
"Attention, attention!!! All students must pass the soulmate definition! Elementary school grades 1-4, go to the 23rd room for determination, 5-7 grade in 34, from 7th to 11th grade go to the 50th room! Those who fail the test will be tracked by GPS and immediately arrested!!!! Attention, attention!..." Absolutely everyone heard this news, and the whole class ran to room 50.

Finally, after standing a kilometer-long queue in the office, the Sofa went to the commission of 5 people and one teacher. In front of them was a small armchair, above which hung a device with a lot of wires and buttons. After lingering for a while near the door, Sonya sat down in an armchair and the teacher pressed the button.
Dark. Breathing is delayed for a second and is restored. She was in some kind of white room with no walls or ceiling. Just emptiness. The girl heard a click somewhere above her head and found herself in the office.
— You're free. Next!
Sonya obediently left the office. Her head was buzzing, her vision was blurry, and she was getting paler by the minute. It seems that the girl is about to faint. And so it happened. It went dark in her eyes, and the girl fell to the cold floor in complete silence. Suddenly, Dima appears from around the corner. He ran to Sonya, grabbed her by the waist, pulled her closer to him and... kissed her. Passionately, biting her lips, but Sofia felt nothing. Her head just hung down when the guy left her alone. Like a real man, he carried the girl to the medical center in his arms. And he was constantly looking at her face. How painfully familiar it is...
